I brought a vintage family ring in for a stone replacement. When I received my ring back it sparkled like never before. They had secured all the other diamonds and cleaned the ring for me. These guys are a scam. The photos do not represent the actual colour and quality of the stones. The customer service is very poor as they do not respond to request for additional information although they initially will say they will provide more details and info but don’t and leave you with photoshopped or otherwise touched up photos. They also give the stones fake names like fancy to make it sound like it’s superior quality! I would stay away or negotiate very hard (like 90% off sticker price) to buy at value so as not to get scammed by these folks.

I came here to get my girlfriends necklace repaired . After speaking to Anthony we quickly came to the conclusion that it needed a new chain altogether . Not only did they match the same size of the previous chain they kept her old chain and charm as a keep sake for her which added to the surprise best boyfriend act of kindness . Every worker I talked to was extremely nice and very accommodating! I didn’t purchase any jewelry, but got my ring fixed from the jeweler and it looked beautiful upon return! They quoted me about a day to get it fixed, however the jeweler went home sick early and I had to wait an extra day, which is no inconvenience at all, and they still gave me a very nice discount. All I have to say about Brian and his team is WOW! My fiance & I came in last February and were curious how much it would cost to remove an inscription and add in a new one onto a family heirloom ring and then we were curious to inquire about rings comparable to something we had found at Costco. Brian graciously showed us around the store and said that he could make something similar to the Costco ring, but better, for the same price. We werent ready to start on either ring, but once June came around we were so excited to come back and see Brian again. From the second we walked in for both of our rings, Brian always remembered us and made us feel as special as the first time we came in. He spent the time with us to really make sure we got what we both wanted, even designing my ring from scratch and letting us see it as it continued on throughout the production process. My fiances ring was finished first and South Bay did a GREAT job modernizing it and upgrading it to what it is now. Its like a brand new ring, its perfect, the inscription was just the way I had imagined it and my fiance is thrilled with it. Yesterday, we got to pick up my ring. It is so beautiful and it is bigger than I could ever have imagined it to be with our budget and I was speechless when I saw it. I never ever imagined that something that perfect would ever belong to me- it is truly a treasure that I am going to cherish for the rest of my life. Great Jewelry shop. Very nice people working there - Im not sure who they are, but the 2 Gentleman helping customers are very nice, assertive, friendly & they definitely know their stuff.I also like that they lock their doors, even during business hours. They buzz you in when you get to their door... Just an extra security option that, I think makes people feel more comfortable.I like their selection too. My 86-year-old dad received a very nice watch as a gift from my brother. The pin holding the band in place had come out. We tried to find one as a replacement and were referred to South Bay Jewelry for the repair. The store was very clean. The owner was finishing business with another customer but we were greeted immediately as we entered.After a short wait, during which time the other customer and the owner interacted warmly with each other, I explained what my dad was looking for. We handed over the watch and bands. We waited about a minute and a half and then the watch was handed back...COMPLETELY FIXED!Not only did the fix work for my dad, the owner was kind and generous and made both my dad and me feel comfortable and very well taken care of. This was my first experience to have themreplace -2- watch pins, replace a few missingstones, and clean my watch.I also asked them to clean a long Silver chain with a hanging silver and small round gem stones in the pendant.The jeweller did not remember to clean my pendant, yet did a great job cleaning the chain. I had purchased two rings under the previous owner. One of the rings needed repair and the other was made of tungsten and we out grew the ring. South Bay Jewelry did not hesitate. They repaired my ring at no cost and replaced the tungsten ring with a new size and only changed for the shipping. The customer service was wonderful.

Very pleasant experience! Brian is very professional and friendly. I bought with me some jewelry and wanted to know their value and both rings with Diamond were about half karat weight and if I was not in the rush of giving them up, both can go up to around 1000 but I really need the money and Brian offered me a good deal with free cleaning of my wedding band. Wish I had account with BOA since they charged me $8 fee for cashing the check but all in all, it was great experience and I highly recommend you check this place out!
