If I could give zero stars I would. 5 weeks they had my truck. Understaffed and the Service manager needs to move on down the road. Sam the Service Writer is an absolutely doll did everything she could to help me out. Poor thing has been put in a pickle. After the Service manager was rude on the phone he meet me in person. He didnt like that and was quick to pull his phone out and offered to tow my truck anywhere I wanted. Nice customer service jackass!!! Got the GM involved and wow my truck was ready next day.long story short stay far away. Will never step foot on any Ron Carter dealership again for service or purchase.

Stay away from this dealership. I called to confirm that the vehicle I was interested in was still on the lot. The sales person I talked to was unable to find the vehicle and told me it had been sold. I received a call from another salesman Jonathan king at the dealership that the vehicle was still there. I made an appointment to look at a vehicle the next day. I arrived at the dealership and Jonathan king tells me the vehicle is in the service department getting a recall done so what other vehicle do I want to look at. Old school sales tactics. Stay away from this dealership.

Refused to honor the original website price..This was AFTER not even having the vehicle on the lot that I made an APPOINTMENT to see... assured me the vehicle would be there a certain day ...it was not!!!

Not the same dealership it was 10 years ago..worse, not better. There are better dealers out there that dont add bogus BS charges to new car purchases. Over the years, my family has purchased over 15 vehicles at this dealership but no more. Just have to say, the new owners suck.

And after going back and fourth, in the end he offerd me $10k more for it.Also according to the salesmanager the truck I drove from Galveston to see this morning had somehow increased in price $2k plus higher than was originally listed on their website. Which pretty much killed the deal for me & the very nice salesman.Obviously the salesmanager was only interested in $$ and not making a deal ,providung customer service or repeat business.I gave Rhett the above 5 stars.Avaricious salesmanager1 star.

Used to be a better dealer. Saw a vehicle on line listed for 13.3k the next day when I went in and asked it was jacked up to 15.9K. They refused to drop the price to what I had seen the night before spouting something about used car stock market. Offered to do 14.5 then down to 13.9. Vehicle needed lots of small fixes they refused to take care of but at the same time said anything goes wrong in next 3 months we will fix it??? Very next day car is back on internet at 13.3K! SHADY! wouldnt honor that price and change it real quick when someone comes in to drive it I believe that is called BAIT AND SWITCH only in this case you switch the price and not the car.

Purchased our 2019 RAM 3500 SRW from Ron Carter.We were looking to buy a Ford 350, but of the 10 dealers we tried to deal with they either only wanted to sell me what was on the lot or knew nothing about the towing packages. By the time I found a dealer that was knowledgeable, I would have had to get a 2020 and wait 3-4 months for delivery.The 3500 was comparable performance wise to the 350 and the build your own website was much clearer on what options you should get for max towing capacity.One year later, we have had no problems, it was very easy, a good deal, I would buy from them again!

I had bought a 2020 Ford explorer a few months ago an the transmission went out on it really quick in it. Brand new car. We have put the car in the service department so many times now an it has only gotten worse. Its become a safety hazard driving this car. The department keeps telling us its good to go but they have had the car almost longer than we have 😠. Ron Carter needs to make it right with us one way or another. They might have good sellers but the service department not so much.

I really wanted to like this service department because it’s 4 miles from my house. I took my Ram there three times to have an oil leak fixed. First time they tried to give back to me with loose parts, missing hardware, and excess oil dripping from all over the front end. The last two times they did better but it still leaked. They changed the taming case gasket two times and the oil pan gasket one time. I ended up just trading it in at another dealership just before it ran out of warranty. I recently gave them another chance with a Jeep but i ended up picking it up without any repairs.

They Dont Help, currently giving me the run around about forcing me to get a $150 diagnostic for a small squeak on a pully and dont want to help me figure out what my extended warranty covers and insist on doing a Diagnostic. I will be removing my extended warranty and taking my truck else where.

I picked out the Jeep Grand Cherokee I wanted to text drive online. I had a email and text right away telling me my vehicle was ready for test drive by Diego. Once I arrived Diego, my sales man was ready for me. He went over the vehicle and then my husband and I test drove the vehicle. I loved it. It had everything in it I wanted. Diego was very good with everything about the sale of the vehicle. Ive had the vehicle for 3 weeks and it is great. I like the comfort and speed it has. Ron Carter was great and Diego my salesman.

