I tried to give them no stars but it wouldn’t let me. I went in for a simple oil change and head mechanic told me my brake pads were cracked and falling apart. Truck was breaking fine so I decided to get it looked at when I got home. When I got to the shop close to home the mechanic called me out to the shop after 15 minutes and showed me there was absolutely nothing wrong with my breaks all the way around my truck. Haven’t been back to Alsip Truck Center since. I actually drove on those pads for over a year after that. GET SECOND OPINION

I stopped in to apply for the diesel mechanic position they posted on Facebook and the front desk person who “assisted” me was rude and unprofessional. Their post encourages you to stop in or send resume if interested, so I decided to go in since I live 10 minutes away. I asked for the mechanic’s manager and they said he was on vacation which I thought ok, no problem. However, he made me wait 30 minutes just to give me an application. As he was asking me about my work experience, he will cut off in the middle of the conversation from time to time to speak to a co-worker in Polish ( I don’t speak or understand Polish) and laugh together. The whole experience was so unprofessional, rude and I felt discriminated. To my fellow mechanics so you don’t waste your time like I did, if you aren’t of Polish descent, don’t even try applying here.

Good people, good mechanics. Fixed my truck on time. But one problem-i tried to reach them yesterday and today after 3pm and nobody answer the phones, I tried several times. I will probably try somebody else. If you guys change the hours please update the hours here too

Great service and prices. I love taking my truck here they tell me if I have any other problem and the are speedy with your repairs.

I am currently at their business stuck in Ice because they could not be bothered to lay salt or properly clear their yard.On top of that with the company I work for this is the 2 Nd truck I’ve picked up from being repaired or having a certified proper dot inspection and the vehicles still have basic safety issues. They take no pride in their work.Also being a female trucker they are very dismissive and disrespectful. I asked where on the yard did he park the supposedly fixed truck to be told to look for it with a flick of his wrist. Then to get to the truck and it’s leaking worse than before with coolant. Come on. Do better

This is the best shop that Ive been to in the Chicago market. The mechanics are top notch and the price is great. Ive had work done on my truck in Houston, Atlanta, and Knoxville recently and each time I had to go to Alsip Truck Center to have the work redone. My nephew Chuck introduced me to the guys at Alsip Truck and I cant thank him enough.I you want to get your truck repaired the right way I recommend that you check these guys out.

They give you a discount if you post a good google review lol. This is one of those shops that will break six other things while trying to fix your original problem and say it’s not their fault. Also will take 3 times as long to fix what ever your problem was.

This place is rip off, I was using them for a long time and was disappointed with this scammers many times!First repair shop... they pretty much always overcharge you, do poor job, many times they was charging me for the some repair but didn’t repair the issue and when you go to complain, guess what, they will charge you again to fix that which they was supposed to fix it first time!Tires, tire repair, mechanical, electrical work, you name it... they are always more expensive than any other place, and do bad job.Also very rude and lying polish guys, especially when you have complain about their job!Second and the last... they also have a tractor trailer paid parking, but don’t ever book a parking spot here or you will regret!I was parking there for almost a year and their parking is disaster, big holes everywhere, especially in the back, dust, poor snow removal, people still things from your trailer and this guys don’t care about that even if you report that to them!Avoid this place at any cost of you don’t want to be ripped off and have bad service!!!

Can I just copy and paste Muhammad Amaris comment from 2 weeks previous?Fix one thing, may not even be the right thing to fix, shortly after, up to 1/2 dozen fairly major issues happening almost at once.I have lost thousands, probably tens of thousands, in income as a driver.My suggestion, avoid like the plague unless you like your hard-earned money going into hotel rooms and mechanics. Your truck may never run the same!

They are really good mechanics. Ive been going there for over 4 yrs and no complains. Pete is extremely help and always meets deadlines and goes the extra mile.

Ive had an electrical shortage or something and Ive told them to do a diagnostic and some tests to see where the problem was coming from. Theyve did something else and called saying it was a problem some where else and there is no eletrical issues, Ive paid to fix it and the problem Ive went there for was still messed up. I say, did you do diagnostic and tests to see what might be wrong? The guy says no, I told him, well thats what I have came here for in the first place, was the eletrical shortage or something, not what you have fixed. The guy says I cant look at it today come back another time, after I just paid him 900 the day before. Stay away from this place, they speak another language around you too, I think polish or arabic.

Did many repairs, in many shops, but I have to admit that this one is so far the top one , high quality of work, things are done once, I naver had to return for rework, friendly crew, resonable prices, mechanics over have have both knownledge, and expirience, so they know what they are doing!

This shop is a big rip off . They fix one thing and broke another.The final price is never the same as the estimated one . Low educated mechanics and poor management. Worst experience ever . Never going back.
