They have been closed to the public since the pandemic started. If you have any letters for them send them in the mail or you can drop them off at the office in the mail slot to the far left of the door. They are now open to the public but you have to scan the code on the door and wait for them to call you up to the office so they dont have too many people in there at one time.

Ill be honest, I disliked it because I had to take an anger management class there. $100 for 4 classes. The doors were always locked so getting in the building was always an ordeal. Also kinda hard to find when using GPS. They need a better way to show which building it is you are looking for because there are several different buildings for different things in the same area/ parking lot.

They never answer the phone for you to speak with someone. Ive been trying to get in touch with my caseworker and have not been able to do so. I left several messages with no return phone call

Wow.....cannot believe how rude and unprofessional these individuals are employed here. One would hope that human beings would show compassion or at least perform their job with some level of respect for others. Working in the human services field, these individuals need to be able to answer the phone and assist people in need with an attitude of empathy. A supervisor or measure of quality assurance for customer service needs to be conducted immediately.

I was told to contact some guy idk his name because he was my case worker and when I called him he was rude. First time being there and I didn’t like how they manage the place. The lady’s in the front were nice and so was the security but my case worker was trash. Didn’t even get my questions answered.

Can never get anyone on the phone. They say your call is important to them but tell you to try your call later. No one can answer a phone or at least let you wait on hold for the next available rep?

If you are poor, and in need of assistance, and you have paid into the system, look it what you pay into the system and expect to get a lot less!!! It will DEFINITELY be below the federal minimum standard that is legal for them to give you, and if you complain about the department to Harrisburg, it will just be sent back to the department that you complained about so that they dont get in any trouble. If you are the wrong race, expect to be discriminated against, and they will refuse to remove your race from your file. Definitely in need of oversight and accountability!!!! A perfect example of government corruption!!!

Their services suck. A friend of mine was denied Foodstamps because she made $0.01 more than the qualifying amount. Shes fine now, but at the time she really needed the help.

Was not a help with me was a friend that was there.

It is good because you do not have to go to the office much but on the other hand who does not know should be attended in person for the first time and access to one so as not to be lost going through needs as happened to me that I still do not know my social worker.
