Its a challenge to find a TRUSTWORTHY mechanic nowadays - which is why Ive been bringing my Mercedes to John for several years. Hes honest, very knowledgeable, and his prices are fair. I usually spend about half of what Id spend at the dealership! Id recommend anyone with a Mercedes or BMW to try Specialty Repair.

Terrible job on my brakes - they are not genuine MB parts and they are very squeaky! Please check the prices with the others especially with RBM of Atlanta - I was in shock when I discover that front brake pads for my E-class cost at the official Mercedes Benz dealer $87 - John charge me for the fake one $98!!! MB is recommending changing the brake sensors with the pads but John only charge me for new sensors but according to hes expertise its not necessary to replace them BE AWARE

I gave them 5 stars because I cant give them 6 stars! These guys are absolutely the most honest, straight forward car repair people Ive ever dealt with. They are 50-80% cheaper than the MB shop and if you dont need something done, they wont do it and they will tell you why! If you have a MB or BMW and live within 30 miles of Alpharetta, these are your repair guys!

Specialty Repair was recommended to me by an acquaintance. This was the single worst mechanic experience that I have ever had! Upon picking up my SLK230 for a $600 repair, I also recived a $150 charge that I had not approved. Johns son contacted him by phone to explain the unexpected add-on, and when I explained my tight budget, john suggested that I had no business owning that car if I cant afford what he considered an inexpensive repair. He continued to tell me I need to find a new mechanic! While he did reverse the $150, and the $600 relay board repair did fix the problem, the demeaning customer service from someone who knows nothing about my life or finances is completely uncalled for and insulting!
