Theyll nickel and dime you with transfer fees, cancellation fees, and straight up misplace your credits, even after you confirm with them that its all been taken care of.Theyll promise to waive certain fees and then refuse to do it when the time arrives. Theres no way to hold them accountable for promises they make.I would recommend going somewhere else.

Beware of this place. You will sign a contract that you can’t get out of without a fight. I had to have my bank block them and my bank could only recollect three payments. It took months to get them to stop billing me. Oh, they say they will but...Understand and know what you are signing in the contract. No matter what you discuss with them beforehand about automatically renewing you annually, this is not optional in the contract. Doesn’t matter what the desk person says. Do not trust the person telling what your signing 😂 please for your own good. Read the contract and don’t sign anything u don’t understand and be prepared for them not to do their part. You had better be prepared to do more than yours though. You will earn that little massage I tell you. When you want out you WILL jump through hoops. It’s not worth it. You can call talk to them till the cows come home, I called and talked to people MANY times and I talk to a rather delightful you lady who was very supportive and mature and just great but past her it fell upon def ears (management the problem). I left Many messages. Phone and email that were ignored. Many promises. Then they will take all your built up hours you didn’t use and kick you off your ability to schedule on the app. You have to call after that and you won’t always get through. When you go in for your last three months they will fight you. Please stay away. My friend who got me into this is now discovering she has built up hours she can’t use because they can only get her in once a month. Not all their massage therapists are good. Some of them do ok nothing amazing but good and some make u wish you could get up and walk away but you don’t want to be rude. You just lay there and suffer the irritation and annoying massage.

I REALLY wanted to like this place. I bought my boyfriend a gift card for a couples massage in Feb. 2020, Then COVID happened and this place shut down for a bit. A year later Feb. 2021 we were finally able to schedule for a massage. First off they don’t have a real couples massage room so if that’s what your looking for... this is not the place. The massage was great and the therapist did an excellent job! Now when we went to pay the tip the front desk lady said we still had to pay? I explained I bought this on my boyfriends account and it should be on there (the lady that scheduled the massage over the phone was able to see it.) She then calls in a manager and now the manager is saying that I still owe and they don’t have digital gift cards. Strange? Because now looking on the website there is a link that says Egiftcards. After 30 minutes and trying to make me feel as if I need to pay AGAIN.. they find it. But apparently from last year the price of massages went up $60 and the manager said (we can’t change this, its corporate...) My overall thoughts on this experience were quality massage but if you ever want to keep business you need to stray from making people super relaxed in their massage and then stressing them out for 30 minutes right before they leave. $240 couples massage, excluding the tip. I think I will try and different place for now. Sad to write this review but something’s gotta change here..

Horrible scheduling staff. Never even got the chance to get a massage. I feel bad for the therapists there, because they probably make next to nothing because of the horrible staff scheduling their appointments and dealing with their clients. They must be going out of business soon, they wont return my phone calls. or my emails. Very rude Front desk that said there is nothing she can do for me when THEY scheduled me for a date way later then discussed on the phone. I know for a fact because I ALWAYS put my appts in my calendar so I do not forget. I also make appts for a living and I ALWAYS double confirm the date and time after putting it in my calendar. They took my credit away even though I never confirmed my appt and asked ONCE more on the confirmation call for manager to call me. This woman who called to conf. my appt a week after the one I showed up to and promised she would have her manager call me. Nothing.... and its been over a month! still nothing. do not go to this location if you do make sure you make your appointment online the scheduling software does a better job then the humans running this place. The Draper one is the best!

I’ve seen a few of the therapists here, and I feel like this place genuinely runs the gambit in terms of massage styles, and all are very accessible. Regardless of who you are, you’ll be able to find a therapist well suited to your needs. And every time I leave a session, I’ve learned something new about my body and how to better take care of it. The therapists are very good at giving tips for care at the end of each session. I haven’t been to a place with as many varied and experienced therapists as this. Let alone a place at this price-point. Definitely worth trying.

