Pressured into their Ultimate Package as we were told that would be the only thing that would solve our problem of mice entering the home. This package cost $1250.80 and we were told it had a 2 year warranty. In reality, it is a recurring program that bills 200 dollars yearly in addition to what we already paid. The terms and conditions of the contract (mailed to us after the work was done) shows there is no warranty and Terminix is basically not liable for any other instances of the pest.They came and did very poor quality work. Took over a week to get contact back from them and Douglas Wolfe. He came back a second time and did more work. He handed us glue boards and told us to put them up ourselves. Terminix is the expert we are paying, so why are we putting the traps up? We already had glue traps we bough ourselves from Home Depot as Terminix did not do anything the first time they were here.Overall, this experience was extremely poor and is a predatory business practice.

Put in a service request online after catching 2 mice in traps on our own due to still having evidence of mice activity. Terminix sent inspector James Lightner, who went all throughout the house saying, just doing as bug guys do. Then when I needed to go to a work meeting, he sold my fiance a nearly $1300 Ultimate Protection Package and Exclusion Service stating it would solve the mice problem and had a 2 year warranty. Turns out the Ultimate package is a re-occurring policy and does NOT have a 2 year warranty.The next day Douglas Wolfe came out to perform the work. He put some copper mesh in a few spots, put caulking over caulking that already existed (I just did it in April when we moved in), handed my fiance a receipt and walked away. During my lunch break, I went and inspected the work with my fiance. We were astonished so little was done and there was still huge open holes not sealed. Additionally, they did not address the wood chipping spot that we believed the mice were entering at. My fiance immediately called both James and Douglas and no response was received for nearly 3 days. We submitted a better business bureau complaint and only then did Douglas Wolfe call us back asking what the problem was.In the meantime, we caught another mouse in our own traps and there were more wood chips where we thought the mice were entering. Douglas Wolfe came for the second time and my fiance showed him where the remaining huge holes were. He apologized for missing them and added more copper mesh to seal them over. Then he handed her glue boards and told her to put them up herself. Im sorry but thats not service. We were already buying our own traps that were catching mice. We hired Terminix to assist us in eradicating the problem beyond what we could do.Then we caught a fourth mouse in our own traps, found more wood chips, and updated our better business bureau complaint. Douglas Wolfe came to our house a third time and was angry and unprofessional, asking what the heck our problem was. My fiance showed him the spots where he missed adding copper mesh and showed him the sloppy caulking work. He stated the copper mesh must have fallen out or that we took it out. Absolutely unprofessional, especially since its been missing from the first visit when I stuck my own hand up the siding joint and identified it wasnt there. He put in the copper mesh and left.Now we have rodent noises in the walls and evidence that they have recently been in our hallway and basement. I have a video with the noises that I am actively hearing. It has been 28 days since Douglas Wolfes work, and we are having a growing problem instead of it being solved for $1300.

Thank goodness for this business!! We had a yellow jacket hive in our house and needed someone ASAP to help. Someone was sent out the same day I called and the next morning I had to call and ask someone to come out and spray even though they weren’t scheduled to come for a few more days. Someone came out that day and sprayed! My husband filled the holes and we haven’t seen a bee in here since. Everyone I communicated with through the whole process was so nice

Called Terminex in Scranton Pa for a family member who had a flea infestation who lives in PA. I called from Florida to pay for the service next day which would have been today. They gave me a time of between 2-4. They never showed. I called to find out why and they told me that whoever answered the door told them to come back next week. The family member was home all day because of a recent surgery and her kids were at school so obviously the tech lied. I paid 317.00 for a one time treatment because her and her youngest child are allergic to anything that bites. They told me they couldn’t get another tech out there until Thursday of next week. That was unacceptable. First of all the tech that was supposed to be there never showed up and I paid a lot for next day service of a one time treatment. Totally unprofessional!!! Took my business elsewhere.

Home service by Terminix has always been very professional and reliable. Ive been using this company for many years and am always glad to welcome my technician - Craig Buskirk - during our regularly scheduled treatments. He is always courteous, reliable, thorough, and willing to answer questions and check any items of concern I may have outside of the normal regimen. I have had occasion over the years to call in Terminix in-between scheduled visits for other concerns, and have always had quick and thorough action. Much appreciated. Thank you for taking care of my home for me!

I had the inspector out and was told they would be there the following day to start treatment. Its over a week later no has even came or called. I finally got ahold of the inspector on 2 days ago and he assured me someone would be here within 2 days and again that hasnt happened and Im unable to reach anyone. Horrible company. They got paid and then nothing

Guy came over to check out / treat my home, and was very rude. Made a , in my opinion , rude joke. Then complained about having to take his shoes off and the service he provided didn’t even work! Right after spraying the bees came back and the ants did too! Been on the phone all morning trying to get a refund for their terrible service and they are doing everything they can to not give our money back. I would NOT recommend. They do not guarantee customer satisfaction like they say. What a scam. Don’t waste your money on this company.

