Great steaks! Hansen Meat Co. is a stand alone butcher shop and retail meat store. They have a wide variety of bratwurst, flavored brats, fresh steaks, fresh chicken, and fresh pork. They also offer quite a few frozen, packaged meats.I found the service quick and friendly. The store is clean, well organized, and the signs are easy to read.They share a parking lot with The Old Bakery Brewing Company so look for the parking spaces with signs that say Parking for Customers of Hansen Meat Co. and youll be able to park conveniently.

Superb quality meats.Cost a bit more, but for special dates, splurge!

The place has decent options and I try to come here to support local but the customer service hasnt been the best when I go lately. The biggest downside they dont seem to familiar with their product as far as what items are seasoned with or an opinion on flavor when it comes to seasoned products.

Stopped in to pick up a Chuck roast. Very fresh roast a bit more than I wanted to spend but fresh cut and picked up some Dukes bakery buns there. Love them. I like the service I get. I had been searching for a good family owned butcher shop since I moved to the area. This one is the best! The staff was friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality meat.

Needed to get an unopened whole boneless ham sliced that we got as a gift for Xmas...Was told no they only slice their own meat. I would of been willing to pay something for this service but she was very short with me on the phone. I will probably never go there because of this. I found another business in town that was able to do this for me no problem.

Well to start, i should tell you that I’ve been all over the USA. And this has to be one of best meat companies, that I’ve had the pleasure to deal with. I work on river, on a tow boat. And they are the only company that i will get my meat and sliced cheese from. The habanero cheddar, is the bomb... and Mike, the butcher is very skilled at craft. If you work on the river. You should give them a try.I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed. One again thank you for another awesome order.

They have bacon sausage that tastes good. For some reason today they didnt have much of a selection to choose from. Prefer buying my meat from them as opposed to a grocery store.

I will say it’s a clean establishment. There was a male that checked us out. He was very rude. He didn’t acknowledge us whatsoever. He wouldn’t even tell us our total. On our departure, I sarcastically said Have a great day and thank you for your business. I contacted management about our visit. We were told that they are aware of this employee and have had previous complaints. So basically they know about this employee and nothing will been done.

Good meat and the people there are nice too. There are no trash cans or benches to sit on. Other than that. Is is a good place.

Best meat in town. I don’t buy meat at grocery stores anymore. The freshness of Hansens Meats will have you hooked!! I love their quality of meats and their service.

You have an employee that has messed up my order several times. I am a regular customer but I am sick and tired of getting the wrong stuff because this person doesnt listen or rather doesnt care to listen to my order. I have wasted at least $22.00 there because this person cuts the wrong meat or even the wrong cheese in the deli. They obviously dont like to shave meat by the way they act when I ask for it so I even asked for sliced and my order was STILL wrong. If there is a question about my order ask me so I dont end up with the wrong stuff that no one in my house will eat. They never repeat my order back to me. I used to like you guys and recommend your company but I just cant do that anymore. I will be going to Godfrey meat market and schnucks now because when I go to those places I feel like their customer service is on point. Very disappointing. It sucks that I have to cut you off because you are the closest to me. On the other hand, Im not gonna deal with the lack of customer service anymore and I would much rather drive a little farther for not only great customer service but to make sure I am getting exactly what I ordered.Sincerely,A very disappointed former customer
