Amber services our hot water boiler which heats our floors. Honestly, its kind of a complicated system so the technicians need to know their stuff. We have used Amber for over 20 years with no problems at all, thats why we continued to use them with great satisfaction.On their most recent visit, we had an issue. It took a while, but once I was in contact with MIKE, The General Manager, the issue was resolved with one phone call.If you do ever have any problems with Amber (BTW, 1 problem in over 20 years is a great track record), I believe MIKE can help you find a solution.I highly recommend Amber; as I said, resolving my issue took some time, but the end result is this: customer satisfaction is the priority for Amber and it wants and appreciates your business.

I had Trent out today to clean my furnace and Jose has been out to install a thermostat and Clean my AC! I wouldn’t use any other HVAC company! We worked with Amber Heating on a duct seal project, using the Aeroseal system. I was impressed by the knowledge that Anthony, the sales rep who initially came out to scope the project, had on ducts and the sealing process. We ended up with a significant reduction in leakage, and the house already feels more comfortable. I’d highly recommend Aeroseal and would definitely use Amber Heating again for any hvac needs that we have.

I called Amber regarding my a/c that did not seem to be running correctly. The first thing I noticed was the professionalism of the people handling the call and of receiving a callback regarding the arrival times. Well executed and flowed within the expected time frames. Jose came out to check my a/c and I can say that the experience was great. He thoroughly checked my unit, explained in detail but in a completely understandable manner. He was very patient with my questions. He explained options so I felt I could make good decisions. Jose arrived 2.5 hours late and quoted the cost for 2 pounds of Freon which is industry standard but after he added more charges, he said that labor was included but could not state the cost of labor/hour. After arriving late, he told my elderly husband to hurry up and make up his mind because he has to keep it rolling and move to the next appointment. Upon hearing this, I told him I would notate his behavior on social media, at which time he called me a profane name. We ended up calling the police on this person and will certainly follow up.

My high rating is very specifically for the job of replacing the furnace exhaust chimney cap on a very steep high roof, managed and arranged by Anthony. The cap had degraded allowing bird access, nests, etc, leading to clog. Odd however, was that they were not capable of clearing the clog. I had to do that myself before the appointment with my own dryer vent cleaning kit with the extendable sticks, which was not that hard. I also wish their routine furnace clean/check was more competitively priced. It is twice what it should be which is why I did not use them for that.

Not getting heat in some of my rooms Jose had the problem diagnosed in minutes! What a knowledgeable man polite well versed explained everything in details and just an all around nice man!

Called Monday AM about 12 year old furnace not heating properly, Jose Lopez came out at time promised and was able to determine problem immediately because of odor in basement caused by the secondary heat exchanger leaking. Because of the age of the furnace and the complicated repaid procedure he described, I decided to have it replaced.Since the furnace was still usable, he had Anthony come out the next day so that he could determine the proper replacement. Ordered a new Carrier high efficiency furnace ( the old one was a Carriier and the heat exchange still had a few years left on warranty) got a great deal. Old one was removed and new one installed by Adrian who did an excellent job, knew what he was doing and how to do it right, wore covering on his shoes , and cleaned up everything when he was done. My thanks to every one at Amber from the phone answerer, Jose, Anthony, and Adrian. everyy one is the greatest.

Everything was handled very professionally. This was a fairly complicated boiler/ hot water tank retrofit. Took a few days. Pretty happy w end result. Everything works and all the electronics like the fancy thermostat are fully operational. They helped us apply for Com Ed rebate and were very committed to a good result.

Amber is the best! I was at my mothers home when Jose was there doing her AC maintenance and I was very impressed with his personality and with how professional he was. I was a little iffy considering my dad had just passed and all of this was new to my mom I was concerned on how my mom would be treated or if she would be taken advantage of. Our really, really old air conditioner finally failed, so we called Amber--a neighbor recently told us about a very good experience they had, saving them hundreds vs a competitor. Amber was very responsive, sending Jose out asap. He said that he could fix it, but since it was very old, the refrigerant would be very expensive and if it failed again, which was likely, it would be even more expensive and harder to find the refrigerant. He, left it completely up to me and was in no way trying to sell me anything more than what I wanted.We decided to replace our entire system as well as our water heater since we were planning to do all of this work anyway. We knew we were on borrowed time since our equipment was well past their replacement dates.Amber sent Roger to work with us. He was very responsive, gave us three quotes, followed up but didnt push us in any way. Overall, he was excellent to work with. We scheduled two days for his installers Mike and Chad to work, both of whom were very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They prepped the area so as not to leave behind any unnecessary debris, and did their work very efficiently, calling out only when absolutely necessary (I worked from home both days but never felt the need to keep an eye on them).A couple of weeks after the installation, Roger visited one last time to close everything out. He walked us through everything that had been done, presented all of the warranty information, guarantees, and even filled out rebate forms so that all we needed to do was sign and send them in!Overall, we had an excellent experience with Amber and highly recommend them to anyone.

Excellent experience from the scheduler to the completion. All done on time and as expected. I had some water leaking from I-knew-not-where near the humidity discharge system.
