I cannot say enough about the amazing care I received from Alton Aspen Dental. I knew going into this appointment I needed a lot of work done (witch I was pretty ashamed of to be honest) and the whole team made me feel really comfortable and relaxed throughout my entire visit. rather than focusing on my neglect, they focused on what I needed to do to save my smile. I left feeling informed and optimistic about getting my smile back. i cannot recommend this particular team enough. THANK YOU AGAIN ALTON ASPEN!!!

The front desk workers are very friendly and welcoming. The x Ray technicians are really good and careful to not hurt you while taking images. Lauren was great at explaining my gum and teeth health. Dr. Dunn was great at explaining what was causing the tooth pain while also showing X-rays. Tyler did awesome cleaning my teeth and I felt so much better along with comfortable the whole time. Dr. Dunn and the other dentist did great pulling my four wisdom teeth. The hygienist worked great with the dentist. Everyone made sure I was comfortable. They truly all care about the patients. Nikki the office manager was amazing at showing me what my insurance covered and quoting me how much my treatment would cost. Along with offering financing. Nikki is great at her job and very welcoming. I enjoyed my two past experiences here and am glad to be a patient here.

Went to Aspen for a routine cleaning. After taking 39 different x-rays, they wanted to charge me $4000 for dental work. I went to a different dentist and was told that my teeth were fine. Just had some tartar build up and was cleaned. Will NEVER go back to a place where they care about the up-sale instead of your health!

The dental team was very helpful. I have periodontal disease and not only were they very informative about what was going on, they were also very honest with a feasible treatment plan.

The worst service I have ever had. I want in for a broken tooth. I have been in pain for 2 months now. They told me that they had to contact my insurance company before setting appointment. I kept calling to see if this was done, they blamed the insurance. After about a month of complaining they apologized and said it was their mistake then set me up for an appointment. The night before the appoint I received a message that they were cancelling. I called to find out why and they first said because I didnt confirm the appointment. I showed them the confirmation text, then they said the Dr. Had a family emergency and would be out for the rest of the month. They then gave me a referral to another dentist who was booked up for a few weeks. I called. Aspen again and asked if they could just pull the tooth, so they set me up with an appointment at another one of their locations. I received a text messages to confirm appointment and confirmed. I also received a call asking if I wanted to come in early and I told them I couldnt because of work. They said they would see me at my scheduled appointment. When I arrived for my appointment they said I have no appointment booked and the Dr wasnt even there. This is outrageous. I will never use them again.

I had a dental emergency. The staff was very quick to get me in. They are all incredibly kind and caring. Each team member went out of their way to provide as much comfort as they could. Drs Sullivan, Patel, and Man were thorough and adjusted their schedules in order to help me. There will never be adequate words to address the entire Team. Everyone of them is knowledgeable and caring.

$4000 for upper dentures for my wife and had to take them back 4 times in the last 4 years because of the teeth broke off. Good thing we had a warranty. Daughter had a crown put on there and it came off within 6 months.

THIS IS YOUR BEST DENTIST!!!! Im new to the area and had an emergency that left me calling every dental clinic I could find in the area with nobody wanting to help me. Eventually I called Aspen Dental and was able to get a same day appointment without feeling like I was an inconvenience to their schedule. Everyone was extremely welcoming, I was given full x-rays on the spot and all of my questions were answered with different treatment options. Understanding, caring and compassionate doesnt even begin to accurately describe the attitude towards my care. I was lost, in severe pain, and was greeted with more than what I had hoped for. I will never go anywhere else, this entire practice has my trust. From Alisha taking care of me from the beginning, to Nikki going over my options in more detail, to the skilled hands of Dr. Mann... I felt more like I was being treated by my own family, not rushed through just to get to the next appointment as Ive felt at other dental practices. This truly is the best dentist Ive ever encountered in my entire life. Thank yall so very much!!!

