If youre having a wedding reception in Altoona - this is the place for it! Vicky, the general manger, is absolutely incredible. She thinks of everything and is on top it throughout the entire wedding planning process. The venue itself is beautiful, historic, and clean. We gave Vicky all of our decorations the Thursday before the wedding, and she and her staff set-up everything and took it all down. We gave her over 30 dozens of cookies and she made a beautiful cookie table (and we literally just gave her cookies and the cookie table sign)! Well worth the money. The catering service (Snappy Chef) there is also phenomenal. People moved through our buffet line incredibly quickly and the food was delicious. Really the best place for wedding receptions in the area!! Highly recommend.

I had a birthday bash for my Husband in the Grand Pavilion. The food was phenomenal and the wait staff was there for anything that was needed. Just leave it in Vickys hands and it will be beyond your expectations! Great Job Everyone!

Such a beautiful place! We traveled from Texas for a wedding. And it was gorgeous! Completely beautiful reception here. The staff were like ninjas! Lol. They swoop in and clear the tables so quick you almost didn’t notice them. They were all so kind and helpful. Was an amazing evening!

Very disappointing. We loved coming here in the past for all the old classic rides. They are all removed. They kept the 2 coasters but were closed. Never will go back. So sad.

If you have a wedding here be prepared to have bouncers. Secret service types with earpiece. Kicking people out if they stare too long. They wanted to search a womans bag because they thought she brought a flask. It was a bottle for her baby. I wish I was joking.

Staff was extra nice and helpful

Had my wedding reception here. They are super friendly, efficient, and know how to keep everyone cared for. We had a guest fall ill during our event and their staff handled it amazingly and filled us in the next day. We dropped off our decorations and picked them up the next day. No work! Our grandparents and parents were permitted to enter before everyone else so they could view the room and get settled in seats before others rushed around them. The food was delicious. Ive been to other events here and theyve been similar, friendly staff and great food

This place sucked. The management was rude and obnoxious. They like to pretend that they are the secret service and have the place on lock down. And dont you dare let your event go 2-3 minutes over the allowed time because they will be quick to tell you about it. I think this place is secretly run by Satan. This is the worst experience Ive ever had at an event. If you are planning on choosing this place for a function, I hope you get to read this review first.

Nice little reception location, just dont let the name fill you because there is sadly no casino. The event building is in the corner past some office buildings that give off the same feeling you get when entering an amusement park.

Upper management is a joke, and displays the same unfair, soft, weak attitude that’s allowed our city and school district to sink into the shell of what it once was.Don’t waste your money here this place is a joke. Food sucks, needs updated, and for the price, it’s almost disrespectful for the product you receive at the end of the day.

The Casino did the most incredible job ever for our daughter and son-in-laws wedding. Vicky and her staff are the most amazing wedding planners ever, which was a major reason we chose the Casino for our 250 guests. My husband and I (and our family members) had no worries the day of the wedding and could just enjoy every second of it. She arranged everything from the flower delivery and set up to the ordering of the special linens and the break down after we all left. My daughter came up with all kinds of ideas from Pinterest...and Vicky made nearly all of them happen with enthusiasm and class. And the FOOD was fabulous!! We did the buffet and got so many rave reviews from our family and friends. Thank you, Casino! You have fans for life!!
