Much more pleased with the outcome of my car this time. They had to send it back through to get all of the bug juice off but were more than happy to do so. Did a pretty good job of cleaning up the inside as well.

I love going here to have my car cleaned inside + outside. Employees friendly + very hard workers. Several reasonable price selections to choose from. I always tip them accordingly as they really work their buns off regrdless of the weather.

Thought id try them again! what a mistake did not come close to getting all the dirt and bugs off of car & windshield, seem to be in a hurry to just get done. Even the windshield was still dirty!! thjey broke a piece of my air vent off, when i confronted them with it i was told to see one of 3 different teenagers who beth said was manager on duty. she could not call store manager at home as she was not allowed. still no call from a store manager everyone was indifferent about breaking my vent and no reply. I WOULD NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!! Seems they just dont care

They are all nice, but the boys need to clean a little better inside the car. $42 spent it should have been spotless.

As long as you buck it up for more then the bare minimum youll get a great wash... be aware that since there are so many younger people working there not many can drive a manual transmission, so theres that!😂😂😂😂... it is what we have for our weekend car!!

Was charged for more than what I asked for. I let it go just to get the best of what they offered and after a long wait still noticed nothing was wiped inside and vacuum wasnt done. Cost me $50

Didnt really do much inside the car. Still had to wipe stuff off the steering wheel that something had dripped when I got home. Little stuff like that I feel they should of seen clearly. Outside the car was great!

I go there all the time to get my car washed. They do a really great job.

Not impressed. This vehicle is used for work and whenever I take the dogs with me. It gets dirty. And I dont even try to keep it clean like I do my other car, so I dont expect perfection. But the attention to detail is simply not there at all. Ill find another business to go to next time. These pictures are after it was cleaned, and only 2 of the many I could have taken.

I went here thinking I was going to get a clean car. Which I didn’t I paid 40 for a wash and they then tell me I have to pay 21 more to clean the inside. Won’t be back I can go clean it myself for way cheaper and do a better job . What a waste of time and money won’t be back

These guys really took care of my car. They were real troopers and did a fantastic job. Id brought my car in because one of our cats was quite sick, took him to the vet, and while on route, he managed to pee in the carrier, and it leaked all over the leather seats. It was EVERYWHERE. But they cleaned it so well, the seats looked just-out-of-factory new!

Use to go through there and feel like car was perfect. Now I see issues before I even get in my car.

Always do a good job for a reasonable price. Will definitely be back. I buy the monthly deal every month. Only complaint is the workers dont wear masks. I do.

I have yet to get a clean car after using this companys services. Who has time to wait, or return after leaving, to ensure your car is washed right. I would not have gone back if my friend had not given me a gift certificate. What a waste of her money.

Went in for the 40 dollar butlers best wash. Left with a car that still had a dirty dash, door panels, center console and floor mats that were given 0 attention. All this paired with a 30 minute wait. I urge anyone looking for a car wash to go elsewhere as I think a 4 year old could do a better job.

I was there today about noon. You couldnt even tell they vacuumed the back of my SUV. See attached pictures. Also it was very dusty before bringing it in, and they did a very poor job of wiping it down. Very disappointed. I called when I got home, and sandy said to bring it back tomorrow and they will redo it. Im happy about that, and I will go back tomorrow. Unable to post pics.

Spent $125 here to get it cleaned on the inside. Long story short my friend puked in my car, they got pretty much the smell out and the stains out on the seat and floor board. They however didn’t do the ceiling or seat belt. Not highly disappointed but I paid quite a bit and didn’t receive the complete service.

For $40 it should include, at least, vacuuming the back seat area. One reason I went to them. I would expect to pay extra to clean my seats but to have to pay extra or TELL them to do anything to the back seat area???Pretty lame. They were very nice and what they did do, they did great job but to NOT vacuum back seat? WTH!?Very disappointed.

Our car needed an oil change and detailing. After looking at All the services they do, we decided I would take the car in Thursday August 6 2020 around 10:30ish (which by the way was Not busy nor was it a Hot day) for an Oil change (that came with a free wash) which we paid a little extra so the inside of tires would be cleaned from debri/brake dust etc and then followed by a hand wax. For the price they charge We were not happy with the DETAILING. I was told would take about an hour to detail when I called them and that is what the lady told me. I do have her name but I will not put it in this bad review. The Detailing only took 10 maybe 15 min. The glass still had Water Spots and so did the paint. The reason for the Hand wax was to get rid of Water marks. Anyhow the door jams/frame wasn’t wiped cleaned was dirty, still marks on front of car from dead bugs. Now we are looking elsewhere to get a Better detail job and will not take our hard earned money. The only person so far that was courteous is the Older African American who gives you ticket in car wash section.

