M&k kept my truck for over 3 weeks in their service department. They came up with issue after issue they claimed I needed fixed which didn’t show up in the initial inspection they took. Over priced me ridiculously and threatened not to put my truck back together if I didn’t comply with the recommended repairs from them. I pulled my truck into their service department yet they told me I would have to tow my truck because of the state EPA code which is why they wouldn’t put it back together because I didn’t consent to them doing the extra recommended work. When I asked for them to show me proof of the EPA code they refused and later on admitted they were wrong about the EPA (after the repairs had already been done) I picked up my truck and parked it in my lot. The next day I come to start it and it wouldn’t start. Funny thing my truck never needed jumping before and they had no issues starting my truck while it was in their care. So I call them and they tell me my truck needs new batteries and that I would have to pay to jump it then bring it to them and pay them to put new batteries in. My batteries were fine before I took my truck to them to get my EGR cooling fixed (which is all I originally took my truck in for). Absolutely terrible service. They are clearly taking advantage of people and I wouldn’t recommend them if they were the last service on earth!

If there was anything less than a 1 star that would be my choice. Hard to know from where to start, anything about this dealer is wrong and unprofessional. Terrible customer service, call attendants give you attitude if you ask questions they do not know how to answer like its your fault and not theirs. Technicians who do not have the proper training, break things in the truck and do not take responsibility for it, managers who refuse to take your call once they know they did something wrong...so many issues with this place.I have a 2021 VOLVO VNL 760 with an extended warranty that they wont accept. I have called for over 3 weeks to try to speak to Chris, the manager and they keep telling me he is in a meeting and he will call me back.My truck was under diagnosis for over 6 hours just for a turn signal.When I finally spoke to Chris, the manager, he told me he was going to solve the problem and he was going to call me back...its been a week since then.I have called every single day to try to find out how many trucks are in front of mine, every single time I call they tell me a different number. When finally one person told me my truck was next, I called next day in the morning to find out there was still 2 truck in front of mine. I am pretty sure this dealer accepts bribes for other trucks to be passed in front of others on the line.Very bad business.

The worst dealership!! I have a 2022 Volvo VNL 60 k on the mileage, the truck has electrical issues, so I drop the truck at the dealership for the repairs! It took more than 1 month to fix the issue. When I came to pick up my truck I found it was damaged !! The manager told me they will fix the damage and now after 1 week, they don’t have the estimate time when it’s gonna be fix!!

I bought two brand new trucks from this place. First was a lemon. 18 dealer visits in 3 years mostly for emission control issues. Never mind the warranty. Takes a day or two to diagnose the truck. Ended up trading in a three year old truck for a new one which is much better than the old one was. Eric is a good guy to go for sales. Chris is great at service. Typical MK Truck dealer

The worst customer service that I ever received. After a month of waiting for my truck to get fixed , they have not done anything on it, that I asked for. Went back to them for the same issue and they said they cant fix my truck. The only nice thing about this place is that there are only two guys at the front desk helpfull . Please look for better place!.

Chris Knasiak is the worst manager I have ever seen before! They removed the dear guard from my truck to inspect the suspension, and they charge me for that. I agree with them to pay that. After that, they sent me a new estimate of 1400$ for the windshield and some other things. I denied paying the estimate, and I go over there to pick up the truck, but they never put the deer guard beck instead of that, they put it on catwalk unsecured. Unprofessional service and stuff I have ever seen before!The only good guy here is Dan Kljaic, the sales representative. I would continue to work with this guy in the future!

I have sent couple trucks at this location for the repair, they did an excellent job, easy to reach them on the phone and very knowledgeable personnel.I call this place for an advices and they are always willing to help.Had truck broke down in North Carolina, called everybody around, nobody were able to find me the part, called this location, they did found the part and sent it overnight. Special thanks to Brian and Eddie with exceptional knowledge and skills.

