We got our car tinted about 2-3 weeks ago, upon first appearance everything was alright. Within the last week or so, weve noticed some scratches and the tint is already peeling on the side of one or our windows. Would not recommend this buisness if you want your tint done correctly. Poor craftsmanship. Will not be returning.

Brought my car to thunder auto tint because its near by and wanna support local business, my car needed a retint and the price was pretty good in this part of town. after few days picking up my car, I noticed the shop forget to wipe down the chemical or glue for the tint, so I had to spend another 30 mins or so by cleaning the glue on my leather seats and some plastic parts. just wish the manny and his staff would pay extra detail about cleaning up customers car. thanks!

They did an excellent job on my 2020 Audi Q5. I got there early for my appointment and they took the car right away and started on it. The counter guy was very helpful with explaining the tiny differences. I recommend this company.

Theyre very flexible on scheduling and even let me keep my car in their garage overnight because I couldnt make it in time to pick it up before they closed. I applied tint to my car 3 years ago and it still looks like brand new. Not a single bubble. I went back there a year ago to get tint for my wifes car and it also looks like brand new and not a single bubble. Staff is very friendly and professional. They will work with you to make sure you get what you ask for. The price is also very reasonable. Other places want to charge way more. I recommend this to anyone.

Thunder tinted my 1997 Maxima with GT Solar Max on 8/14/12. The work looks great, everyone was very nice, and the price was right. Actually, the price is lower than all the other shops I researched, and I talked to quite a few before going to Thunder. Total work time was about two hours. I recommend them!

Took our car there to get the tint done. Upon completion we noticed bubbles all over the tint, especially in the corners. I pointed it out to the gentlemen who works there and he said it can take a few weeks for them to dry out. Ok, well they have NOT dried out and several of the corners have bubbles because of lint and dirt trapped underneath. The way the tint was cut is very shoddy as well, not a clean cut whatsoever! I could have done a better job myself and although they do have a 7 year warranty...WHY should we have to go back just to have the job done right? It should have been done right the first time.

This place is amazing, These guys did my tint back in 2011 and its like new. If Im not mistaken, that might be my Camaro. Great product and a reasonable price.

Had a 2:00pm appointment to strip my old tint off my car, once they pulled my car to the front I noticed damage to my paint and interior, my car had a big scratch on it and they broke one of my custom interior door pins. I confronted the so called owner and she took no responsibility for her company or her workers actions and denied any wrongdoing, my car is garaged 24/7 and I know for a fact that damage was not there from before. I have filed a complaint with the BBB.UPDATE: They gave the BBB no response and now have a deserved F rating.

I had my boat windows tinted here and the work was flawless. The curvature of the windows I thought would be an issue, nope, they handled it.

I read reviews and was made the choice to drive to Allen on my Saturday off work to get my tint done at Thunder Auto although I live in North Dallas. I dropped my car off with the assurance it would take 2 hours and would get a phone call last Saturday 7/28/2012. No phone call and I came back 3 hours later and they had broke my front windshield trying to remove my mirror and the tint looked horrible(a ton of trash and hair underneath the tint). I was very displeased and the owner said she would make it right. She had to contact her insurance on Monday to figure things out. She called me on Monday and said I would need to bring my car back to Allen M-Fr between 8-5 to get things corrected. I explained I work during the week but she had no resolve. This is the only person that deals with her insurance to fix the glass. I told her she needs to figure things out because I should not have to be put out to have my windshield replaced. She called back several times and this was her only fix to the situation. After I told her that I was not going to take a day of vacation so they could correct thier problem they corrected, miracously they found someone that could fix my windshield when it was convenient to me. She once again assured me she would take care of things and make it right. I just picked my car up with a new window, a bad tint job, no window film on my front windshield(since the glass was drying and they say unable to tint since it was new) and asked to pay full price. As a retail manager, I always make things right for my customers(even though it costs me sometimes). I asked the owner if she thought this was fair, and she said I could bring it back at my convenience to get the front tinted once the glass is dried. She offered zero discount, not even an appology for the inconvenience. She stated she took care of their error but she failed to realize that it cost me to days of my time and me catching rides back and forth to Allen and the tint job still doesnt look right. Buyer beware when you go to Thunderautotint. I tinted windows better than this in my garage when I was in high school. I am sure they will be out of business soon if this is the kind of disservice they provide the consumer.

Did an okay but not great job tinting a single window for me.

This place is not a good company to have work done I made a appointment with them for today at 4:30 and I talked to the guy this morning and he said he would be here at 4:30. So I take off work and get home and then the guy says he is not going to make it now that we could do it another day! I just took off work why would I trust you again. Thanks for giving me the heads up before I left work. What a joke!!!!!