I am giving only 2 stars because they put expiration dates on their gift certificates & I think its ridiculous, paid in cash & that cash didnt expire, so I dont understand why the cert should expire. I do understand businesses need to make money but I think this is unfair & when I called to ask about it the lady just said I dont think so, so maybe double check & make sure, that would have been nice as well. I will be taking my familys vehicles elsewhere from now on.

Got my car detailed, inside and out. My son had chocolate milk that unknowingly spilled a little on my back seat floor. After paying an ungodly amount of money to have this done (I had the floors and seats shampooed and a deodorizing treatment done, plus the outside. Basically charged the most expensive package for every option they offer). After picking my car up, I realize the one thing I specifically told them I was there for (chocolate milk on the floor)...there is still a bunch of it there. On top of that, there are still a ton of dead bugs on my front grill. It looks like I can just take a washcloth and clean it all off, if i wanted to, but that is what i paid them to do because I work almost 7 days per week and do not have time. I went back 2 days later when I had time after work and asked if they could fix it. The girl took down my name and number, understood my frustration, and said a manager would call me the following day when they came in. It is over a week later, and still no call. Apparently they think it is good business to just take peoples hard earned money and not provide the services paid for. Never again will I go there, nor refer anyone to them either. I also found 2 small dents on my driver side door by the handle that I know for a fact were not there before, but cannot prove that it came from them.

I have been using Auto Butler for 8+ years and prior to today was pleased with the service, but thought that it could be more reasonably priced.That being said, I had the oil changed in my car and got the Butlers best wash as well When I got home I realized that they hadnt done the wheels which was included. Because I was going out of town for work I didnt have time to return, it snowed for 2-3 days while I was in Virginia and when I returned home last night and went there today to see if they would honor their 48 hour policy the lady there had an attitude and said that the policy is a clean car for 48 hours It freaking snowed for more than 48 hours so how does that make sense Im sure that they werent open when it was snowing. Wont be returning with my Company vehicle or anything else and will not be recommending them any longer. Maybe be more specific about your 48 hour policy and maybe replace old woman with the attitude!

Service was good and the staff was friendly. A bit overpriced, back home (Texas) the works is about $25 here it was $36. Guys did a good vacuum job after I told him Id tip him well ($10 each)if he got most of the dog hair out, they did and I was happy.

Had this useless product put on my car for at least 6 years and the paint still faded. they do not back their product up at all. Stay clear of this company and find you a nice local company to detail your vehicle.

Broke something in my car while cleaning it

They get a 3 from me. I have been going here for years. They generally do good work. They often forget to clean my sunroof and the window is usually a little smeared but better than when I went in. After leaving after my last visit I noticed my passenger floor mat missing. I called them to get it back and they never returned my call. Nice to have a car less than a year old with less then 10k miles on it missing a floor mat.

This is the MOST improved business in my opinion. They used to not do a very good job but I make sure they know Im a tipper when I get there ;) and my car looks amazing. Its worth the extra 7 to 10 bucks tip to get a great job

$36 for the butlers best? If dirty floor mats and the dash not being wiped off is the best then it’s a rip-off. I feel that I would’ve come out just as well for the $17 wash. You’ll be lucky if I come back. If I do, I will inspect before I give another tip much less the $12 tip I gave this time. I could’ve hired a neighborhood kid to do a better job on the inside of my vehicle and saved some money. Very disappointed in the quality of service.

They did a great job inside and out. My daughters car had been vandalised we took the car there and because there was a layer of frost they got all the paint off. My grandson visiting from Ohio found these people now my family members from Ohio, Virginia, Texas and Southern Il. all make this a part of their trip. Another great job!!!! Thanks to all.

I hope they are giving us monthly credit card customers a credit on our accounts for the time they are closed. I dont want to pay for a service that Im not getting. They should automatically know to do that for their customers. Also, they do seem to rush wiping cars down.. I always have to go home and wipe the outside of my car off again. This place is very expensive and they could wipe things down better. They get careless cuz there always in a hurry. Im gonna start complaining if they dont step it up.