This office is great really clean and there were COVID precautions taken everyone wore masks and Dr Davis and Dr Favor were awesome they took excellent care of my husband and we were in and out of the office extremely fast after have 2 teeth extracted. Ericka the DA was extremely kind and caring this made our experience very pleasant and Nikki the office manager I could never thank her enough for getting us an appointment on short notice we will never leave this office you guys rock and we are forever grateful thank you guys soooo much!!!!!!!!🥰

The staff is friendly, but i should of listen to other reviews before making an appointment here. I feel like all they do is try to make money off of you and not truly do what’s best for you. Never in my 32 years of life have i been told i need braces, yet they were trying to say i need their version of Invisalign “motto” because my teeth are cricked. (They definitely aren’t what so ever btw!) along with saying i need to have my fillings replaced and two more added (trying to show me the cavities yet i didn’t see a single “black spot” they tried pointing out. You could definitely tell they just wanna sell you stuff and make money i felt very uncomfortable there. The only person i felt comfortable around was the girl who did my x-rays, but i think she was new or training or something. Wouldn’t recommend, in fact, I’m going to go spend more money to get a second opinion else where verse the $4,000 bill they quoted me. (Which seems to be about the same price everyone else has complained about, i guess everyone that goes there needs motto lol)

I was told I needed dentures. Something I have known for about 16 years. I went to Aspen dental after seeing their denture packages. I was met and spoke to with respect and no judgement. After deciding to move forward and just do my top denture first, Aspen dental worked very quickly to get my financial situation controlled and affordable for me. Today I had the remaining 7 teeth extracted by a dentist. His name was Dr. Davis and he was absolutely amazing. I don’t do well with dentist, as I was traumatized at a very young age. He was very patient with me and took breaks when I felt I needed too. He was not rushed and did not get frustrated with me at all needing as many breaks as I did. He spoke very gently to me and explained every single thing he was doing. He made me so comfortable and I can not thank him enough. Dr Davis, you are amazing at what you do!! I finally got my smile back today and I couldn’t be any more grateful.

I liked the dental assistant that cleaned my teeth but other than that they keep trying to over charge me for things without my permission. The front desk person didn’t ask me if I wanted a optional screening was just going to charge me for it. The dentist heavily tried to push a $4000 expense on me even though I’ve been going there for years and no other dentist even mentioned I “needed it” like he said I did. Very uncomfortable experience.

My visit here is always enjoyable. The assistant Branna was very nice and gentle with x-rays. Lauren the hygienist was very nice and thorough and was able to clean my teeth same day! Doctor was nice and did a good job at explaining what work I needed completed. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve been waiting over a year now for Aspen Dental to straighten out an error created on their end regarding my Invisalign treatment. After getting a different person every visit, I have received different feedback regarding my trays and care for them. There is a lack of communication in this facility as a whole. My first set of visits, I received my trays as expected after completing use of previous set after every week. This treatment was only supposed to take up to 6 months to complete. During the process of coming into the office to receive my next repeated sets of trays after completion of previous ones, I asked what to do with trays after use, and current assistant at that time, told me to dispose of trays after use as I go. As I reached close to the later months of the process, and went back for following appointment, my tray for the top half of my teeth were ready for the next set to be fitted in, but the bottom set of trays for for my bottom teeth were not. At that visit, I was told that it may take longer for some patient’s teeth to shift over others, so I would need to keep wearing that current tray until the next one fit. I continued to wear same trays, and after weeks passed, I received call from the front desk asking me to come in for my retainer. I explained that my trays did not fit yet. So she asked when I thought would be the right time to come in. I said maybe a couple weeks. (I’m not a dentist.), So I received a new appointment to come in. Also, this is during the pandemic, so obvious delays, and overly exaggerated. The dentist asked if I liked the treatment so far. I let him know I did see results, until the last tray, that still didn’t fit, and I didn’t feel completing the process by getting a retainer ready before my last trays fit, made any sense. So the dentist said, I believe this one’s name is Dr.Alex, he was going to get me some new trays, and assistant re-scanned my teeth. She told me that it could take normally 2-3 weeks to receive tray, but due to pandemic, might take longer. I had been trying to get this last set of trays since January. I had been calling for status of shipment. First month passed, front desk explained after first set of calls that she was checking tracking, and would get back with me. I kept receiving this as the same response well over two months until after I called again, very concerned, and I was told my scans had been deleted out of the system, lost, and she would get in touch with Dr.Alex on the issue. So after that admission, there was a note that I had been assigned to that dentist, and trays were currently pending shipment. I finally received the last tray a couple weeks ago, and they didn’t fit. The trays I kept wearing were worn and broken. Each visit I received, I had to repeat what I was coming in for. I explained to that dentist, at the time what had been happening up to that current moment, from a couple weeks ago. He asked if I could try and fit the trays that had finally come in after months, one more time before I left, but they wouldn’t fit, after the inevitable re-scanning that took place, so due to this, I’m in another pending process waiting for current last tray to come in, so I can reach last step for retainer process. I called office June 21st to check on status, and front desk said trays weren’t there, they still had pair that didn’t fit, and had to explain why they had to ship again. I guess it takes two weeks to explain what happen, before submitting request. I called back and ask dentist if it’s worth continuing process, due to teeth possibly back to normal state. I decided to get Invisalign due to an overbite.She said she would get with me next visit to examine and schedule if continuing process is needed. I feel I’ve been given the runaround and put on the back burner throughout throughout this entire process.