Massage Envy is a big name and they live up to their reputation of nice facilities and good massages. The location is a little hard to find, but we made it. The front desk was helpful and the therapists were good. That being said it was not the most relaxing atmosphere ever. The rooms are less than what I was expecting, plain and kinda ugly. But I guess it doesn’t matter because my eyes are closed. Overall was happy with the massage, just felt like there could have been more attention to the atmosphere.

This location has gone downhill drastically in the past year or two. The level of service has been incredibly unsatisfactory. Ive had them misplace my credit card information multiple times. I go in for an appointment and they tell me I have an expired credit card on my account; which I had updated maybe 6 mo ago??They had to bill me for 3 months at once worth of dues because they failed to save my cc number.They have asked me if Im still pregnant...I had my baby 18 months ago! They cant get their medical records straight.They had me down for a wrong time and said it was my fault. Ive never written down a massage apt incorrectly nor ever been late! What happened to customer service?? Ive been a member for 8+ years and I cant wait to be done with my membership!!Just now they called to cancel my last appointment with them because the therapist cant be there without giving me viable options. Seriously! How do you stay in business??? Id never recommend this location to anyone ever again. Maybe the Draper but not American Fork!! They used to have good therapists now its like scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Horrible customer service. I called to cancel my appointment because I was feeling flu-like symptoms and I didn’t wanted to spread any potential infection but the staff wasn’t willing to cancel my appointment without charging me the full amount. So if someone might possibly have COVID-19, not being flexible with cancellations could cause that person to come in anyways and spread the sickness, since they’ll be charging them anyways. Terrible customer experience.

I have tried getting a hold of the owner over a few different emails over the last couple days and have been ignored. I have many other issues I have looked pass. After this last couple of issues I beed to find a more professional company to work withI have had two appointments cancel consecutively, one today and one last sunday with only a couple hours notice. I understand this happens sometimes but two weeks in a row is really unprofessional! I schedule my appointments far in advance because I need evening, when my appointments are cancelledit it puts me waiting for another evening appointment. I have a monthly membership for maintenance to help manage my back pain for my job. When I do not provide a 24 hour notice before cancelling an appointment i am charged for it and lose my massage it is only fair you abide by the same rule (which I have lost my time and paid for in the past

I was given a gift card to use at Massage Envy for a 60-minute massage. I received my service and went to use it afterward to pay for my service. I was told that the person that gave me the gift card had canceled their membership with ME, and that I had to pay for the service out of my own pocket. Being a college student who went in to use this gift card for a free massage, this was a very stressful situation. I dont really understand why they have this as an option - why not just a regular gift card? In order to avoid this, the receptionist should confirm whether or not the customer will be paying with a gift card, then confirm whether or not the member who provided the gift card is still active with ME or not. That would have saved me a lot of financial trouble. lol.The girl that checked me in was extremely helpful. She walked me through the whole check in process on the iPad. She made sure to explain everything in detail to me to make sure the massage was as beneficial as possible. I really appreciated her!The massage itself was great. My masseuse, Jeralynn, did a fantastic job. I asked for a deep tissue massage because I was very tight and had a lot of knots. She did a great job of relieving that stress and paying attention to the areas that I asked her to focus on more. The only suggestions I have regarding the massage itself are these: the room I was in was really cold, the oil she used was cold, and the lighting in the room wasnt comforting/relaxing. The environment in the room overall was just not very relaxing.

This was my first ever massage. I told them I had a $75 gift card to use when I called and scheduled. I wasn’t asked anything else until I got there. When I got there they gave me an iPad to show places I wanted a massage, etc. I was never really asked what kind of massage I wanted, I was just going with the flow! My massage person was nice, but honestly my massage wasn’t all that great. I told her when it was painful, when to push harder, etc. it just wasn’t that great of an experience. There were people talking loudly for at LEAST 30 minutes of my 45 minute massage, therapeutic? Relaxing? Nope. Not in the slightest. I probably won’t ever get a massage again 😂 not to mention I requested a massage that would use up my gift card. Apparently they didn’t listen and they set my appoint for an intro massage and even after a decent tip, I still had $15 leftover.

