I have lived in these Apartments this time for a year. I knew this would be the best place to move in because they are affordable and big enough for me and my kids. It is in a safe area and close to stores. The apartment manager Becky goes above and beyond to help the tenants and is very friendly and straight forward. She really cares about the people who live here. The maintenance personnel are the best. Jason is always prompt and has been here since the first time lived in these apartments 10 years ago. He knows them like the back of his hands and is able to fix anything very quickly. Anytime I have called, they have fixed it before I got home from work and I have not had to call them often at all. The TDY apartments are the most cozy and you wont find another apartment complex that take good care of you. Never had any issues with neighbors. If you want a place to call home that affordable I would recommend enterprise. These are the best apartments in town.

I had a great time staying at these apartments for my long TDY. Becky was extremely helpful with anything I asked her to do for me. Late arrival.. no problem she had everything set up for me and was even available on her cell phone when I showed up at 9pm. When I lost my key after a trip back home, she had everything ready for me when I got back. They only charge for the days you stay there and the deposit is fully refundable. Fast internet, lots of TV channels and Free cleaning service once per week. Very quite place to sleep and study, it comes with everything you need to comfortably stay for extended period of time. It even has a gym and mail box for you set up. I am definitely coming back to stay there again.

We have lived here for over a year now. Our neighbors upstairs are quite loud, but that’s what we expect living in an apartment. I love that our three kiddos have friends to play with. The maintenance guys and Becky are incredibly welcoming and have definitely helped make Altus our home. Anytime we need something fixed, the maintenance guys are over here within the hour. We are so blessed to call this place home. We love our neighbors, and love the summer with the pool! This is a kid friendly, incredible community, and we are so happy to live here!

We stayed in one of the TDY apartments (2 BR 2B) for about a month while my husband completed training. We were very pleased with the accommodations, price, and overall experience. Becky, the office manager is just AMAZING. She went out of her way to make things easy for us and treated us like family. It is obvious that she really cares about her tenants and the military community. She discussed some updates that are coming soon including a new gym and a new outdoor play area for kids, which will be a great addition. If you are in Altus for TDY, this is a great option for your lodging. Its affordable, clean, friendly environment, and close to base. The only downside is that you have to provide your own linens, but we were able to purchase a bed in a bag at Walmart on clearance and a few cheap towels and it totally outweighed the cost of staying in a more expensive place. We were very pleased and would stay here again, for sure!

When my husband and I decided to downsize and retire we also decided we wanted to move to Altus and leave the country. We both lived on the farm all our lives. When we looked at apartments the Enterprise Square apartments on Tamarack Rd. was our choice. They are wonderful. They are spaced out and I have flower beds and a patio to hang baskets of flowers on. The maintenance is great all I have to do is call and they come to fix whatever the problem may be! No yard work and the grass is always mowed and beautiful. Very clean place and the swimming pool is great! We love it here and wouldnt move back to the country for anything! We would recommend it to anyone, The manager is wonderful and tries to take care of all our needs. It really is home to us.Clay Lynn and Barbara Moreau

When I moved from California, I needed accommodations quick for 6 months till my family would relocate to meet me. Rebecca and the staff were wonderful, the grounds crew were always cordial and the grounds kept to the highest standards of grooming. The apartment I got was in very good shape and clean when I moved in and held up well for the duration of my stay. The appliances, plumbing, power and cable never gave me any problems, they always worked without fail unless a storm came through and knocked power offline and even that was not problematic and very short periods. I thank the Enterprise Apartment Staff from the bottom of my heart, they helped me get through a period in my life that was disorienting for me due to being away from my family for the longest period in our 35 year marriage, for this I am truly grateful. I highly recommend this facility and staff, especially for short term assignments. Should I ever need an apartment in this area again, I will most certainly make Enterprise Apartments and TDY my FIRST call.Thank you for EVERYTHING, I genuinely appreciate you.Be well and best wishes.Respectfully,Dave BlackCloud MendezFlight Simulation TechnicianC17 Aircrew Training Systems

