I used to be happy with the service. Last year things went very nicely with the lawn service (and this was in the pandemic, I was pleasantly surprised). However their service has gone down hill this year. There was one period where it went 9 weeks between services. By this time my lawn had basically turned into a mix of dollar spot and weeds. When the employee arrived to perform the service, I went out to greet him and find out why the time between services had increased so greatly from previous treatments. He explained to me that their services had not changed in anyway, but after looking it up in the computer and contacting Cheyenne he relayed to me that I had missed a treatment and alerted to me that I needed to call in to get this taken off my bill. He said that he would apply extra treatment to help with the lawn since it had been such a long time and looked very rough. He also explained that they were having some sort of labor issues and that peoples schedules/locations were changing. So I called in to speak to the customer service team, They claimed that they did not know anything about this and that no service had in fact been missed and that I was misunderstanding the service tech. There was nothing they could do. They said that I could call back in a week or 2 if I was still having issues. Called back yesterday morning and am currently waiting for a tech to schedule a trip out. I will update this once the tech has addressed any issues.I have been told that the longest amount of time between services should only ever be 8 weeks, but that 6 weeks is the most common.My Service Appointments from 2021:February 3 (First service)March 16 (6 weeks from last service)April 10 (6 weeks from last service)July 1 (9 weeks from last service)UPDATE 7/29/2021:I was able to contact Matt Leiter the VP of Operations at Turf Masters and he quickly sent out a team to do another round on the lawn. The lawn does not look perfect, but is MUCH better than it was before. Changing from 1-star to 4-star.UPDATE 9/10/21:They have once again gone beyond their 8 week window for service. I had to call and speak with the VP once more to have some one come out. Frankly at this point we will be switching services next year. Changing back to 1-star.

They were good first year but this year it has been terrible service. I never had my yard like this even when I did it on my own. This is not professional service. I will think twice to with you next year.No one reached out to me even after 3 days. Heights of negligence.

Client for ~6 months now and boy am I impressed. Everyone that treats my yard is kind and knowledgeable, but perhaps most importantly, my yard has never been more full and green. We pay over $200 for this companies services and just encountered our first issue. A guy came to aerate our yard, front and back. He completely tore it up. He ran over a tree root in the front, snapped it in half and now its sticking up out of the grass, there are huge holes in the front and back yard. We had a small sand pile right next to our fence in the back yard that had a tarp under it, he ran the machine over it, which dug up the tarp and made a mess. We are the first house on the block and its a complete embarrassment to see how our yard looks now. I called yesterday and was told that they would leave a message for the guy that did it and we would get a call back, they of course, did not call back. My husband called again today and spoke with Cheyenne and told him someone would be here today to take a look. Now its after 7 PM and still no one has showed up. I had to turn away my landscapers today who mow the lawn because of the disaster this guy created. Even the landscaper couldnt believe the condition our lawn was in. Im fed up and disgusted.

Andrew Bernie is the person you need to see. Very professional and the best in the market. He came in and gave me a good idea about my lawn and now taking care of it. I’m very happy with their service so far as they are very responsible and professional.

Our lawn was looking rough and I mean rough! Most of the lawn was weeds and once they were killed off, there was little grass left. Cheyenne, their general manager came out himself to help us figure out how to get the lawn looking better and consulted with us on what type of grass to buy, when was the best time to seed, etc. Connor has worked tirelessly on it. Now it’s looking like a completely different lawn! Unfortunately we had a plumbing issue and had to dig up a lot of our lawn (so sad to dig up that grass!) but I know Turf Masters will have it looking good again.

I am really happy that I called Turf Masters to help me w my lawn. Aside from needing a service, I needed someone to make sure that my sprinkler timers were set properly. After getting a NO we cant do that! from their competition, I called Turf Masters. Within 90 minutes, their field rep Andrew Beirne was on the phone with me to let me know that he could be at my house in minutes. When he arrived, he was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He gave me a great price for ongoing service too, so I signed up right away. He also set my sprinkler timer to the proper settings, so that I can get the most out of their applications going forward. I already know that my lawn will look great going forward too, as he does all of my neighbors lawns and they look great!