It was an okay experience. I paid for the 90 minute massage, but I only received 80 minutes. It wasnt too big of a deal, but I just expect to get my moneys worth since I dont get a massage often. I had an extremely nice massage therapist, and its just my personal preference that there is a minimal amount of conversation during the massage. Not a big deal, but I just wanted to relax truthfully. Anyways, it was an alright experience. I didnt really think it was worth me ever going back.

My wife scheduled a massage for my birthday. I drove 45 min from Eagle Mountain to find out my massage therapist had called in sick today, and they were booked for a while. There was an offer to put me at the top of their cancellation reschedule list, but the entire point was this would be my birthday gift from my wife since Ive had some bad back pain lately.I didnt feel like anyone gave a damn, it seemed like they were annoyed I was there. They claimed they tried to call, but neither my wife or I had any missed calls from them.Ill be seeking massages from another business in the future.

This place is a joke. The first time I scheduled (for my birthday,) they called two hours before the session and cancelled on me. When I finally went in it was a complete nightmare to try and pay with a gift certificate. They convinced me to book another session a month in advance. I didn’t receive a single reminder email, text, phone call, literally nothing. The appointment rolls around and I receive a phone call stating that they’re charging me full price. I told the “manager” that I never received any kind of reminder and they can’t expect people to remember a session they’d booked a month out. She laughed and said “yeah, our system has been glitching with reminders, but we’re still charging you full price.” This is the first experience I’ve had with a company that has led me to leave a negative review. I am a laid back person and hard to upset, but this has left me beyond angry. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

This location in particular is definitely more run down than others Ive been to but unlike other reviews, Ive always had fairly good service. Been a member for 2 or 3 years with no major issues. As far as massage therapists go, its a full spectrum. Ive had a consistent therapist who is very skilled but when I do have to schedule with a random person, I have no idea what Ill get. They have a binder in the lobby describing each therapist but when you call to schedule, you have no way of judging who is good. Lots and lots of inexperienced therapists here, some really good. You just have to keep trying to find one who works well for you.

I wish I could give 0 stars. I am very unhappy with the lack of professionalism. They are losing my membership over $45 dollars. When I call to schedule appointments they are booked and I can rarely get in and then when I did talk with them and schedule an appointment that was iffy to begin with I was told they would call back to confirm and they never did. They then charged me for an appointment that was never confirmed. Its sad to see a company run so poorly with this lack of customer service. Stay away and do not get a membership.

I have been going to massage envey for over 6 yrs, I was getting facials and my face was becoming amazing, unfortunately the lady that I went to had a baby and I was extremely happy for her. No one seemed as good as she was much to my disappoint, and I have had super massages since. Im going to try again as I can feel my face going back as it was before. I hope it works. The one thing that does upset me is that I had to cancel my appt because of an emergency in my family and they were going to charge me. If someone just flakes out I can see a charge, but that wasnt the case with me and I resented that it was even brought up.

I received a gift card for a massage from one of my students whose Mom and Dad are wealthy professionals. I receive a lot of gift cards, I keep them in a big stack. Now, I received this gift card over 2 years ago, but that shouldnt matter. Gift cards dont expire, right? Wrong!I tried to redeem it twice over the years, interesting, both times the therapists cancelled by calling in sick. No attempt to reschedule was made. (Which entertains a separate discussion.)So the other day, I said to my son, Hey, go use this gift card, I cant even go in there, they are too unprofessional. Plus, Im enrolled in a membership at another spa. So, my son gets the massage. As he attempts to redeem the gift card, they nicely tell him there is no record of it but they will look into it and call him for payment if they cant find it. WELL, OF COURSE THEY CANT FIND A RECORD OF IT. Four business days later they call me and say There is no record of the gift card. $50 later, I am shocked at their lack of customer care and unprofessional practices. I say to you, my friends, think twice about giving them your business. For sure, dont buy your childs teacher a massage from there.FAIL!