On Thursday, July 9, we took our vehicle in to have a check engine light investigated. Upon our arrival, we were told by the service advisor that they would have information for us by the end of the day on Friday. Also, we inquired about several service recalls that were outstanding on the vehicle. We were told that two out of the three service recalls could be completed, but the third service recall they did not know when they would get parts for it. When we asked about getting put on a waiting list for the parts, we were told that there was no waiting list and we were also told that they would be unable to let us know when the parts would be available.On Friday afternoon, we had to call and check with the service advisor to see where the vehicle is at with getting diagnosed. The service advisor was unsure of what the status of the vehicle was. He then told us that they would have information for us on Monday. On Monday we drove up to the dealership around 11 o’clock, and the service advisor was still unsure what the status of the vehicle was. He went to check and stated that the vehicle was In the bay and the technician was working on the vehicle. He assured us that he would have an answer for us by close of business on Monday.The service advisor never called us on Monday. On Tuesday morning I received a phone call stating that they had diagnose the problem and it was two different sensors. The service advisor stated that they were ordering the parts, and hopefully parts would be there on Wednesday. He also stated they were hoping to have the vehicle done Wednesday afternoon or sometimes Thursday. He stated he would keep us updated. Thursday afternoon around 430, we finally received a phone call stating that the vehicle was done.At that time, we asked about the vehicle getting washed. The service advisor stated that the wash rack was closed due to COVID-19. When we went to pick up the vehicle, we inquired about the sanitation Standards due to having technicians in the vehicle, and the risk for Covid. The service advisor stated that they did not sanitize the vehicle, that he could give us wipes. Overall, the entire visit was very frustrating and we did not feel like we have been kept informed during the process. We attempted to reach the management and we were transferred to a voicemail, we left a message and never received a return call.

We bought a truck from this place, and within less than a month we had to take it back because of mechanical issues. They wouldn’t offer a rental car even though the truck was in the shop for almost 6 days. We tried contacting the salesman (rob) to see if there was anything that he could do for us but there was nothing done on his side.We will never be buying from this place ever again.

Brought my Jeep to this location to fix a overheating problem. Was told that it would take 2-4 days to get it back, no problem. It ended up taking over a week and a half before I got my car back! On top of that, they found 6 more “problems” that needed fixing which they “fixed”, if it was covered in warranty.Fast forward to 3 months later, my car is over heating AGAIN! Same exact problem I took it up here for THE FIRST TIME that they were supposed to fix! I am irritated. Not only did they not fix the problem, they took it upon themselves to find different problems and attempted to fix those. I have been without a car now for 5 days. I have called the service department 4 times since 8:30 this morning to check the status only to get told someone would call me back. 4-5 hours later I have yet to hear from anyone! I have heard nothing but bad things about this place and WILL NOT be returning for any service here from now on!

If you go to Ron Carter for a RAM please be sure to work with Logan Dawson. We couldnt have asked for more from a salesman. He has excellent manners and was a joy to work with. After buying my Ram Limited truck they needed me to leave the truck during the weekday so that service could apply an update to the truck. Long story short I ended up locking the keys in the loaner at work. I called Logan and he said, no problem. He would drive my truck to me when it was done and pick up the loaner. This was him taking time away from the dealership, and possibly missing a sale, to deliver my truck from Alvin, TX to the Houston Medical Center.

They’ve had my Jeep for 8 days now. I have yet to speak to someone on the phone. I’ve called 11 times and left at least 5 messages. No returned calls. I had to physically go up there to make the appointment then I had to physically go up there 4 days later to find out what was wrong with it. They told me what was wrong and that they ordered parts. WHY wasn’t that an immediate phone call? I’m really wondering how I’m going to get my Jeep back since they don’t communicate by phone. The communication is a joke here, no telling what condition my car is going to be in whenever I finally get it back. I’m leaving this review in hopes that they see it and contact me. I’ve noticed they respond pretty quick to reviews.

I felt the need to change my review of the service department. As a customer for several years, I brought my new jeep in for a steering damper recall. It was installed incorrectly, twice! They claimed the first time it was replaced because it was defective....NO, the installation was defective! I brought in the Jeep Service Bulletin to show it was wrong. I was told it was installed correctly (after they kept my jeep for 28 days). Took my jeep to another service department and they confirmed it was, indeed, installed incorrectly. This is a STEERING part that caused a death wobble. Check your vehicle repairs thoroughly! I have several more issues that involved being lied to, but this safety issue was my main concern.

Ron Kruger of Ron Carter Jeep in Alvin gave us 5-star service. We scheduled a time and when we walked in, he had the vehicle of interest prepped and ready to drive. He gave us a better price than anyone else in town. He even gave us a great deal on a trade-in. At every step of the way, he treated us very well and saved us time and money. Mr. Kruger is an outstanding, honest salesman and his dealership is absolutely top notch. I highly recommend them.

I found a 2019 Dodge charger on CarGurus. When I got there a sells person named Cole assisted me. The car that I was looking at had been sold but he brought me the next best thing in my price range. He was nice, he was not Pushy and knew his stuff. I test drove the car and loved it. I submitted my application and waited to hear from Them. Cole stayed in touch and let me know what was going on. I did not like the interest rate or the payments that they presented to me the first time and he told me that they would try to find something better. He called me the next day with another finance options and it was OK. My fiancé asked him to try again one more time he had no problem with that and came back the third time with the right Interest rate and monthly payment. We came out and Cole went over the car again with me and then I went to the finance office to go over my paperwork. The interest rate was actually lower then what Cole told me, we were even more happy. The finance guy went over everything, answered all of our questions and it was done. I am extremely pleased at the sales part of Ron Carter and the finance office. We were very pleased and I definitely recommend Ron Carter of Alvin .