Miranda greeted me when I came in. She’s a ray of sunshine! Love her! Alisha did my x-rays. She was absolutely adorable and sweet!Lauren was my hygienist and she explained everything so I knew exactly what was going on with my teeth. Dr Mann filled me in on the work he would be doing to correct my issues. And Nikki went over the pricing, assuring me that, no matter what my financial situation was like, they would work with me.I walked out with peace of mind and I’m actually looking forward to seeing them all again at my next appointment.

These people are life changers ! Lauren is the best dental hygienist ! She’s friendly, efficient and has a way of putting even the most hesitant patient at ease ! Dr. Alex is a fantastic dentist who will have your procedure finished before you even have time to be nervous ! The entire office is fantastic , I’d recommend to anyone !

Giving 4 stars because every day since my visit, I’ve recieved an email at 8 am asking to leave a review. EVERY. MORNING. My phone goes off- “buzz buzz! Leave us a review!” Let some people sleep in, not everyone works morning jobs. The other day I received an email asking for a review at 7:58 am. Absolutely annoying. So here’s your review. It was nothing special compared to my usual dentist. Just a regular dentist that was able to squeeze me in for a cleaning. Reasonable price and Lauren was really nice and great. They followed all CDC guidelines which was awesome. Bathroom wasn’t very clean. There were cups everywhere (floor, sink, and overflowing from the full trashcan..) but everywhere else seemed clean. And the X-ray girl immediately wiped things down as soon as we were done.Here’s your review. Please stop with the daily early morning emails.

Went here about pain and tooth extraction and left with no pain meds ! Called the next day with severe swelling and they sent me antibiotics( which I should have had when I left) Was told by business manager or whom ever I would get a call the next day( which never happened) They’re ALL about money.. Don’t waste your time, go where they care about you as a patient!

Out of town working and all of a sudden I caught major pain in one of my teeth and causing swelling. They got me in the same day I called and did a root canal on my tooth.DID NOT FEEL A THING!! My time was not valued at all, they have lost focus of what their job is. NO longer patients...dollar signs and untapped piggy banks walk through their doors...beware

They were very nice and courteous. The financial advisor, cant remember her name sorry, was incredibly nice and informative and suggested what she would do if she was in my shoes. The dentist was informative and told me things that a dentist in Missouri didnt feel the need to tell me at all.

Dentist, dental assistant & office manager were extremely nice, patient, helpful & showed a lot of compassion. Did not enjoy front lobby staff during check in. No privacy was provided as personal information was being voiced loudly throughout waiting room. Even though identification with current information & insurance cards were provided, check in receptionist still was not very professional in regards to HIPAA law for patients. ID & insurance card werent handed back as they were handed to check in staff. Cards were just laid down on counter & told there are your cards back. Initial encounter felt uncomfortable but once in back felt more private, and welcoming. Will go back again as the dentist, his assistants & the office manager were very kind and professional.

I was hesitant about paying out of pocket for the work I need done, but Nikki and Michelle did everything they could to help me and literally saved me thousands. The initial visit went well and the staff was great. I give it 3 stars because I should have given more information on their business practices. I made the appointment because I was due for my cleaning plus I’ve been having jaw pain. Figured I’d go in for my X-rays and cleaning and probably have to come back for whatever the issue was. They consider the first visit to be like a “meet and greet” and they go ahead and do the xrays. Now, I applaud them for doing this, but I wasn’t informed. I was expecting a cleaning. All in all, it was a 5 STAR visit. I really like the staff and their process. Not that I have dentist jitters, but some do and I can see how this may help ease any anxiety.

Never heard of this place before but nothing but good things to say about the staff. I had a cleaning with Leslie and she was amazing. Made the whole process easy and relaxing, and informing me on everything that was going on with my teeth. This location was close to home so not my normal dentist but, they welcome me in with open arms. Great service over all no complaints.

