This recruiting agency had my references on file from years ago. They called me about an opportunity, I expressed to them that I was not interested in the opportunity, and they went ahead and called all my old references. Im not sure why they would call anyone, given that I was not interested.

Similar scenario as below, except I flew across the country to interview. Mike Lopes cut me off half way as well, the guy is a square. He’s looking for fresh college grads he can slave drive. This company is a joke and with leaders like Mike they won’t be around much longer!

If you are looking to work internally here; I’ll tell you about my experience in a nutshell. I was seeked out via LinkedIn for an account manager position. Went through 4 interviews and it went like this:1st phone interview - with the recruiter that reached out via LinkedIn. She asked multiple questions and was about 30min call then asked to fill out an application and assessment.Done.2nd phone interview- with a recruiter in Illinois she talked to me about an hour on the phone then referred me to be interviewed by a senior person in the office. Took a few days to hear back about 3rd interview. Then interview was scheduled.3rd phone interview- Interviewer forgot to call for my interview so it got rescheduled.Talked to senior employee for about an hour and then referred to come in for a face to face.Took over a week to get an in person interview scheduled because my POC was either fired or quit in the middle of the process. Finally 4th interview scheduled. Here’s what really proved that this company doesn’t have an adequate hiring process and giving quality people an opportunity:4th interview- Met with the director Mike and a senior person, in a conference room. I was asked behavioral/scenario questions that really didn’t effectively give any indication of what the position would be like and stated they mostly promote from within. So why waste my time? As the interview went on I felt like I was being scrutinized while the senior person said nothing but stare at me and type a few things on a laptop. They left in the middle of my interview to go talk about me only to come back and tell me I “wasn’t a good fit” I know what that meant and obviously it wasn’t because of my experience. Mind you, I have over 12 yrs staffing experience and have been with reputable companies. They further proceeded to tell me they mostly hire people that have done technical sales previously. Another indicator of wasting my time because my resume had no technical sales on it. They clearly needed a reason to not hire me. All in all, unless you’re actually either working already for Teksystems or Caucasian with a little bit of industry knowledge, DONT BOTHER with this office. Their whole interviewing process was a waste of my time and the way the type of questions asked doesn’t give indicative qualifying information about the candidate to make the proper hiring decision. And just to give a little info about me, I’ve never went through 4 interviews with a company and not get hired and I’ve only worked for 3 other companies and have degrees.