I lived here from November 2014 until May 2016. Initially the apartment wasnt ready when they said it was going to be ready, and no one bothered to tell me until I called to verify when I was booking movers. The apartment had been cleaned, but was still old and dumpy. Supposedly it is inspected by maintenance before move in, but clearly they do not check to see if everything is working. Within the first six months, my water heater needed replacing, a ceiling fan came out of the ceiling twice in the master bedroom, and the air conditioner needed to be fixed (which they said they could not do until temperatures were above 72 degrees, or something like that). In the summer, the apartment did not get below 80 degrees, and although I complained several times, they insisted it was a normal temperature for the weather. We had wasps swarming around our door, and several mysteriously showed up inside the apartment (not through the front door). I told management (and told them I suspected a nest nearby), but all they did was spray the wasps by my door one time. We lived on a second floor apartment, and during any wind or rain, the wind blew through doors and windows like the place was about to fall apart. The floor tile was made of cheap material, and several cracked after normal use, leaving sharp pieces in several places. I had two leaks in my ceiling, and one improved slightly after it was supposedly fixed. After living there almost a year and a half (with the same dog), I went to the office to pay my rent, and the manager told me she had several complaints about my dog being aggressive, and that maintenance couldnt get in my apartment if there was an emergency because they were afraid of her (Apparently that was suddenly a concern, and if they had just asked me, I could have told them that anytime I was gone, she was kept in her kennel.), and that my dog couldnt stay anymore. They expected me to somehow move her immediately. I explained to the manager that I had nowhere to move her, and I got her to agree to give me 30 days time if I kept a muzzle on her. My dog does bark at other dogs (no more than most of them bark at her, they just happened to be small dogs), but she is never off leash, and I always picked up after her. I also had several other off leash smaller dogs charge my dog and me (dogs are supposed to be kept on leash at all times). The older maintenance guy had a yappy dauschund that he regularly let out off leash, the guy above him had a yappy white chihuahua that was always off leash, and the couple that lived down and across from me had a dog they took out off leash. There was routinely small dog poop littered around the apartment grounds. I am a single mom with two kids (my son is special needs), and the issue with the dog was particularly upsetting to my son. I was surprised at how easily I was dismissed (without warning) after living there for that amount of time and not causing problems. Dont live here, especially if you have a big dog. MY RESPONSE ABOUT OWNER COMMENT: As I previously stated, I went to management and maintenance with my concerns, and no one bothered to do anything other than the bare minimum, or nothing at all. I know I signed the agreement about the dog, but I must have expected too much when I thought after almost a year and a half of living there, that I would be given either a warning first, or so many days to move out (as many other apartments do). Who can move their dog the next day? I was only given thirty days after I went back (a few days after the notice) and asked if I could have thirty days IF I kept a muzzle on her. It was not given as an option until I asked. My dog acted like the other dogs at the apartment, but the other dogs happened to be smaller. And my dog was never off leash, as many were without repercussions. But that doesnt change the fact that the apartments are dumpy and need an overhaul, especially with insulation and air conditioning.

I lived at Enterprise Square from November of 2013 to November 2014. The management changed when I first moved in. I love the place. They have maintenance personnel that live on the property and things get fixed right away. I never had any emergency repair needed but they do fix things on the weekends when necessary. The complex is conveniently located close to shopping and Altus AFB. Lots of military personnel live here, many retired persons, and Altus LEO. They are pet-friendly, and they dont let riff-raff stay here. This is an excellent complex to live in; feels like a community. Later: please disregard the few who took time to write novel about their two-star stay at Enterprise Square.

Stayed for 5 Months, Late April 2016- Late September 2016It was nice to have a 2b/2ba apartment compared to a hotel room, but they do not seem to be very well made and even with the extras, certainly not worth the $1800 we paid. While we lived there we had the water heater leak from our neighbors apartment into ours, our upstairs neighbors toilet leaked and made a big hole in our ceiling that also stunk up the whole bathroom every time his toilet was used (even after maintenance patched up the hole), and somehow we always had bugs getting inside; and those are just the issues that we experienced. The apartment did have an updated master shower so that was nice, but the walls/doors all over the apartment were beaten up and you could tell where holes were poorly patched/just painted over and nails werent fully removed; not a huge problem since we were there for only a few months, but its still tacky and does not look like an $1100+ apartment (furnished apartment cost). The walls are also paper thin. We could hear almost every thing our upstairs neighbor did and if I was sitting at our dining table I could hear conversations my other neighbor was having through our walls. As far as the extras included in our rent, those were very spotty. Our TV programs would pixelate and freeze on us often and our internet was always giving us problems. Usually itd go out for just a few minutes/hours, but there were a handful of times when it went out for a day or more. The cleaning lady was very nice, but there were a couple of times when she didnt show up and when she did sometimes she did an awesome job, sometimes she didnt. The utilities were our biggest complaint. Included in our rent was $330 to pay for gas and electricity, which youd think is more than enough for a 1000 square foot apartment, but apparently not. One month while we were there everyone in the complex, including all the TDY students, went over their allowance. We ended up having to pay ESA for going over, even though we kept our apartment on 75 during the day and 72 at night daily and it wasnt even the hottest month we were there (apparently the utility company hikes up prices from time to time in the whole town). After asking Becky why our unused allowance from prior months wasnt rolled over to cover the overage, we were informed that her bosses dont think its worth it to hire someone to keep up with it. That did not sit well with my husband or any of the other TDYers we knew; especially considering that 1) there were services we were paying for that we were not getting at times (internet, cleaning, tv, covered parking) and 2) all the other months we never used all of our utility allowance so what did they do with that money we were overpaying them?! We paid $450+ more for a furnished apartment than permanent tenants just because we were TDY so I dont see why they cant hire someone to deal with utility rollovers so tenants dont have to pay out-of-pocket.Another issue we came across was that the pet deposit was non-refundable. When we signed the lease it did state on there that it is non-refundable, but since I have literally never lived anywhere that it wasnt refundable I didnt even think to look at that and it was not mentioned on the phone when I was booking the apartment for us before we arrived. Just a heads up for those who have pets and, like me, dont think to make sure the deposit is refundable.Overall this is a decent place to stay if you want more than a single room to live in. I think the manager and the maintenance guys are great and they keep the area very well kept, but its the higher managements business practices that I do not agree with. The apartments are nothing fancy and can certainly use a facelift, but they are close to base and WalMart. I am not trying to scare people off from living here, I just want them to hear about my experience so they can make a more informed decision than I did. If I had known everything I do now I would have tried harder to find somewhere else to live for those 5 months.

