I needed a service from Gratiot towing and they were there within a half hour after I called them and they are very affordable so if it is late at night and you need a tow or any other service from them I would call Gratiot towing. I will use them again if and when the situation arises and I recommend you to do the same.

A couple of months ago we were hauling large equipment with our one ton dually and a fully loaded gooseneck trailer when one of our duals had the lugs sheer off. It was 10:30 at night along 127 after a long day of work and we needed to get off the road. The guys at Gratiot Towing not only towed our truck to the dealership in St John’s so it could get repairs, they loaned us their one ton with a gooseneck hitch so we could get our equipment off the road and transport it the next day. They didn’t hassle us for insurance, payment, or anything. When it came time to return the pickup and pay, the fees were very reasonable for services provided. They may be a little rough around the edges, but they helped us in a big pinch. Instead of giving us the shirt off their back, they literally gave us a truck they were driving. We will forever be grateful to them!

They towed my car and when i got it back a day later it barely stays on, i dont know if they know how to drive a manual or how they messed my car up so bad but this is not acceptable.

This place actually had the nerve to try and offer us $100 for our car, knowing we were in a bind, a tough spot, after the vehicle got towed by them. We thank God we were able to get the car out and back home. Again thank God!!!

I had an extremely bad situation get placed in my life and my vehicle got impounded i finally was able to get the money to get it out, mind you I called every day to check how much I owed, and i ran to the ATM only to be told that when i got back with the exacr amount i owed, down to the penny.... that i was over 100$ short!! Im a single mom of 3 and it literally drained me to come up with that kind of money, had to argue with one of the drivers (his name slips my mind at this time) in order to get him to accept the correct amount. After i called and told him we were sitting at his lot and we waited for over 1.5hours for him to show up ... 😐

We were away from home and Gratiot arrived within minutes to unlock our truck in less than 2 minutes! Very fast and friendly service that goes for the owner as well! Super nice guy! If this ever happens again I will be sure to call Gratiot first! Thank you so much!

They towed my car. And than are not open to pick it up. They told me it was !t their alma location and than when I got there they discovered it was in ithaca location. Fiasco. Good luck if you use them.

It I could pick 0 I would- called and it sounded like a baby had actually got the phone. Then a man got on and was really nice- said he would be right there! We waiting for over an hour. Called Alma towing and she got someone there as soon as she could. Gratiot never showed up, never called. Horrible

Mean people who take advantage of sad situations. Charged for three days - car in their possession less then 48 hours. Also charged a service fee in addition to the towing and rental not mentioned when called from out of town. Only one star as not allowed to post without one.

The employees lie. I use to have really good service now, theyre rude and wanted to call the police on us because we wanted to understand why it costed 200$ when it was not even a whole 24 hours..I dont know what happened to this company but everybody here seems to have a very unpleasant attitude.

Dealt with a young man who told me he was on his way to assist us with getting our tire off only to show up 2.5 hours later. With the same tools we had already been using and after bein told what was wrong, still tried to do as we had already done... ending result, zero help and a complete waste of time.

Was left on the side of the road for over an hour, then called by a company in Lansing that Gratiot Towing had called them and told them I was too far away, 16 miles from Ithica! I had to have someone from that company come, and thank God they did. In the time I waited my husband could have gotten there as all I needed was a can of gas due to a broken gas gage. So not impressed with this company!

No stars!! My husband called, after being stranded on the side of the road in negative wind chills, they said someone would out soon. An hour later, he spoke with them again and they said no one would be coming. He then called another company who got right out there and cost less. Thank you ASAP
