Ricard was wonderful. Courteous, polite, and efficient.His manager, Cheryl or Cindy or whatever her name is needs to go back to manager training. We arrived on time to pick up some boxes that I ordered online. We were greeted, not with a Hi, Ill be right with you or even a SMILE. She looked my husband right in the face and said We are BUSY. Apparently U-Haul does not consider politeness or basic manners to be an important component of customer service.It appears she was in a bad mood because she then started lecturing her employees (who were trying to do their jobs and load our car!!) about the way the boxes in the front of the store looked. She said her boss came by and he didnt like the way they looked. This does not excuse her terrible attitude, and why was it relevant at that exact moment??She then proceeded to berate her two employees continuously about tiny things like how they loaded our cars, and what terms they used to refer to boxes. Im sorry but you should do your coaching some other time and not in front of a customer! If I had a manager like that, I would not work there. Absolutely disgusting display of service and Ricard deserves a raise for dealing with such treatment with the level of grace and professionalism he displayed.If you continue to promote this kind of managerial behavior in your stores, where they bark at customers and chide their employees like dogs, you will have more to worry about than how the boxes are displayed on your floor.

This U-haul has a lot in stock and is great when you need a specialty-sized box. The only reason for 3 stars is that the manager doesnt seem to treat her employees as well as they should be treated. She forgot to tell a new hire that he was going to be paid less than he was expecting on that day and defended herself instead of apologizing. Not the best behavior for a manager trying to hold on to its employees in the middle of a COVID-induced financial and employment crisis. People arent going back to work as quickly because they arent being treated respectfully and not paid enough to be treated so disrespectfully. Very poor form on the account of the manager. Compassion is what we need right now, not defensiveness and excuses, especially from a leader such as this manager. Otherwise, great store!

Rented 5x8 trailer on June 26, 2021 from this U-Haul location.Excellent service; nice people.Two cautions:1. Impossible to contact a human via their phone number.2. Their phone directory (the Press this number ... to reach ...) was and may remain out-of-whack.You must visit in order to discuss details though, you should be able to reserve items online. I reserved my rental via another U-Haul location.

I won an auction here so was only a temporary customer but all of the staff was friendly and as helpful as they could be,. They went out if there way to make sure I had everything I needed,. Now Im considering getting a unit there because the staff at my facility is no where near their caliber. Thanks you guys I appreciate all your help!

After a big mixup by uhaul, this location came to the rescue! My reservation was transferred to Marietta without notice from this location (not their fault!!!) and they went above and beyond when I showed up confused and stressed to make sure we got the truck in order and put my move back on track! Cindy and Greg and their staff got the mess sorted out and even got me a lift to the new location! Thank you for making my move a little less stressful :)

Quick professional reservation and return. The 26 ft truck was 186,680 miles of experience - but performed almost new - looked good. Courteous staff.When I saw the UHAUL pricing on boxes, I was very sorry that I had stocked up on Lowe’s and Home Depot. Could have saved 30% buying boxes from UHAUL.No problems. Good service. Good pricing.

Corporate screwed up my storage rental which was difficult because I reserved nearly two weeks in advance and had drove over 30 hours in 2 1/2 days to get there. Even though it was not this locations fault, the staff and owner went above and beyond to help me out. They made special arrangements for me as I was under a strict time crunch and were super kind and helpful. Im extremely grateful to their entire team for helping me out when I was beat down exhausted and pretty well out of alternative options. Wonderful people!

Rented the van from this location. On the way to return it, I got stuck in traffic and I called ahead of time to let them know it might be a little late. The man said that its not a problem, everything will be fine. I did return it about 20 minutes after the expected time. As I walked in, Greg/Craig/whoever told me to just leave my keys and he would take care of it. I knew that was a bad idea. Sure enough, my card was charged for two days of van rental including two days of the appliance dolly which was never even provided. I called to have it corrected and Greg said it was refunded, it might take a few days to update in your bank, we dont do that, double charging people when they are only 30 minutes late (which is not true my bank shows every charge and refund instantly but whatever). I let it go for a month and now I am posting about my bad experience at this location to warn others. I will file a dispute with my credit card company instead. I did not want to call again to try and have them refund it again, because if they did then I might not be motivated to leave the negative review (which I hate to leave negative reviews anyways). To me, that person knew that if I had stayed to receive the bill and not just left my keys, that I would have disputed the double charges when they handed me the bill right there - so I believe that was an intentional move. I was there around 6:20 and they close at 7pm so there was no hurry. My fault for trusting people at this location apparently. This was my first time renting at this location, I have rented at other locations without ever having any problems.

The lady at the front desk was rude as hell. I used to work at a U-Haul storage facility so I remember the roadblocks I used to run into, however from the start of our interaction I felt she did not want me in the store. I originally came in to buy a couple of boxes and also decided to inquire about storage units (as I am moving soon and am in need of a unit). I asked her if she could check prices for me and also asked if I could give her an address to determine if this was the closest U-Haul (offering storage) to my home. She advised me to google it because she didnt know (completely ignoring the computer right in front of her). Additionally for the location she was at she proceeded to hand me the list of units available rather than asking me questions about what I was looking for etc. Based on her service alone I decided to head up the street to the extra space.As a side note she was not wearing a mask and didnt put one on, leaving me feeling pretty unsafe regarding the COVID precautions taken.

