I went to many different shops in two weeks looking for someone to install a remote start for my 2003 Hyundai Tiburon but come to find out I already had one installed in the car from a previous owner so I took my car here because they had remotes and I was in and out in 8 minutes with a working key fob and my car locks, unlocks, and starts. while the other shops couldnt identify the remote starter because they wanted me to buy their remote starter but this place went above and beyond and didnt try to get a cash grab from me and programmed my key fob for free while I pay for only the fob. Definitely go here for remote starters, alarms, and key fobs theyre professional.

In 2020 I got my car alarm and remote starter installed and windows tinted. Bob the owner was really professional and explain to me everything and gave me options on the things I wanted. He was clear and helped me out a lot.I was very satisfied with his work. Just recently I went back this month to get a sound system in my truck Chris explained to me the best options for my truck. So, this is the second time dealing with All-Guard. I met the owner last time (quite the talkative one) he claimed to be all about customer service...blah ,blah. I got a remote starter put on my daughters car. After a collision there was an issue with her car starting without the added remote start, so we decided to return to All-Guard to see if they could help us out. The owner ignored my wife, daughter and I as we walked in. (Almost playing under the radar...Im not the owner). The lady at the front desk was quite rude, claiming that the problem wasnt theirs! We were just looking for help here. The owner backed up the rude lady saying that it wasnt their product that was the problem, but he would have one of his guys take a look at it. My daughter left crying because of these two and the hopelessness of getting her car fixed.Thankfully Chris a long-time technician is a professional, and figured out the issue and explained what was causing the problem...he saved the day!

This is the spot if you want quality and great service. Bob hasnt been in business over 20 years because he does a bad job, hes in business because hes doing great work on cars. No need to have any anxious feeling about bringing your whip here. Its safe its reliable

We had an appointment to get our remote start fixed on our fob. They had the solution within 15 minutes. Chris was so nice. He explained what happened. I had inadvertently left my headlights on while parked for 4 hours at the veterinarians office. My pet needed surgery and I had to stay in the car because of COVID-19. It was a dusky day, so I drove with lights on, and forgot to turn them off while parked. Everything on my fob worked, except remote start. Chris asked if we put a new battery in the car lately. Our battery was only 2 years old, so no, but I remembered my battery died at the vets office. They were able to reset the fob, and did not charge us full price for the appointment. Great place with great people! Highly recommended!

My husband surprised me with an automatic starter and tints for my Jeep. The tints look amazing. The starter worked for about a week and then my car wouldn’t turn off, brought it back, Bob fixed it. 4 months later, same thing. Jeep will not turn off. Instead of taking it back, I’m starting it manually. No point when it seems to keep happening. Take your business elsewhere!!!!!!!

Great Customer Service. Quality Care. We have had 3 cars with Viper Remote Starters. Two cars have died. The first one still working now for 3 or 4 years now. I have come in for service now 3xs and left a happy camper! Once was on a call to us after another client canceled ... I came right in, and I believe there was no charge!

Excellent service! Bob always goes out of his way to help his customers. If you are looking a quality job, look no further. I would highly recommend All-Guard. It may take a couple of weeks to get an appointment as they are very busy at times. But it is worth the wait.

It was nice to find a business that has been around for a while. Chris was extremely helpful and took the time to explain all my options and what sets there installations apart from some of the other places out there. I felt like my car was in good hands here. Everything was done according to schedule. We have been using the remote start now for a little over 1 month and enjoying every day during winter. It will be nice to have the car cooled off in summer also. Very professional shop, and I would not hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone!

Took my truck to them June 12, 2020 thinking only my rear woofer was damaged; the professional Chris knew exactly how to diagnose the real problems! Majority of my speakers was damaged and Im happy with the final installation and repairs. I will be coming back for tint and a advance upgrade in my truck sounds. I went there today to get a price for a alarm on my new pick up, and nobody was wearing masks, I asked the owner if he would put a mask on, but he wouldnt. If he doesnt care about my health or my familys health is he going to care about my alarm system ? Its his right not to wear a mask in his business, but I wont be his customer, if he doesnt care about us.

Had windows tinted/remote starters on a Mustang, Mini Cooper and Outlander. Bob would pick up my car from work and it would be done by the time I got out. Never had issues with tints or remote starts. Will be going back soon to get some audio work done on my Jeep! It might a little more expensive but I know the work is done right and guaranteed so it is worth it!