Terminix has made our home a bug free place to live in. When we do see a bug it’s dead. When we first moved to a very rural area in Pennsylvania and built our house there was every bug known to man along with bees to many to count. We went with Terminix with the hope they could cut back on the bugs and bees. They didn’t disappoint. It took several years to be bug and bee free but every year we saw progress. I want to give a thank you to Danielle in the Altoona Pennsylvania office for understanding my concerns and making my request happen. I also am very happy with my service representative Tony Mazzetti. He listens to my concerns and also friendly, curious, and very professional.

You need to educate your sales folks that knock on doors. They dont know pesticide products and act like they know more than you do about your own home. The girl was courteous and nice but she wasnt prepared to talk about pesticides. That will hurt your business...I was partially interested but after she didnt even know what the product solution I use was, I felt like they were just trying to make money and not solve any pest issues. This happens every summer, they get young people to knock on doors who do not know the business and expect you to trust them. No thanks.

Terminix offers a wide range of services. My tech, Walt, is friendly, helpful, and communicative. My home is in the woods, and flea and tick service, as well as mosquito service is pretty much a must have. Any issues that arise in-between service times are always addressed promptly. My only complaint is I wish the prices were a bit less expensive.

I have had Terminex come to my house for years. If I dad problems they come back to assess the situation. The rep is friendly and personable always.

Shady is right! I had to terminate my contract because they lied about servicing my home. They no-showed on my appointment for this quarter, so I had to reschedule. On the newly scheduled date, they never showed up again, but this time LIED about being there. How do I know this? I was home the entire time, there was no receipt left at my property, AND I have security camera footage which proves that they never serviced my property on that day. They argued with me and claimed that they were definitely here and offered to send someone out again - no apologies whatsoever. I terminated my contract then and there. They stated that Id be receiving a call from the local office to discuss receiving a refund for this quarter (payment for services never received).. I never got a call, but I did receive the refund, which shows me that they knew something was up, but didnt want to admit it. I do not recommend Terminix to anyone.

I had a bed bug infestation they came in and sprayed and put bed covers on and never came back for the 2 week check up and I called and they said they would call me the next day and they still never called and the bed bugs are back and I have a 6 month old baby ! I will be calling again tomorrow . And they can either come take care of it the way there supposed to do or they can pay me back the money I spent for the 90 days ! And I will contact the big office.

We have been using Terminix for many years! Terry has been our technician and we would not want anyone else! He is friendly, trustworthy, reliable, competent and he knows exactly what to do if we have any issues!

The technician was here when he said he would be. He did his job, was very nice, and he ensured that if we needed him to come back, all we had to do was call. We mostly had a yellow jacket problem, which is, as far as we can tell, fixed.

Claims my service was only for 30 days when I signed for 90. Still have the issues even after treatment! Manager refuses to call back! When I call to ask for a manager I’m told there not available and I can’t have there number to contact them myself because it’s a confidentiality issue!!!

We have been using Terminix for 4 yrs, they send technician Terry to rid our infested house of Ladybugs and other creepy crawlers. We are keeping Terminix, and hopefully Terry too, because of his Professionalism and Knowledge. Now bug free because of Terminix!

I called to use their services, and they hung up on me. She was MISERABLE on the phone, and I was having a hard time hearing her so she just gave up and hung up on me.

I did not sense a greedy attitude, unlike some other local pest control companies.Terminix keeps in touch with you from the beginning to after the end of service.My only suggestion to Terminix was to ask the service person to put plastic bottom covers on his shoes when they apply service inside the house.

My expectations are exceeded. Got a call the guy would be an hour earlier than the original time window, ok good, then got a text & tracking the driver alert & he was here an hour earlier it was great. Did a very good job. Still dealing with some stragglers in my living room now after he sprayed the living room interior & exterior. Overall pleasant experience will call & use again if needed. And to add to it, the pest guy noticed mudtubes of termites. So we scheduled termite service. The guys were here on time and did what they needed to do. I got 10 stations and they have gone to work already. So Im pleased. Im on a limited restricted budget. I hope theyll work with me in the future to keep the stations. Terrible service! Pick anyone but Terminix to do your work. Called on a Friday about bats in my soffit. Scheduled an appt for Saturday between 3-5pm. Guy calls at 9am like it was joke and he didn’t really seem to want to hold the appt. He shows up around 4 and says yea I don’t think we can do it. My boss won’t let us work on a steep pitched roof like that, but says he will talk to his boss and get back to me by tueday. Here we are two weeks later and no returned call. I think he was scared.

Showed up at unscheduled time, was told insulation from attic would be bagged in attic instead was carried through my hall and thrown out the window leaving debris behind in my bathroom, hallway, and on my roof, then left didnt show up again for 9 days. Worked a total of maybe 5 hours between 3 guys and charged us $4700.. go with a local company I wouldnt recommend them to anyone