The only reason this car detailing place gets a one star from me is because I cant do zero. For butlers best I would have at least expected effort. My dashboard still had dust and residue, the inside door handles werent even touched, I had to scrub off a stain on the passenger side door frame, they didnt get into cleaning any crevices, and even the floors still have crumbs everywhere. If you want quick cheap work, this place is great. But if you had a clean car in mind, just skip this joke.

Purchased the highest priced wash. I have Weather Tech floor mats and they werent removed and cleaned. Truck was not as clean as I would have liked for the money. Wont be back.

I paid $38 for a deluxe car wash...and still have bug guts on the front of my car...back of the car not vaccumed...dash wiped down but nothing else...1st and last time I go here. Save your money...go to a place you can wash your own car. You will save money. Wish I could give zero stars.

Auto butler lost my back floor board mat. I have checked evertwhere and no where to be found. I called them about the matt and the staff said she checked the cameras and no on remove the well happened because it was in the car when i took the car in. But i geuss I am WITHOUT A MATT. I WILL NEVER GO AGAIN. THE FIRST TIME I HAD MY CARPETS HAD FLOOR BOARD FULL OF WATER AND CLEANING TOWEL LEFT IN MY CAR. I CALLED THEY DID NOT DO NOTHING. THANKS ALOT IT WILL COST ME 131.OO FOR ALL 4 MATTS BECAUSE THE FORD CO. DOES NOT SELL JUST ONE MATT THE GUY SAID.

Would not recommend going at night. Im tired of going and spending $20+ and still having to clean the inside of my car. Apparently they know they can get away with it at night because you wont see it until the next day. This has happened multiple times.

They did a good job yesterday, but Ive had wax jobs, 2 in 1 day than discovered they dont do the roofs. Then after a rain discovered other spots they missed.

When compared to similar services Auto Butler is really at the bottom of the list. I regularly use (bi-weekly sometimes) comparable drive through detailing services and its amazing how serious other places are about cleaning your car.They have guys cleaning your wheels by hand, using proper lint free drying towels and going over over each surface to make sure you leave with an incredibly clean and dry vehicle.Ive always been disappointed with Auto Butler. Every once in a while I think to myself lets give them another try as I recently did. Once again it was a bad experience.They use red towels to wipe down your vehicle leaving it streaked with little red fibers everywhere. They have never completely dried my vehicle so when I drive off soapy water streaks down the side leaving spots (not to be nitpicking but its a $40.00 wash - there should not be water spots). More than once Ive paid for something such as tire shine which did not get applied and I had to remind the supervisor to apply it. I have even watched one of the employees drop a towel on the ground and pick it up and use it again on someones vehicle.Auto Butler is really the only game in town of its kind until youre across the river. Without any real direct competition its easy to understand why theyre not stepping up their game like some of the other places.

Paid an extra $18 for the inside to be cleaned. Windows look worse than when I got there and I now have a black handprint on my white dashboard. It was supposed to be wiped on the inside and I don’t notice a difference. Truly wasted my money. I’ll get my oil changed here but I never want them to clean my car again.

I have never been satisfied with the so called services provided by this business. Smeared or completely untouched windows and poorly cleaned interior surfaces. If I pay premium fees for the auto detailing package, I dont expect to find visible signs of obvious haphazard cleaning. I can do better myself and Im a Senior citizen. If youre feeling lazy and just want your car washed, by all means, this is your place, but if you want detailing and the satisfaction that when you enter your vehicle it will look as though it has been professionally cleaned, I highly suggest you go elsewhere. I dont even go back for a regular car wash, they ALWAYS miss something!

I went just to get the exterior of my car washed. They did a good job. I went there several years ago and they did a good job with the inside of my former car. They do great detailing.

Super nice staff work hard for their money. You can get just a basic wash or a super Fancy one that does your wheels . All inside windows are washed. Dash and engine panel are cleaned/dusted. Everyone gets a hand dry, even after the huge fan drier. They wipe the drips and also wipe the car door inside top, side and bottom. They also have a complete detailing package. And they sell books of free car washes.

Very poor quality considering I got the wheel and tire package. Tire shine wasn’t applied to the entire tire on all 4, if i didn’t see them actually vacuum my truck I wouldn’t believe they did with what was left on my carpet and seats. Windows look like they weren’t touched. And nobody was friendly at all Not worth $26

All the windows inside my Encore looked clean untill U got in the sun driving all the windows were smeared very bad. It was all on the inside. I wasnt very happy. I even gave them a tip.