After a long journey, I couldnt have landed in a better spot. The staff at this location were incredibly welcoming and assisting to my needs. I cannot say enough about the sincerity and self-sacrifice shown by on-site employees.I would reccomend to anyone to come here for your moving and storage needs!

Nice gated facility. Friendly staff and a limited selection of boxes, but I found more options online for my move shipped to me. I have gone by the Jimmy Carter and Woodstock location for what Couldnt fit d here find here. Woodstock also did a awesome job installing my hitch last year.

You can never talk with anyone at the location over the phone because they never pick it up, been calling for weeks & leaving messages with the customer service representative for call backs. Manger or worker’s don’t return phone calls. Horrible service! very disappointed

This actually deserves zero stars. The new owner Cindy Hardin needs a swift kick in her FACE! As a combat veteran, I am HIGHLY DISGUSTED with her behavior and attitude. This witch is NASTY! I witnessed her OVERLY AGGRESSIVE AND RUDE behavior with an elderly gentleman who came in needing assistance with his storage unit. She had absolutely no right to do him or other customers that way. Our things were packed up a few days later and moved out. I will never ever ever use this facility as long as she is there (mind you shes only been there for about 6 months) With service like this Im almost certain she will not last long. As a combat veteran it sucks to know this is what we come home to deal with. She makes me wish we could choose whos freedom to fight for!!! Absolutely RIDICULOUS!!!! PUT CINDY HARDIN OUT OF THE UHAUL BUSINESS (OR ANY CUSTOMER ORIENTED BUSINESS FOR THAT FACT)

This facility is the best that I have experienced... I have used this uhaul several of times. The two managers are Great! They are very hospitable, and the facility is very clean... We all know that moving can be a bit challenging, but when you encounter these two they somehow lighten the load with their warmth.They are so friendly that once you have experienced them you feel like a part of the family. I Definitely Recommend this particular store. Thanks you two!

I had made a reservation for a moving truck for a Saturday and due to circumstances had called and canceled on Thursday. I received a call on Saturday morning asking if I was still coming. I told the lady that I called two days and canceled it to which she said that I didn’t call there and hung up on me. I called back and the same lady picked up the phone, I asked to speak to a manager and she said that she was the owner. I am seriously appalled at the way she treated me. I will never be back and will not recommend this place to anyone. Just a little business tip to the owner: customer is always right, don’t treat them like garbage and accuse them of lying.

Be sure to check the odometer and gas gauge before leaving. The truck was old and the back door required a little extra effort to close. I had to adjust the side mirror because it was folded in when I got the keys. The truck I got didnt have odometer and gas readings that matched the print out I received when getting the truck. The rain was pouring so I realized the error shortly after I left. I took a picture to discuss the errors with the staff after I got back with the truck. The staff blamed me for not checking the truck before leaving and charged me anyway for the miles I didnt use. The upsetting part was she tried to insult me over $4 when it was the principle that mattered. Very poor customer service! I hear Home Depot has great around town rates so Ill be using them or another company next time I need to pick up a hardware order.

Best storage experience and interface with uhaul Ive ever had. Mike and his team were by far tops in both customer service and just nice people. Theyre the best. Im a realtor as my business and will certainly recommend them. Do yourself a favor and drive extra miles from anywhere for their rare and expert service. You wont regret it! Im glad our temporary move is over, but I will miss their friendly waves.

They tell you one thing then do something different. We tried paying and they couldnt find our stuff because they auction our stuff off. That was all we had and I just had a baby and his stuff was in there too plus my important info and birth certificate. They didnt call or email us to let us know anything.

Don’t bother trying to reserve a uhaul through this location. I reserved a 15’ for a move over 2 weeks before I was due to move. The night before I’m set to pick up my truck, I checked my account to make sure everything was in order and the pick up location had been changed with no phone call, no email, no notification of this change. My pick up was set for 8:30AM. They changed my pick up location to a salon over 5 miles away that wasn’t open that early: I looked back on my account and they said I had to wait until 10AM when the location opened to get my truck. So I came back only to find out the location didn’t open until 11AM. I looked back at my account and it said my reservation had been cancelled because I failed to pick up my truck on time and it had been given to the next person. WHY WOULD YOU CHANGE SOMEONES RESERVATION TO A LOCATION AND NOT BOTHER TO CHECK IF THE PLACE IS OPEN AT THAT TIME. I had to jump through hoops, spent over 2 hours on the phone with different uhaul agents trying to make sure I had a truck for my move. Biggest waste of time, energy, and money.

The last time I was there, the owner was extremely rude and downright mean. It was so bad, that I walked out. I will never go back to this place. Buyer beware.