I took my truck in to have warranty work done two weeks ago, after running the truck for a week the truck broke down because the service mechanic left a deep socket in the engine compartment and it wedged into the fan pulley and busted the belt. they picked up the truck and replaced the belt. I asked if they could drop off the truck at my house , and i was told they didnt have the man power to do so... Its there fault the truck is there, talk about trying to make it right. PS. had to take the truck back after the first time i received it , because oil was leaking out of the differentials and the tire sensor wasnt fixed . Very bad service

Joe Ricklefsen was my Sales Consultant at Ron Carter use cars. I must say he made my long stay to purchase a car as Pleasant as possible. He offered me half of his lunch from Kelleys restaurant I refused but later I ate a bag of chips he gave me . Later when I return with my new car he very welling helped me to figure out my door locks . I would just like to say thank you Joe you’re a great salesman .

I was extremely impressed by the level of services here. I called ahead about a vehicle priced online, and wanted to know if the prices were legitimate and would be offered if I made the trip to Alvin, TX. I was disappointed. The sales professional, Travis, worked with us and showed note worthy hospitality when viewing the vehicle. Everyone was respectable, and I left with a beautiful looking jeep for a great price.

I came to Ron Carter to look for a car. Didnt know what I wanted. Adrian Castaneda is Awesome. I was afraid to be followed around by sales guy. Not at all!! Adrian listened to what I wanted & showed me the cars that fit my desires! Helpful, knowledgable, friendly are a few things. Not pushy at all. Was a pleasure buying a car here. Finance guy Daniel also Great! They went out of their way to take care of me! I highly recommend Adrian. Hes the best! 2018 Dodge Journey is what I got. Great car, great place!

We had set up an appointment online . When we arrived on time and we were not greeted. We walked inside the office looking for the person who we thought we had the appoint with, only to find out that that lady only sets up the appointments. When we finally figured out who our appointment was with she had 2 other people still waiting for her to talk to them. We decided to go ahead and walk the lot to look at the cars we had on our list. We walked the entire lot and marked all the cars we had on our list off. When we got to the end of the lot a gentleman came out to see if we needed help. After finding out that we had set up an appointment online he said he could not help us because he didnt want to do all the work and the other lady get all the credit since we had the appointment with her. We continued to walk the lot when another gentleman came out and talked to us. We told him we had set up an appointment online but the lady was busy. He still walked with us and tried to answer any questions he had. When we walked back to the other side of the lot the lady told us she had not forgotten about us but she was overwhelmed and would have someone else help us. When bryon came over he explained to us that he was about to leave to go home but he took us for a test drive. We found the car we liked and decided to buy it. We were able to drive home in the car we picked but was told to come back tomorrow to has it washed and detailed and to give them our down payment. When tomorrow came we were unable to go because noone that would be able to help us was going to be there. So we went the following day. My husband waited for 2 hours for just a car wash. We were also told we would be getting a second key but apparently they didnt have one so now we are waiting for a key to be made but noone has even called us to set up an appointment to have the key made. If I had to buy a car all over again i would definitely not use ron Carter. I love my vehicle but the customer service was definitely lacking. And now as of 5/26 we are told the we will have to buy the key if we want it.

We received excellent service from Mr Louis Whitecotton. He found my son and his wife a great car with low miles. He also helped my husband find an excellent work car. The process was easy and quick and we were out of there in about an hour because he already had everything prepared. Wonderful service!

Great service center! I usually work with Rey who is always thorough and professional. Today I met Marcus in the oil change lane and he was the same. This I why I drive 30-40 minutes for service when I have 3 other Ram dealers who are closer.

I set up an appointment and the salesperson was there to meet me on time. All steps of the process were done in a timely fashion. After all the transactions were completed the explanation of all the car functions were done to our satisfaction.

Sales person Cole was great, I told him what I wanted for the deal and he made it happen. Service is the reason I cannot leave 5 stars. Had an item they had to address, truck was ready as promised and fixed but with grease on the hood, fenders and steering wheel. Not what you want to happen to a 1 week old truck.

Devin was extremely helpful! I emailed on a Saturday afternoon and heard back immediately. He sent me additional photos of the vehicle, and answered the questions I had. After doing a lot of research online, but still not entirely sure what I was going to get, I went to the original Ron Carter and walked into the Ford dealership. Christian met us at the door while I was drooling over the Raptor out front. He was very patient and accommodating and let me see and drive a variety of vehicles until I found the one that I really liked. He made the experience a fairly easy one
