My experience was outstanding. Mrs. Long is a charming lady. Tim took my sofa and club chair away and brought them back in good time. This was most impressive, as I had attempted to reupholster the sofa myself, using up much of the cloth that I had. Tim worked a miracle, upholstering that sofa without needing more cloth! Both the sofa and the club chair look absolutely beautiful. I will go to them again and again with my furniture and could not provide a stronger recommendation for ANY business.

Well, they are very busy and their schedule is easily a month or more to get something done according to what I was told. I walked in with my chair cushions and fabric to get a quote. While the front of the shop was occupied by a grandmotherly type women, she did not seem pleased that I came in and just immediately said that they couldnt get to it for at least month. Proceeded to tell me some one had called out today and that somebody else was going on vacation in a week or two. She didnt greet me or ask how she could help. I said I wasnt in any particular hurry but she didnt seem interested so I am taking my business elsewhere despite living just a mile and a half down the road. Was trying to support a local business.

Unable to perform a simple sow and stretch on a modern chair which required less talent than upholstery on a seat cushion! Material is stretchable and easy to mold. This store is unable to think out of the box!

Outstanding work on my sectional. This was a high-quality Mitchell Gold piece that needed recovering. I am extremely happy with the result and highly recommend Longs.

Terrible customer service. I brought some car interior pieces to them and Gary agreed to reupholster them. We even picked out the fabric. He said he would call in a few weeks when it was ready. I waited over two months and dropped by. It was not ready. Gary said he would finish it that week. I waited another three weeks and dropped by. Gary had not even started. His excuse was that he was busy. I got my interior pieces back and will not return

We had all the cushions replaced in our sofa. Longs Upholstery did a fantastic job. It looks great and is very comfortable. Feels like I have a new sofa.

The folks here dont seem to value their customers. Even though their website states send an email, or call and they would be happy to provide you with a quote and more information regarding your upholstery and fabric needs. dont hold your breath waiting for a response. They get too many emails every day. The person I spoke to had a rotten attitude and didnt care that I would have to drive 45 minutes 1-way to get a rough estimate for a repair.

Great experience with this family owned business. I initially visited before Thanksgiving and Tim was very honest in setting proper expectations because it was a busy time for them. However, he promised if I came after Thanksgiving he could have chairs completed in a week. I literally dropped my chairs off this Tuesday right before closing and received a call Friday (yesterday) afternoon my chairs were ready! Not only did he complete the project in 3 days and was courteous to deliver...my chairs look absolutely stunning. Their price was extremely reasonable. I cannot thank you enough and will definitely refer Long’s to all my friends and family! Thank you!!!

They did a great job fixing the upholstery in my 2013 Mini Cooper driver side seat. They were able to match the material color and it looks brand new.

Took my headliner there. Told them to do a good job, I would pay top dollar. 2 weeks later, I come back and my headliner is still in the pile. Ok. 2 more weeks go by, same story. To cut to the chase, 6 weeks later I finally got it after stopping by 3 times. Maybe thats industry standard?When I received my headliner, it looked like absolute crap. The material was stretched over the safety handle hubs where they retract to when not in use on the headliner. It was supposed to be glued to the headliner board to yield a resting space to the handle. The corners had folds and crevices. Edging on the perimeter looked like it was tailored by a chainsaw.When I told the older fella working there about the quality, he began repeatedly telling me that it was best a shop could do because factory has these huge irons that just press it in perfect. A human cant do that.I had it redone at Gotcha Covered and they did a superior job. I have pics of both if anyone wants to accuse me of lying, along with second opinion letters.At the end of the day, this was a customers car and as you can imagine it had caused me all sorts of problems, delays, and financial loses. Just want people to know.