I bought a used truck by the dealer name Jordan Cekov and we find out two days later while driving together Alabama and causing probably an accident that the stop bar on the fithwheel was missing causing 5000$ in damage calling back him and the manager back saying that they don’t care this was inspected by the dot and I don’t understand How they pass it the truck have several issues and the extension warranty he sold to me dos not cover for anything please stay away from this dealer and shop very low class people and very rude looking all reviews they have and that reflects what they are not thing else to say just stay away from them. Also the report from another volvo center will be issued soon they find out that the stop bar never been mounted and thinking how they pass the dot inspection further information will be posted on this review once I have all reports from the other volvo dealer with pictures and eventually a legal action

I came in bcz I had a check engine light on, they did the computer diagnostic but they never wanted to tell me what was wrong with the trk, I waited 3 h then I left.i hate that place, in any other shop they will tell you how much it cost, they do it and give you the results right away.best Volvo dealership is new have n Indiana they never charge you for checking your codes, also if they find sth minor they will fix it right away, Volvo also Zero star

We use the Chicago Heights Illinois service center. We have for many years and they are always courteous, friendly and knowledgable. When asked for estimates, they are most of the time pretty close to what was quoted unless something unexpected shows up. We have used other service people and definitely do not get the runaround or problems we have had with others.Thank you for the excellent service.

1st time coming in for service at a Volvo Dealer. I was apprehensive & nervous initially. Chris Knasiak from Service was very welcoming, professional, & informative. He worked with me on the pricing & they diagnosed my company truck without a hiccup. Im genuinely impressed & the typical Dealership stereo type definelty does not apply to these guys!Brian the shop foreman took the time to point out & explain the necessary service recommendations. I have extensive automotive knowledge being an former technician. All the information I was given was true & needed to be addressed.Im impressed. Thank you Chris(Service Advisor) & Brian (Shop Foreman)Ps. These guys dont work on commission. Amazing at the level of service I received!

Four days a week I drive past M & K on 294 - I am amazed at how often the trucks are re-arranged. I am, equally, amazed at the orchestration of colors and styles! The Fourth of July arrangement was outstanding! All your hard work is worth it. If the truck arrangement/planning is indicative of how you run the rest of your business, I would, for sure, buy a truck (s) from you if I was in need.

I will write a very through out review so everyone can see the pros and cons of going to this center.First of all everyone was very nice with me when I initially called and when I went there. All of the people on the front desk are friendly and understanding. I guess this is the only good point.I brought my truck there on June 25th. I called in advance for a Dino inspection and they said they can get the truck in today. Keep in mind, the only reason I traveled for an hour there is because this is the only M&K center near me that can do a Dino inspection. I left my truck there and the calls and emails started. They never keep in touch with you and you really have to call all the time and push in order for something to be done. After 3 days, they ended up telling me that they can not perform a Dino on my truck (still charged me for the initial Dino and inspection apparently) which correct me if I am wrong but shouldnt they know by even looking up the VIN if they can perform Dino? I mean if they told me on day one, I wouldnt even stay there or drive an hour there. Then they said they need more time to diagnose the truck. (again keep in mind I went there with documentation and over $10,000 of changed parts) so I was like ok do your job and diagnostics. Meanwhile, I had to call multiple times every day since no-one was calling back. If they did send me an email with an estimate and I responded, then called like a day later, they acted like I never sent them an email back and they still didnt have approval, which I did.So after they changed multiple parts which should have fixed my problem according to them (again keep in mind this is not too old of a truck). My problem still existed and now they said they needed to change more parts and my bill was getting to $11,000 after I already changed parts for over $10,000. Chris helped me get the harness fixed for free since I had warranty on it but that still did not fix my problem and my truck was there from 25th of June till 17th of July. So I went to pick up my truck and they said that the problem is not fully fixed but the truck is building boost a lot better.... Guess what, it isnt. I mean I dont know what kind of mechanics work there but as soon as I moved like 30 miles with the truck, it asked me for regen, I mean I am sure they saw that. So I brought my truck to another service and they did park regen and on the 10th minute found a problem that M&K never found and told me about in a month... Now I do not know if whatever this other service found will fix my truck but just the fact that they found that there is a problem which M&K never even mentioned is a little worrying. I wouldt go back and I wouldnt recommend you to go there if you want your truck to be fixed. Front desk guys are nice tho, just very bad at communication, giving calls, returning calls and emails too.

PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING HEREThere was a problem with my oil drain plug. I bought my truck used. I went to ta for an oil change. There was a silicon over the drain plug so they didnt touch it. So I went to this dealership thinking I need a oil pan. They pull the truck in. After they looked at it they told me it was only drain plug was bad and I dont need an oil pan. I was so happy I left 5 star review. Now I am at Speeco. Turns out I needed an oil pan. Insert was broken. The guy over there didnt feel like doing the job so he patched it up and charged me 600 dollars. Now I am stuck at Arizona late for my appointment. Mk truck repair will lie to you and get your money. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Only if I could give 0 star. I wonder if they gonna reply to this post

They never pick up their phone, if they do.. they put you on a looongg delayed hold. Plus they are not 24 hours as they claim. If they are.. someone should be answering their phone or else someone is snoozing on their job. I see a response from the store owner for other customers comments. If you have that much time responding to other folks, at least please answer your phone.!!! Otherwise this location needs a new management. Bad experience ALWAYS!!!!

Knowledgeable staff. I showed up at 3pm on a Friday and by 7:30pm I had my coolant leak fixed and was on the road again. One word of caution, if you can leave your trailer somewhere else, do so. Very limited trailer parking. $144 per hour labor rate.

**please read before giving them business**DO NOT GO HERE. I swear this is the WORST place I have ever been to in my entire life. I ignored the reviews and I promise you they are all telling the absolute truth. 1st Time I went in October 2017 for an anti freeze leak, truck sat there for TWO WEEKS. I called every 2 or 3 days to check on it and it was never even moved until the the last 2 days... so it only took 2 days to work on it and it sat there for TWO WEEKS. Gave them the benefit of doubt , maybe they were busy right.. this past Friday February 2018 I had to take it back in to get the anti freeze leak changed AGAIN.. so I spent $6,000 to get something fixed that ended up needing to get fixed again four months down the line. I am beyond livid. This is ridiculous. I’m an owner operator, money is never the issue. The problem is if I’m paying you $6,000 out of pocket I expect My truck to work for more than four months. To any truck driver thinking of wasting time here, don’t. Plain and simple. Because we all know that you can’t make any money if you’re not moving.

If you stop here for what Volvo calls Uptime ( quick diagnosis), you better bring a lot of patience with you cause you gonna need it in this place. That uptime should be called Up-set @ this dealer :((I was told theyll have me in within an hour or so. I was polite and waited 5 hours then the shift changed I go in and ask the guy at the service desk goes oh, its gonna be a while...They clearly dont have the capacity (nor space ), to handle the Chicago metropolitan area.Communication: 0.0 ( zero point zero!)⭐️

Please do not disregard this review! Trust me I disregarded the reviews, went here and I completely REGRET IT! Horrible people and horrible service. They treat the customers like crap, ignore phone calls, make false promises, and are very rude! If you buy a truck here do not pay them without seeing that they have a title on hand, and making sure they do everything you requested to the truck. Once they have the money good luck getting any help from them, or them answering questions with anything besides just I dont know. Their service department is also crap as they will make up false problems with your truck, charge you an arm and a leg, and give you the truck exactly the same with some extra grease on the king pins, and axles! Horrible, Horrible! Do not buy anything from them! Go to a different dealer! Avoid any M&K at all costs! DO NOT DISREGARD!!

Horrible service in so many different ways. Front counter makes fun of customer, managers are always hidden in the back room. Wont take any payments unless Pearson with a card stands in front of them. Horrible managers. Truck had check in Gibraltar light 3 miles later. Going to take it to cti.