I am very appreciative of the care I was given especially with the emergency of the situation? However I was told on the phone payment plans where an option and then got there and had to apply for an unwanted credit card to get anything done. Everyone was pretty friendly especially Tara! And the other ladies I spoke with, I do however have to say when I first met the dentist himself to discuss what was needed his chair side manner was very rude. But by the end of my visit he did become more compassionate to my situation and less forward. So by the end of my visit I was pleased with my full experience!

I would recommend this loving and caring staff for anyone that needs dental work. I went in at 8 am on a saturday completely ashamed and embarassed about my broken tooth. Im sure the staff picked up on how emotionally distressing this was for me.By 11am I walked out with a restored temporary crown. Dr and his assistant Bridget were so amazing I walked out in tears not in pain just because I was so happy with the work and that they were able to take the time out of their already busy day to help me feel my best. Please never forget the importance of the work that you do and how it can positively impacts someones life. I will never forget this experience as long as I shall live.

It was a good experience (considering I was getting a wisdom tooth pulled). I made an appointment and was seen the very next day. The following day they pulled the tooth. Both visits were very quick and there wasnt any waiting around. The procedure itself only lasted about 3 minutes. I was also very happy with the cost. Overall a very good experience.

My office visit was great. Everyone was so professional and nice. Even the lady that was shadowing for a new position was very pleasant. My only complaint would be my appointment was at 4:45 pm and I wasnt seen until 5:20 pm.

This was my first visit to Aspen Dental. I chose this location because it was convenient to where I work. I couldnt have made a smarter choice. From the moment I walked in I was greeted warmly by the receptionist. She explained the paperwork I needed to complete. Without much of a wait, Tiffany took my ex-rays and got me situated for my exam. Lauren the dental hygienist came in and reviewed my ex-rays and recommended treatment plan. She was followed by Dr. Sullivan who thoroughly examined and explained all that I needed. Even when she delivered the bad news about the extractions I needed, she was comforting. The final member I met with was Nikki and she was able to get me all set up with future appointments and explained my insurance coverage. I spent maybe a couple of hours there for the entire process. Ive been going to dentist offices for a very long time and this was by far one the best experiences. There was only one other office in Florida that talked this high. I will be back for all of my follow up appointments. I highly recommend this office for any of your dental needs!!

This was a waist of 4300 cash, didnt get dentures same day, then we me and husband went back there several times sit for hours everytime, they made my dentures 3 times and u still cant wear them at all, I went in to just get dentures so they had no teeth to pull or nothing, ive ask for help over again and they tell me no they done tried 3 times so its not my fault if the dentist dont make them right enough to fit. Then my husband had 17 teeth pulled and got a denture set he couldnt wear they melted in the denture cup if water, so he goes back finally after months later and they give him him regular dentures he still cantbwrat. So canbdomeone explain to me why I had to pay.4300 cash and neither of us can wrar our dentures?? And why wont they want to make thete customers happy.

I did not appreciate the fact that I searched for a specific Provider and called to make an appointment with him, the staff gladly made the appointment. Good thing I reiterated that I was making an appointment to see the specific Provider, then I was told oh youll see someone, but theres no guarantee it will be him. Thats so unimpersonsl and false advertisement! I am utterly disappointed and have made an appointment elsewhere. If this is the way your office is setup, it needs to be explained to the patient. I didnt research and decide to see any other Dr. accept the Doctor I called to make an appointment with and thats who I expect to see. Im glad I didnt have this disappointment once I arrived, only because I QUESTIONED the staff! What is this this world continuing to come to.. you call to make an appointment with a specific Provider but you might actually see Cat in the Hat.

I had a dental emergency and was in horrible pain. Aspen got me in as their first appointment the day after I contacted them. Dr. Naglien was fantastic and so compassionate to my situation. All the ladies were equally wonderful and caring. I wish I could remember their names to shout them out. I’d definitely recommend Aspen in Alton and I’ll be going back regularly. Great job team.

Very dissatisfied with Aspen Dentals Alton location. My teeth are not jacked up so after being quoted the cost of a pair of breast implants for dental work, I requested all of my chart and left to get a second opinion & estimate. Only then was I told that Aspen will price match which confirmed my suspicion that I could get the same work done for less elsewhere.Word of advice: if your think your Aspen estimate is exorbitant REQUEST YOUR ENTIRE CHART, showing all they did, before you leave. Then double check, LOOK and make sure theyve given ALL of it to you. BTW, my 2nd opinion dentists estimate was far less. I went last night and everyone was wonderful. The front office took every COVID precaution.The hygienist was gentle, thorough, and funny. The dentist took great care and even ordered an extra x-ray at no charge to make sure a suspicious spot was not a cavity. I am irrationally afraid of dental visits and can honestly at that last night was a good experience.