As others had reviewed this place, I wish I would have taken those reviews to heart. We only lived here for 19 days! This is a terrible place to stay; its the absolute worst experience Ive ever had with renting. If you are going to stay here, be sure to get your correspondence in writing; if they give you a verbal agreement over the phone, its very likely that they are doing so just to get you in.Lets talk about the overall condition of the place (ATROCIOUS). When you move in, expect it to be dirty (no steam clean, and likely not even vacuumed). The floors are really old, so even if you walk on your tip-toes, youll here squeaking. The door to the patio was broken, and the thing to lock it looked like a makeshift latch (I had to put a piece of wood behind it to wedge it closed. With how old everything is, when it gets the slightest bit windy, youll feel the wind blowing through the windows and doors; everything will rattle, and it practically sounds like the place could fall apart any minute. We lived in 82F, the apartment was really not in great shape. Dont expect any neighborly conversation from the neighbor downstairs either; saying good morning may get you an angry response. So onto the business side, as I said, get everything in email at the very least even after a phone call. We traveled from CA to NJ and finally to Altus for military TDY with our pets. When we arrived, verbal agreements changed quickly; the leasing employee had given the ok on the pet situation previously, only to find out that MGMT was not aware of it. It practically felt like a scam, I paid a $300 deposit, and also a $600 pet deposit and received ZERO back for. How do you as an agent of the apartment not inform MGMT of the pet situation? After constant harassment after being there for only a week (being essentially threathened by the manager to have one of our pets out immediately, constantly being harassed by the old lady downstairs), we made the decision to leave this place. Its not comfortable to go to work while leaving your wife at home in this type of place. With the lack of communication between the leasing agent and the manager, you would think that they would issue a refund of the pet deposit in good faith; especially, because they claim to be military friendly. They arent, they are money friendly; I had base legal call and the manager still wouldnt budge on at least returning a portion of the money in good faith. Remember, we only stayed 19 days. On my final out, I walked into the full office, and asked for a final walk through; they just said we trust you; we I dont trust you guys, and so I demanded a walk-through. Seriously, nobody wants to work here, but they place will gladly take your money. If you are anyone looking for a place, look elsewhere. If you are military on TDY, then Id go somewhere else; this place isnt even cheap (theyve raised their corporate TDY rate to get the most from you). The amenities such as Wi-Fi and cable, are not worth it. The Wi-Fi is only for 3 items, so if you are married, think (2 laptops, smartphones, PDAs, etc) about it, it doesnt cut it. The internet is so slow, you wont be able to watch movies, and if you are doing things like Masters classes which require timed exams, expect to be kicked off-line a few times (I lost nearly 10 minutes on my exam because the internet would boot me off).Long post, but this is only the tip of the iceberg, I hope it helps in your decision of where to live. There is a Rent-A-Center down the street, so you can really live anywhere and just furnish it yourself (because with the rate here for a furnished apartment is priced well above market value). I believe Cable One is the company here, you can coordinate that yourself as well. Dont fall into the convenience trap and lies that I did.If your unit would approve, I recommend staying in a hotel. The Hampton Inn is pet friendly, and the staff is always polite and inviting.