By far the most awful massage experience you will have in Utah. You shouldnt waste your money here, just go to the college of massage on Saturday. Cant get a time unless you go a week in advance and even then they call and cancel about three hours before. Other locations have been great but the overall rating for this one are on point.

My husband called the evening before to make sure we still had our appointment because he read TERRIBLE reviews and was afraid they had canceled it. Well, he was right. My wife bought me a gift card for Christmas and when I went to use it about a week ago, they told me they couldnt find a record of it. First, the lady said go get a massage and she will sort out the issue. Then after the massage, she said she couldnt find the record and I would have to pay full price. Then when my wife contacted them a week later (we left on vacation the day after the massage), and they said there is nothing they can do about it, get bent. This is the SECOND time that my wife has bought me a gift card from this location that they have refused to honor. Furthermore, I am not the only person I know that this has happened to. I do not trust these people and we will never use them again. Additionally, the Japanese Shamisen music they were playing was anything but relaxing. I asked for a change but was told by the masseur that he had no control over it.Having read the reviews, apparently this has happened to a lot of customers, which leads me to believe that Massage Envy in American Fork has zero integrity and is not a trustworthy business. Finally, the lady at the front desk asked me if I wanted to tip almost 4 times, despite the fact that I told her I already tipped the masseur. This place is a joke, go to New Age Wellness center in American Fork, they are sooooo much better! There are a lot of reasons that they have on average 1.5 stars fewer than any of the other massage professionals in Utah County.

Was given a gift card to try them.. they still ended up charging me a lot of money. The girl massaging me didnt listen to me; she massaged areas she felt I needed (by following a plan they offered) instead of where I felt the most tension as we went over my body & I had to ask her over & over to lighten her touch. I left there more sore than when I went. She also chattered about her life, my life, etc... when all I wanted to do was breathe, meditate & relax. Then afterwards I had to listen to an upsell speech. It almost felt like a car salesman experience, rather than a therapeutic experience focused on my needs as the client, rather than their business/employees needs. I have to be honest... I wont go back.

A little disappointed in my visit. I called days before hand to book my massage, and after arriving, the front desk girl couldn’t seem to find my appointment. I’m assuming that they squeezed me onto the appointment books because they were still able to see me, but the situation felt odd. After my massage (which was actually pretty good, Marget is very good at what she does) I was brought back to a different front desk girl. I had every single intention of signing up for their membership today, but I was not even given the opportunity too. The front desk girl didn’t bother asking about my experiance, or how my massage went, or even mention the membership at all. I asked her about it, hoping to get more information, but instead just got vague answers. So I left without signing up! So joke is on them because I had planned on giving them future business, but if the employees don’t care enough to keep a customer, then I don’t care to go back! I love Massage Evny as a company, but I will not be coming back to this particular location again.

When she went in for the appointment, they told her she needed to pay for the deep tissue AND tip AGAIN! And gave her a hard time for it. Where did the other money go? Therapist was good, but this is just ridiculous. What was meant to be a meaningful gift was a horrible experience for my wife. Thanks Massage Envy. I will never do business with you again, and will recommend that nobody come to your clinic.

