On the road with the F450 and the 44 foot trailer. The truck didn’t start this morning. The batteries were junk. Called Gilbert at 7 AM on a Saturday morning, he said meet him at his shop. We texted him the VIN, he arrived with new batteries. Two hours later we had two brand new batteries and some good conversation with a good man. If you all ever have a need for having work done in Amarillo, there are still good people in this world and Gilbert is one of them.

I got ECM problem on my kenworth t 600 at Dumas TX I got a bunch of call they came and tried to fix but they couldnt it was hard one of my co-worker told me about G Trck Service and I call him he need to bring the truck in his shop the same time he said me tow truck with good price he checked with the computer and he tell me exactly the problem (ECM AND SOME HARNESSES) he take off my ecm and send it to the shop but he gave me his ecm to run on the road, hes very nice and good price but he dont like rushing....so far GTS the best in Amarillo area

Gilbert is that guy. He went out of his way to make certain the work he was performing would be completed in a timely manner ensuring me I would make my delivery on time. Not to mention this man has been around trucks his entire life. As far as the gentleman who wanted to give Gilbert a negative review in regards to him charging one hour for a two minute job. Either this was your first rodeo or newsflash, pal, there is such a thing as Minimum One Hour Labor I recommend G Truck Service when in need of a good, decent mechanic, not to mention a good man, when in the Amarillo area.

Very satisfied with my experience with G Truck Service. It is a small shop, so always call ahead. I called after hours & set up appointment for following morning. Mr. Gilbert got me in right away & assessed my issue with my trailer (new trailer & roof not sealed properly from factory). He did a proper repair instead of a quick patch job that wouldnt last. Which I appreciated.Mr. Gilbert seems to take pride in the repair services he provides. If Im ever in the Amarillo area in need of repairs, Gilbert gets my business. We just want to express the gratitude to this business for the top service they provided to our driver that had a break down near Amarillo, TX.Our trucks AC went out while driving on I-40 near Amarillo so we looked at some shops that can take a look at it, but most of them were packed until Monday or didnt want to take us in because it was little over 4pm on a Friday. After couple of minutes calling around we came across Gs Trucking. They guy had no issues taking us in after 4pm. He took a look at the truck and run some test and found out that the system had no freon and thats why the AC wasnt working. We gave him the green light to fix and and retest it after he is done fixing it(which he did, our driver was the witness). We paid $165 for the labor and $83 for the Freon.Our guy got back on the road and just after driving 60 miles the ac went out again. I called G Trucks again and asked them if we can come back to see what happened. Long story short, our truck had a different issue besides the Freon, and the guy from G Truck Service Fixed him up and didnt want to charge him anything. Wished him a good luck and safe travels. Our driver was blown away by the service just as we were. Even though the driver had a long and tough day he drove out of that shop with a great mood.Thank You to G Truck Service for the Awesome experience! G Truck Service is the most reasonable and honest truck repair shop that I have visited in years. I specifically brought the Pete with a blown head to Gilbert because he is prompt and brutally honest. He wont hesitate to tell you the truth, even if it means a loss of business for himself. Respect.

Honestly soooo disappointed with this place. called them before coming and they said they would have no problem fixing us. when we arrived after looking at the damage. gave an outrageous price. so we ran around from shop to shop collecting pieces... and when it was all there the guy tool his sweet time to fix it. also charged us for 4 hours of labor when it only took him 2 hours. not happy with this place. through out fixing what needed to be done he kept coming up with other things that were supposedly needed that he never mentioned in the begening. And we ended up sitting all day at his shop in the heat while waiting to get fixed...... not happy and never coming back to this place...

Good Honest person. Will tell you what it will take to fix the problem and will tell you if He cant do it. Really reasonable rates. Ill recommend this place for repair.

For two minute work he told me that he charge a minimum of an hour. Basically he is just a ripoff. Very disappointed with his price more like robbery. Never come back again

Mr Gilbert jumped on my pete right away diagnostic the problem got the parts on order right away it was the weekend but now he is preparing for new parts as soon as he gets them , and found a water leak as he went through, you want find a better shop or person to trust your truck with

He will fix your problem. Bt can b pricey. You must call in advance to check whether anyones at the shop.
