Dr. Lane is my dentist and I am in love with my hygienist shes like my mouth mom. I have been going to Distinctive Dentistry in Maitland for many years. Its been a little over a year (because of the pandemic) since my last visit. All the Dentists and office staff are all very warm and welcoming. It was good to see Sarah, my hygienist once again! She is very friendly and goes out of her way to make sure Im comfortable throughout my visit--from taking the necessary x-rays and the cleaning. She is very gentle and very thorough! Its always a pleasant experience. The office is clean and they follow infection control protocol. I felt very safe there.

While I have sensitive teeth and have always feared going to the Dentist, my hygienist Elizabeth, and all the dentists have been amazing. I’ve been going to this practice for more than 15 years and they have worked with me to reduce my sensitivity and I have always had an excellent experience. My husband and two children go here too, and we are treated like family. Highly recommend!

Love Distinctive Dentistry! Used to be Dr. Nofsinger, Lane, Curley & Zak and had been at that time seeing Dr. Nofsinger and Dr. Lane. They are professional, caring, clean, and up to date with their medical services, knowledge and experience. Always had been timid with my dental and they always make me feel safe and comfortable. Would not go to anyone else.The times when I was going through other medical issues for the past 5 years-they were very sensitive and caring. They took extra caution and made sure I was medically on track to have my cleaning. My husband had knee surgery and they take the time to make sure he too is well prepared to have his cleaning. They would do the reminders and their scheduler knows what you need or ask about your status prior to coming in. This makes us the patient and the office prepared in advance.I can go on and on about their professional services and the team of doctors and everyone there. They are an extended family for us. Even in the times when we had job changes or relocated, we would go to other doctors/dentists because of insurance and then would come back to Distinctive Dentistry. Thats how we value them.

Another fantastic on time visit. Didnt even get the chair in the waiting room warm before I was taken back. My dental assistant had everything ready to go. She started the cancer exam which is just part of their process and the doctor walked in to do his exam. Start to finish out the door in 45 minutes.

This week, I made the decision to find a dentist closer to where I live. I wanted the personal touch and to be called by my name and not just a person in the crowd.My husband has been raving about Distinctive Dentistry for years but I am loyal to a fault, so even though my first dental office closed, I went to their sister office. In the past year, the drive and non personal touches were not there like they were at the Maitland dentistry, so decided it was time to get closer to home.I am kicking myself for not moving over sooner to Distinctive Dentistry as these people are the real deal. They are personable and beyond fun, know your name, greet you as you come in, help you beyond what you might need and always with the mask smile and laughter that could calm anyone down, especially if you are in pain.I saw Dr Lane who spent an hour with me going over my chart, telling me what he was looking for in my mouth and giving me information as he poked around my mouth so I knew exactly what he was doing and why. I have never had such a thorough exam ever! Plus he has a great smile behind that mask. He was very professional and knowledgeable.Then there was what I was waiting for, the hygienist, as on the whole I have been having my teeth cleaned for 2-3 times each year for over 40 years due to a build up issue on my teeth. So I was very interested to see how we would get along.I need not have worried as Michelle was not only personable, but funny and we hit it off like best friends. She also took the time as she went through my mouth. checking out each tooth and told me where I needed to spend more time on my cleaning.Oh and you will NEVER forget your appointment, as they send you texts so you have no excuse not to come in and see them. Plus you will like the goodie bags they give out too.There is no way you will be in pain after you have been in that office with all those mask smiles and friendly people - so caring. Just sitting and listening in the lobby to the girls chatting with customers truly showed me that I picked the right dental office. They LOVE their patients.

Tom Hand, DDS, was my dentist for over 45 years, and I was well prepared not to ever find another dentist like him. Tim could easily be his younger brother, but I have not had time to check with ancestry.com. Real is all that matters to me. Affected Role, no matter how educated, can easily be found. I am double-blessed to be planning an all day surgery with Dr. Don Tillery and Tim in the near future. Well meaning friends question my judgment...You could have the same work done for much less! Thats simply not true! This triangle, including a specialist from the lab who will join us for the surgery, is a perfect Trifecta! At this moment, I am publicly giving Don and Tim permission to give out my phone number if you have a couple of extra hours for detail. Last comment...I dont believe in luck. God is Sovereign. I am not. God always knows what He is doing; I rarely do. The number of accidents combined with having this event happen, are statistically larger than the lottery. Do you want me to continue...really? Call for my phone number, and text me before you call. I dont answer calls that are not in my Contacts.

I had a very pleasant experience from the day I first made my appointment. The office is set up very nicely to allow for social distancing. I was taken back, on time, by Tiffany. Tiffany actually sat and talked to me about my dental history and the reasons I was there. She offered some very helpful suggestions. I never once felt like she was rushing me or that she already had one foot out of the room to move on to the next patient. She took time to answer my questions and that really stood out for me because I honestly cant recall the last time I visited ANY doctor or dentist office where I wasnt frustrated because I was treated like just another number and not an actual human. Then she said she was going to get Dr. Lane and pass the information on to him. WELL!! Heres the shocker! You know how you have to explain everything to the first person that brings you in to the room and then when the next person comes in, you have to explain the exact same thing all over again and possibly repeat it again for someone else? Well, this did not happen. Tiffany did tell Dr. Lane everything that we talked about and when he came in to talk to me, he knew exactly why I was there. I didnt have to repeat myself. Dr. Lane ALSO spent time answering my questions and never made me feel rushed. I left my appointment feeling like there was actually a treatment plan in place which was quite refreshing. I highly recommend this dental practice. I will return to them and, whats crazy is that I dont mind paying out of network prices to go to them because I honestly hate going to the dentist...but not this time!

In addition to my care we started both of our children, now 5 and 7, with the super friendly hygienists and it was a great experience for them. Dr Scott E. McCauley is an Excellent dentist and Ana Maria his aid is supportive and friendly. They were very patient, explaining every procedure with details, listening to any concerns.