I had a fantastic experience from All-Guard. Had my Chrysler 300 tinted 35% all around. High quality material and high quality customer service! I had them done about 7 months ago and Bob was nice enough to take me to work after I brought my car in early am which was in blue island about 10 min drive from the shop. In this day and age, it is refreshing and comforting to know of a business that genuinely takes pride in their work; this is All-Guard. Top notch facility in honesty, installation quality, warranty coverage, and integrity. I was in the auto alarm business 30 years ago, and at that time All-Guard was the premier facility for this work in the Chicagoland area. Since the 1980s nothing has changed. All-Guard is still in Alsip, Illinois doing the same quality work. Once you go to All-Guard, you will not go elsewhere in the future. Hats off to the owner Bob; hes a great, honest, straight forward individual, and an asset to the community.

In short, very good and professional service. I had a shock sensor installed on my 2013 Chevy Sonic and it works very well. Before, the cars alarm would only trigger when a door was opened (GM factory alarm). Now the alarm goes off on impact. When I was there, the owner made sure to know what I exactly wanted. Once I left, I looked how it was installed and it looked very good. The wiring was done in a very clean way and professional. Unless GM starts installing shock sensors on new vehicles, this is not the last time they will be seeing me.

Had dead battery during cold snap that caused an aftermarket car alarm (not installed by all-guard) which was not used for 18 years to arm. All-guard gave me guidance on how to stop alarm from sounding so it could be driving to their location for removal. I called in am and they squeezed me in that day for complete immediate removal while I waited since I had no ride. So thankful to them for fitting me in their schedule. They were absolutely wonderful.

Bob is a guy that really pours his heart and soul in to this mom and pop auto business. Working 12-16 hour days, Bob has been in the store every time I came in for service. He has always took the time to personally explain exactly what they did to our vehicles, how it works and make sure we were satisfied. These guys really do care about there customers and work hard to get stuff right. I have taken 5 of our vehicles to him and every time I’ve experience great service. He stands behind his products and installation. I did have one radio malfunction and without question Bob replaced it with a brand new unit the same day. I came to inquire about a remote start for my sons car in early December 2018. First off, just in case people dont already know, this place is VERY busy. So just be patient and expect to spend a little bit of time here. You wont regret it. They asked questions about the car and recommended the the best choice. I asked some questions back and they took the time to explain their recommendation. They did not try to upsell me. In fact, they steered me away from something more expensive that I asked about because it was unnecessary for what I needed. Because they are so busy, the next installation appointment was 3 weeks out, just after Christmas. So keep that in mind as well. I had hoped to surprise my son on Christmas, but I was okay with that. I brought the car in the afternoon before to drop off for the next day. It was estimated to take 3-4 hours to install , which again, was fine with me. I was very pleasantly surprised to get a call the next morning around 10AM telling me the car was ready! They told that they brought the car inside that evening and were able to get an early start on it. Even though I was unable to pick up the car until that evening, it was great to know it was done. These guys are extremely knowledgeable and helpful and guarantee their work. The prices are good and worth every penny. These guys havent been around since 1972 for nothing. Highly recommended!!

This place is great, had 3 cars tinted here...2000 Honda Accord an they tinted the windows like it was a Bentley...2015 Chrysler 200 c and that was also a superb job....a month after he tinted it...an older gentleman T-Bone me an totaled it....so now I got a 200 s.. once again he does a superb job....GO HERE...very good!

I cant say enough about Bob and the guys at All-Guard. Im a happy, repeat customer because of their great service. I had my window tints installed there as well as a remote start/alarm system. Professional isnt strong enough a word to describe them! They installed my tints/alarm quickly, professionally, to the point where they look like they came with the car. When I had a problem with the remote transmitter for my alarm (a manufacturer defect not their fault at all!) they replaced the transmitter free of charge, no questions asked! HIGHLY recommend! I will be going back for any other aftermarket auto product I need.

Dont waste your time going to a backyard mechanic or to any other place like a big box store to have your stereo equipment or alarms installed. These guys are professionals and do a great job and dont play games with you. Too bad I found out too late and had a backyard mechanic through my stereo so I had to pay twice basically to get it right but I will never go anywhere else these guys are the greatest!

My experience with this place was absolutely terrible. I know most of their reviews have been positive. But my experience was terrible. A young man named Al was appointed to my vehicle. I had to continually call and call. Most of the time I still would not get in contact with him. He took a whole week just to give me an estimate.Im taking my money elsewhere. You should not have to beg a business to take your money. Almost $3000.