Decent job. Overpriced. Unclear on job to be done and got it wrong. No discount and upset with me for being unhappy I was overcharged by $16.

Good wash , get the basic though they will talk you into some crazy expensive wash.

My experience was poor, I previously had dogs in my car and specifically asked for their best package (butlers best with all the extra options $134.93) and if it would cover getting all of the hair out and they said yes, when I returned for my car it still had trash under the seats and excessive hair everywhere. So I called and they said bring it back, so I did and still there is hair under every seat, they did not even move my seats to clean. The service inside was good but the quality of work was poor and I will not recommend them or return.

Hidden gem in Alton. Not sure why I waited so long. My vehicles shined after going here and these workers really put in some serious effort in doing their job to make each and every car shine.

I paid for the detailing. There were a couple of old plastic cups in the backseat floorboards. Not only did they not toss them, which would have been fine by me, they didnt even vacuum the backseat as a result. They didnt clear the dust out of the cupholders or wipe the radio down either. When they were changing my oil, after having waited a few minutes, one of the guys came in to ask how to check the mileage on the car. I like the idea of this place but I will definitely find a different one next time.

We paid to have our Altima detailed, but when we came to pick it up, it looked like they just vacuumed the carpets and wiped down the inside. They didnt even clean the console...just shut the door so it couldnt be seen. My husband went back in to complain, and they told him to take it through again free of charge. When he did, they just washed the outside again, and told him they didnt have time to do the inside again because they were too busy. So, $130 later, we have a car that looks like we took it through the car wash and then let my 6 year old clean out the inside. This is the 2nd time I have had issues with this place. It will also be the last time. Dont waste your money here. Youre better off doing it yourself.

Worst experience ever. My car wasn’t that dirty to begin with, but it came out basically the same. My windows are smeared worse than they were. I received a gift certificate book for Christmas and they only let me use one at a time. I won’t be going back.

My experience was fine until I noticed the huge, black scuff marks all over the ceiling of my 6 month old, brand new car!!! I finally spoke with a manager and he informed me they would review the video cameras from when I was in and could possibly scrub out the black marks on my light gray interior- undoubtedly damaging my car further and making the appearance worse. I will never do business here again!

For $47 plus tip, the only clean part of my car was what the automated equipment did and two front floormats, my first and definitely the last time, I could have done that at waterway for $7, regretting giving the place a chance.

This place is awful. They charge a fortune and do not get your car clean. In fact, when I got in my car there were grease spots all over from spots they sprayed and didn’t bother to wipe down. When I was driving in the rain last night I couldn’t see anytime there were lights shining at me because there was some sort of film over my windshield that they sprayed on and didn’t wipe off.

Workers place dirty floormats on the seats of my brand new vehicle which has light colored leather seats. When I brought it to their attention, the manager stated thats their policy. Some of the staff is rude and indifferent.

They don’t call you back. They are rude. Some of their techs are sexist I have video evidence and picture evidence of unfinished work went into Offenburg Ford of O’Fallon Illinois to find out what was going on was told to call Kim we’ve dealt with him before and we’re not getting anywhere then when I went in to show the video everybody’s mouth dropped but said you signed the paperwork I went in on behalf of my boyfriend because he’s a union labor and he worked his butt off till late I am a stay at home self-employed marketer advertiser so I have the time to help . There oil spots on a brand new 2017 Ford 150 my boyfriend pays premium package prices fees but is told that sorry we only do this this and this if your name is auto butler then you should do exactly what your name means if you’re only going to have work then say we are a light auto cleaning service. It doesn’t matter someone signed the paperwork or not not everybody understands the small print and it should be a personal policy to explain everything down to the. I’m waiting for corporate to call me from Ford yes. This is unacceptable and seeing all these other complaints just tells me that I wasn’t the only one who has had difficulties with this company. They need to close up shop or get better service techs when it comes to auto butler service.

Yesterday was my first and my last time ever going to this establishment it look like a three-year-old washed my car not sure what type of towel or product they use but I noticed my car has a lot of scratches

They seem to never get the car clean on the inside. I spent 5 minutes wiping the inside down before leaving the parking lot. Not worth the 17 dollars anymore.

Not a long wait and very satisfied, except the inside of my windows were smeared. Had to stop and do them myself! Needs more attention!!
