Beautiful Apartments and a nice atmosphere to live. Management is nice and maintenance is great. Highly recommend living here.

On property belonging to Madison at Cedar Glen, an exposed hillside bank is funneling large amounts of soil into the street with each rainfall. This erosion has been caused by poor property management which now threatens the local water supply. Street drains lead to community drinking water supplies and absorb large amounts of this eroded soil. The degree of erosion is evidenced by the exposed concrete walkway about to crack off and also slide down the bank. To see this in person, go to the sign saying M 1168 A - P at the corner of Eisenhower and Washington Avenues, Allentown, PA 18103.This bothersome situation has been observed by neighbors and tenants for at least 3 years. Mud deposits are sitting in the intersection of Washington Avenue and Eisenhower Avenue on a regular basis. Mud has washed down the block to the next intersection of Washington and Lincoln Avenue. Vehicles are tracking the mud further. Rainfall carries this mud in a river onto properties of nearby neighbors, elderly folks who should not have to shovel mud from their driveway. If the Madison management is not aware of this longstanding problem, they are woefully unobservant. If they have seen the problem and have chosen to do nothing about it, they are irresponsible and have no place in a residential neighborhood. The impacts of inaction are unacceptable. Madison at Cedar Glen needs to demonstrate some environmental concern and take responsibility for a situation they have created by poor grounds management. They might begin by repairing the crumbling concrete curbing at the edge of this corner. After that, something to stop the flow of mud needs to be implemented.

Great apartment complex! Management is friendly, grounds are kept clean, apartments and spacious and nice!!
