The recent renovations make the conference center look so much better. New wall covering, paint, carpet. New chairs in the ballroom nice, new black curtain for the main stage. Gone are the dated wood panels and burgundy color scheme. Much more modern looj and the LED lighted columns and ceiling lights are a fun and nice improvement. It will be much easier to decorate with a variety of colors that can go with the silver/gray/black colors. Fun splashes of color with modern art on the walls in the pre-convention area, too.

We saw the Bret Michaels concert here. We paid the VIP upgrade so we could have a table and no be crowded in. We paid an extra fee for this convenience.The venue staff was not monitoring the general admission attendees and after an hour we got tired of them coming into the VIP area and pushing their way through us.We had to compete with them and it was just nonsense. I let the staff know and she just shook her head and did nothing about it.If people are going to pay an upgrade like VIP or should absolutely be better monitored or dont bother.

Bankers Trust Lifestyles dinner. Love the convention staff here. Always give great service and make sure you have a great evening out with whatever the event is. Food is consistently fabulous every single time. Great for work events or weddings. You will make great memories here.

Was there for a fundraising event and was done very professionally.

It was a great concert. The drink prices were high. I wish the chairs were on risers. For the most part you could see pretty good. Overall it was great. Would try them again. Enjoy.

Staff was very courteous and the catered food was surprisingly delicious and clean. It is basically a giant room with colored lights on the ceiling but its a nice space for large gatherings. Plus, after the conference/fundraiser youre at, you can just go up a floor afterward and try to make back the money you just gave away. In which case youll probably lose double or triple what you thought you would, but at least you tried.

Large rooms were nice sone of the smaller rooms were very small. Signage could be better. Meals were good but didnt know there was a drink choice until after the meal.

Today is my fifth convention here but my first review. The facilities themselves are very nice and conducive to conferences. Seating is comfortable, bathrooms are clean, and a hotel is onsite. The food is atrocious. Today was a great looking salad but the only option for dressing was ranch (I am lactose intolerant). I asked a staff member and he could not accommodate that. This ranch has been the case EVERY time and I ask for a substitute every time and have never received it. Lunch was over cooked rice pilaf, a undercooked vegetable, and sliced pork with onions that were nearly raw or the option of dry seemingly seasoned chicken but flavorless. Dessert was cookies which were fine. The star of the plate was the roll which is not made in house. There is no bar today but at previous open bar catered events the drinks are really watered down. The bar in the hotel is awesome though and the bartenders are great. Banquet staff are fine.

Great location for convention. Home is local but hotel on site is great for out of towners. Easy access to casino for evening entertainment. Meals we had at convention were very good. Plenty of restrooms. Facility has latest IT equipment for video, digital photo slideshows, and audio. Great location off I-80 and I-35. Plenty of parking.

Had a surprisingly good meal at a recent banquet here. I am always impressed when a place can serve a hundred people all at once a hot fresh and tasty meal. The facilities are very nice. If you need a place to host an event you might consider this place, as surprising as it might be to be to find it attached to a horse track and casino.

Great place to hold any conventional meetings with adulting activities and close to adventureland for family activities if traveling together. Great food and seclusion from the main casino itself.

Its a casino. Most of the time you go home with less and why have no enclosed no smoking area with smoking in other room. Buffet is good food with good selections

While the entrance was under construction I rate this a 4. Otherwise the event venue serves the purpose well. Food was good and included a vegetarian option when attendees requested.

The Central Academy 30th Anniversary Alumni banquet was held here in August of 2014. It is a good venue with plenty of space for a couple hundred people. The food was great and the service was satisfactory. Would go to an event here again.

It started out looking nice on Sunday. Then Monday they tore down walls and were putting up new ones. Horrible noise during conference. By the time we left Wednesday place was a mess and looked horrible. Just check on construction plans when booking. It might be nice when they are done.