I shopped around and found TurfMasters to have a comparable plan to others, while not locking me into a bunch of services that Im going to try to handle on my own (aerating, growth reg etc).They came out twice in the first month to knock down the weeds, and since it has been in good shape. The June visit really Greened up the lawn and now its looking great. I was worried about some bare spots but the thick healthy grass is working its way over them and filling out.Friendly knowledgeable staff as well. Ask questions! Theyll have the answers.

Most weeds stay gone. I have Bermuda so it take sunshine. I wish I could get more applications of nitrogen but my lawn does appear healthy year round.. I do have some shady spots and some moss. I wish my tech would address those areas. I imagine there is something to help with this area.Overall I’m very satisfied and plan on using the services of Turf Masters continually. Having tried several companies I have found TM to do the best job.

I started using these folks 15-years ago in Roswell because my neighbors grass looked better than mine and he used them. Now my neighbors in Cumming ask who I use because my grass looks the better than theirs.

I’ve been a very satisfied customer of Turf Master for the past 10 years, always having one of the best and greenest lawns in our neighborhood. Just started using a new service they provide, called Growth Regulator. Trains the grass to spread and thicken rather than just growing vertically, gives you more time between cuts, and requires less watering.

Matthew Malloy is our technician and performs a super job. He announces his arrival and informs me as to what chemicals he is applying on the lawn. He also instructs me as to when I should water. Also appreciate the email confirming what chemicals have been applied. The company and its employees are very professional. They truly care about the condition of my lawn.

Waste of money! They received our business by pointing out a trouble spot in our yard and then assuring us that they could fix it. Well a year later and it looks exactly the same. When I provided feedback their response was it was mother nature’s fault.

Your technicians have done a great job. The sod was laid in November and I still have some bare spots. I think this is more of an issue with the builder than your service. You have just put the granular fertilizer on. I hope that this jumpstarts the growth.

Appears that Turfmasters (a company I cancelled my service with on January 4, 2019) authorized a company (BUG Out) to do a Mosquito service at my house. Now I am receiving Bills for a Company I never contacted for their Mosquito Service that I didnt authorize. I have never ordered a service from Bug Out before... but they are somehow connected with Turf Masters. Apparently Bug out came to my house while I was at work sometime in April 2019 (4 months after I cancelled my service with Turf Masters). I though... ok a simple misunderstanding. Last week, I called Bug Out and the lady on the phone said that I would not be responsible because of the transition from Turf Masters to BUG Out. I Cancelled my service with Turf Masters... because I received and paid for their Tree Service. They came out for over a year (maybe 2) to treat my trees. I had a tree fall in my neighbors yard because it was DEAD. None of the tree experts from Tree Masters ever mentioned a dead tree in my yard. I paid specifically for their regular tree treatments during the year. When I called Turfmasters... they gave me an excuse that they only treat trees that were a certain height. So this apparently exempts them from the simple courtesy to tell me I have a dead tree. And I do not have a Big Yard. I live in a regular neighborhood in Roswell in a regular neighborhood. I would Not Recommend getting involved with TurfMasters. This whole fiasco is crazy!

I have used Turfmasters for almost 3 years now at two different locations. The transition was smooth and there were no issues in getting our new service setup in a different city. The technicians are always prompt and I have never had an issue with timeliness. Our new home has a gated backyard and Turfmasters always contacts me the day before without fail so I can ensure it is open and they can do their work. Based on the quotes Ive received from other companies, Turfmasters has competitive pricing that is backed with exceptional work. I never worry about them showing up and getting the job done within a few minutes of arrival. They also leave good feedback on their notes to help me maintain my yard.As with many things, there is always room for improvement. With my new yard, the crab grass seems to be much more persistent than at my previous location and the treatments dont seem to work as effectively. I have mentioned this before, but since the technicians are so fast and efficient it may have gotten lost in the conversation. Maybe making notes of additional weeds that seem to remain. ( Decent amount of weeds in backyard so the next person can check if thats the case.) The only other complaint I have is their signs. They should really invest in some sturdier ones so my neighbors can see who is taking such good care of my yard as they pass by with envy.