I certainly wish I could give this place a big FAT ZERO! the new owner cindy is rude to everyone and is very disrespectful to the elderly. I witnessed her screaming at an older gentleman that had trouble with his key to his unit and she was beyond disrespectful. I would not recommend this place to anyone. EVER. I watched her not greet customers, slam things down, give loud rude responses to simple questions and be very combative for no reason other than her having a horrible attitude and even worse customer service. I miss the old owner, Mike. He treated everyone like family at least.

Today 2/22/19 at around 10:20am I came to rent a truck/van at Uhaul for the first time for a few hours to bring my two commerical treadmills to be repaired from my business located 6 minutes away from the uhaul location to Kennesaw georgia. The process seemed to go smooth with no issue. I gave all information that was needed my ID etc. The representative took photos of my ID with his cell phone which was a little odd to me, but I gave it no thought I just thought that was normal protocol. As we were wrapping up the transaction the rep asked me how many miles do you think that you will use today. I replied back it should be no less than 70 miles Im just going to Kennesaw to bring the treadmills for repair and then bring them right back to my location and then immediately bring the truck back to your U-Haul location which is only six minutes away from me. He said I would be reimbursed back the difference or pay the remaining amount. I wrapped up the transaction and the first thing that I did when the rep brought the truck back around was that I took a picture for the odometer and gas for evidence/reference of how many miles that I drove as well as how much gas that i need to refuel just in case anything was to happen which I’m glad that I did. As you can see in the pictures my first live photo was taken at 10:30am, the initial rental timestamp from uhaul is 10:26am. I also took a final live picture as I arrived to uhaul right after I left the chevron gas station to refuel which is 1 minute away from uhaul of a timestamp of 2:43pm in which uhaul final timestamp is at 2:46pm upon taking out a payment versus me being “reimbursed”. I was told that I drove 133.1 miles. Thats practically impossible kennesaw is only 25-30 Miles away back and forth and theres no way that I drove 133 miles and back to uhaul in a 4 hours timespan. I even have a receipt of a purchase that I made at CSM. The same place that I was having my treadmills serviced. The receipt even shows 12:40pm, invoice and all.The only conclusion that I have is that when the rep read my odometer is that he confused the number 8 with a 0, in which if you look closely at the 8 and 0 in the odometer you can see that being a possibility. Which instead of the initial rental being stated “129,187.6 he documented “129,107.6” By the time he brought the truck around to me to leave my odometer read 129.188.0 which you can see in the photo. I calculated a total of 53.1 miles 129240.7-129187.6 which is realistic not 133.1 miles. Im hoping to have this issue resolved. After calling this in to the uhaul customer service. The initial store called me after in which whomever the male rep/manager was no help. He was somewhat rude and told me that it wasn’t much that can be done because its he say she say and that next time I come to uhaul to double check everything. I told him I have photos proving the issue. All that was said at that point was its just photos, it doesn’t really say anything”. At that point I just called customer service because that just ridiculous that a manager if thats who that was would reply like that to paying customers especially a first time renter from uhaul. If this is how customer service is handled at that store or in general theres some work to be done for sure. For a first time customer I have to say my experience didnt go well at all. How do I go about being reimbursed my proper amount versus being overcharged and how long does it initially take?

Stay away from this uhaul dealership.. very rude customer experience.... I got 10 inch truck but after taking home my Daughters trampoline was not fitting in so I called customer care and uhaul customer representatives told me you can get big by just additional 10$ and .79 $ mile per mile I used but lady on front desk said they dont follow what over phone representatives... and said you have paid full price for existing reservations and new big truck .. problem is not paying for it but Way front lady talking ... worst customer experience...

I had an okay experience with the company but felt that the employee Cody was a total jerk. I left something in the moving van and called to see if it was left there. He said they threw it away in the dumpster and I asked if there was a policy I signed saying if something was left in the truck that it would be thrown out. I wanted to know why I wasnt afforded a phone call before something I had was thrown away. He started throwing it in my face that it was my fault and he holds no bearings to what was my mistake. Were all human beings in the world and I just wanted to know about the policy. Good to know uhaul doesnt give a crap about what you may have left.

Needed a car transport trailer. Dont ask honest questions. The guy got really snippy and belligerent with me when I asked politely why U-Haul wants me to rent their pickup truck when mine met the weight requirements. Youd have thought Id yelled at him with obscenities. He didnt even sign off. He just hung up the phone on me.

Horrible experience. The woman pictured above could only be described as hostile when I checked inDID YOU FOLD THE BLANKETS? she snarled at me. Used one of 4 blankets. For 75 bucks, I should fold her blanket? But more importantly, she was as rude and unfriendly as she could possibly be. It was as if I had done her a terrible disservice by doing business with her. If you want to feel unwelcome and embarrassed I would recommend this franchise.

Everything was there, worked well. However, I was charged for gas even though I filled up to higher than when I took it out. They said I was 1/8th a tank less and because of that charged me $4/gal for gas AND a $30 fill-up fee! I couldnt dispute it because I had returned it after hours with the drop off key. Also, they gave us furniture pads in the truck (which we found when we opened it up) but we never asked for them, but were charged for them.