It would have been my first time there; however, they neglected to tell me about a cancellation policy when I made an appointment so when I had to reschedule they refused to offer any type of discount. They were going to charge me no matter what. It was TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE because they wouldnt work with me, especially being a first time customer and not knowing about their policies. They just told me that Im going to be charged the full price, which they didnt tell me about either and they couldnt do anything about it. Well thats bullshit. Ive worked in customer service jobs for over 15 years and every single company Ive been with works and assists the customer. Good customer svc up ft , horrible massage itself. Therapist herself was hardly attentive at all whatsoever. Basically ran her hands up and down my back with absolutely no pressure. I asked several times for her to go harder with no results . I was her 7 th and final massage of the day. I understand tired but am very dissapointed. This location is horrible. The therapists are great, but they are overworked. You walk into the clinic and can feel the misery radiating from all of the employees. Nobody looks like they enjoy their job or want to be there. The rooms are not sound proof so you can hear all of the gossip going on up front and in certain rooms you can hear the traffic driving. Depending on the room you are in it can be too cold or too hot, rarely is the temperature satisfying. None of people up front seem to know what they are doing or know anything about the company. If you ask any questions they get a deer in the headlights look and nobody can give you a straight answer and everyone there tells you something different. The new manager is not customer service oriented. I have talked to her once and she is short and rude and uninformed. She does not know how to manage or how the company works. I had questions about my membership that previous managers have helped me with and she was clueless and not helpful. DO NOT support this location. Go to any other Massage Envy. The owner is never there either and doesnt seem to care what goes on in the clinic. This clinic is dirty and needs a facelift. The carpet is tattered and the paint looks terrible. Spend your money and go to a place that cares about you, your health and your business and not just collecting your money. Also, go somewhere you can see the value in what you are spending. For spending all of this money on a membership I would expect a better experience and a better maintained facility.

Blew my mind.After reading reviews that they cancel on you the very same day you have an appt booked, I hesitantly booked a couples massage at this location. My husband and I have been needing to get in as we both have back pain. I got a babysitter scheduled 1.5 weeks in advance and the appointment was booked 2 weeks in advance. Sure enough, the day of, they called an canceled. They didnt have anyone who could cover for one of the therapists and my only option was to reschedule for 2 weeks later. The Manager was defensive and rude and didnt offer anything as a way of apology. I was dealing with all of this over the phone while at my sisters house. When I got off the phone she said, I have a massage and foot treatment scheduled for my birthday in a few days, I sure hope they dont cancel on me! Sure enough, they did cancel on her 2 hours before her appt on her birthday. I could not believe it.But it gets worse...I again got a babysitter and my husband and I were so excited to go to our couples massage. Its not easy for us to find the time and the babysitter. AGAIN 3 days before our massage someone called and left me a message that one of our therapists had to reschedule. There is no option to have someone on call fill in for her or anything. Simply just had to reschedule again. AGAIN! I have no idea how this place stays in business. I hope it doesnt for much longer. I wont ever be using this location again. If you look at my profile youll see I dont often leave negative reviews but my mind is blown here.Carly is an awesome therapist, or so I hear (I guess Ill never know) but she has now canceled twice for personal reasons. Totally unreliable and upsetting. Massage envy and their managers are rude and defensive and wont do anything to make up for all your wasted time. Such a shame.

READ THE FINE PRINT !!!This was the worst customer service experience ever, and I cancelled my account with 18 credits ($900)... if that gives you any indication as to how unhappy I am with my experience at this location. I honestly tried to make it work with this company, but they are money hungry and their contract is iron clad. I honestly wish I had never signed up in the first place. The masseurs and masseuses are a mish-mash of new and poorly trained technicians who have zero consistency. I was hurt more times than I was helped, so I went to other locations. The counter people are also atrocious., and act like they are doing you have favor every time you call or walk in. This was bad customer service and bad customer support all the way around… spend your money elsewhere.

They are so inconsistent and ridiculous with their policies! They continually start the massage late and never make up the time ever with the client. Its your wasted money each month! There is no customer service and my husband and I have just canceled our membership! DONT GET SUCKED INTO THE MONTHLY CHARGES!!

Absolutely terrible customer service! I had to call about 10 times just to transfer a credit for a friend to use for her birthday and they still got it wrong: she had to pay for her appointment in full when she went in. Its been about a week and management still hasnt sorted this out. Do not go here!