Very helpful and very friendly people. made me feel comfortable since i really hate to wear dentures. they suggested that if i have any problems to come back and get them adjusted for free per their policy! i would return again if i had to..

I am a legal short time visitor from Africa..I developed some dental problems and Aspen Dental came in handy for me. The costs were really pocket friendly for me as I didnt have insurance.The staff were quite friendly and I understood every process. Am glad I visited Aspen Dental in Alton.

Vary nice people strait to the point was hopeing to get a tooth pulled that day but instead I have to have all my teeth pulled per x rays clean place of business and vary helpful with paperwork

I had a root canal started by one doctor and when I went back to finish root canal the equipment was not working. So I had to go back. When I went back the root canal was completed but the cap did not fit , so once again I had to reschedual. They put the temp back on and it does not fit right and Im in pain and it will take another 2 weeks to redo the permanent crown. This last time I had a different doctor who is still studying and could not do root canals the last time I went there for one. I have had billing issues and numerous other problems with this office. The staff is nice, the 2nd dentist is nice and the owner is cold , and uncareing.

Very nice and friendly staff! Very professional and easy to work with. Non-judgmental, and caring. My only complaint is that I’ve never waited less than 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment to be taken back to the back. Then it’s another minimum of 30 minutes to be seen. I’ve even been told to make sure I’m early and they could probably get me in earlier - not true. I know it’s busy, and I get that there are people with more desperate needs, but I made an appointment at that time for a reason.

I had to get all four of my wisdom teeth removed, they were all impacted and under the bone still. I needed to go under for it as I am terrified of needles. I had to get a IV and I appreciate how patient they were with me. I still had a panic attack, but there wasnt much they could do about that. They did try to distract me, but I was already past the point of that. The machine going off didnt really help either but that was because I have low blood pressure anyway and my heart beating as fast as it was didnt help I bet. They did a good job though and even if my mouth still hurts pretty bad I know it was worth it. Though the corners of my lips hurt really bad and I dont know why, it feels like they ripped them a little. That would be my only complaint though. I highly recommend them to anyone. Also a huge thank you to Dr. Gray at the Alton Aspen Dental I really appreciate your patience.

I called and confirmed the day before my appointment but then when I went in they said I didnt,but they did manage to get me and helped me out alot. I would recommend.

Had to get one tooth pulled...they push dentures. Wasnt happy that I only had one tooth pulled...so Dentist wasnt gentle at all.Today my jaw is swollen and hurts like hell.It doesnt hurt where tooth was extracted, just my entire left cheek and jaw.Definitely wont be going there for anything, and definitely wont recommend anyone else go there.They only care about making money, not their patients.

Dr. Chris and the staff are great. The wait can be a little long sometimes but that is only because they are striving for perfection. Really happy with the experience at the Alton office.

Erica the hygienist did a fantastic job. She always would explain what she was about to do. Her attention was solely on my teeth and not on the TV, like some other hygienists Ive had.I was told I needed a procedure done, but that the person who did the consults was busy and would call me later. Its been a couple of weeks now and Ive never received a phone call about it.

I think there is a big difference between informal/friendly and unprofessional and Aspen Dental is towards the unprofessional side. Its quite unnerving to hear the dental assistant express that she doesnt really know how something works while the dentist works on your mouth.Additionally, the office isnt the cleanest. The bib for the X- ray was filthy.Lastly, the comprehensive oral examination lasted maybe 5 minutes, and the dentist told me I only have one cavity, when I know for a fact (confirmed via another dentist months ago and through the tooth sensitivity I feel) that I have three.

I have been treated so well and professionally by all of the staff at Aspen in Alton. On a recent visit to have some work Done, Dr. Bell would not proceed because of a blood pressure issue. He was more concerned with my overall health than rushing through and doing the work. Instead, he rescheduled me for a later date and gave me some suggestions about his concerns. 2 weeks later he was able to do the work successfully. I feel like I am in good hands with Dr. Bell and all of the staff at Aspen Dental in Alton. Thank you!
