The employees were very welcoming. DDS Hiroshi Ueno was very informative and accommodating. He explained in detail the entire process and made us very comfortable with the plan going forward. 5 stars!!

This place is the best place to get your braces! Everyone is extremely nice and friendly. I felt like I was walking in and hanging out with family and friends. It’s such a homey feel! They take the time to help you learn what exactly you’re getting into and what they will be doing. They are also very safe and clean and make sure you feel safe with COVID around. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this location. :)

Not pleased with the overall experience to date. Hesitant from the first encounter with the office manager. Gave them a chance and have regretted it since. We are too far in now to switch to another ortho. Terrible customer service on numerous occasions. Terrible communication to parents. You never hear from them on what they were doing, progress, or what is needed. The vet does a better job..Lack of follow ups to make sure appointments are scheduled timely as compared to other providers.

Everyone is very friendly. The initial consultation was more than I expected for my daughter which is great as Id rather have everything explained upfront in one appointment rather than multiple appointments. Check in with their text system is convenient and my daughter is usually on time when they say she is to go inside the building. They are great about letting me know how long to anticipate each appointment so I can plan.

We had some confusion about what was going to happen and when at first but it was cleared up quickly and efficiently. The staff was very helpful and my daughter feels so comfortable. I highly recommend them.Update: Every time I come here its something different with their protocol. Yesterday I was told that they have an automated system and I shouldve texted to let them know I arrived. We were 8 minutes early and sent to our car to wait almost 20 minutes past our appointment time. Theres nothing in the appointment reminder email about this texting system nor in the questionnaire I have to fill out each time before going. I was there 5 days prior and there was no mentioning of any text system. They dont tell me anything about what theyre doing that day, or tell me what they werent able to do. They tell my 8 year old daughter (the patient) who has no idea how to properly relay that information to me. I changed my 5 star rating to 3 only because my daughter feels comfortable with the staff.Second update: We continue to be let down with the lack of professionalism here. In the last couple of months they have confused us with other patients, told us to come for appointments they werent prepared for (not having the piece of equipment they needed in order to install that equipment, the entire point of the appointment), no communication. While waiting I overheard another parent complaining about not being update about their child as well. This place is HORRIBLE and if it werent for our insurance wed absolutely be going elsewhere 3/18/21

We love this office! Wonderful staff, and their appointment times actually mean what they say. You dont have to wait around forever to get in. The women in the administrative side are an absolute pleasure to work with and make sure to thoroughly present all options to you, including breaking up payments without shoving CareCredit down your throat. And theres always snacks in the waiting room and spare toothbrushes for just before seeing the dentist. Very happy to be doing business with these guys. Definitely recommend!

My experience at orthodontic experts has been so great! From Judy at the front desk to the staff in the back everyone was super nice, friendly and accommodating. I went fairly often throughout my treatment and it ended Up feeling like home! The doctor is a perfectionist, which is good if you want perfect teeth :) He is always transparent, explained everything thoroughly, and the staff had a great sense of humor whenever I tried to get away with wearing my rubber bands less. I was driving from Algonquin to Rockford but now they have an office in town. I highly recommend orthodontic experts to everyone.

Never have problems scheduling appointments that fit my schedule with this location. The staff is always friendly and work very efficiently. I’m always able to check in and check out right on time to make it back to work since I schedule my appointments during my lunch break. Love it.

This is an amazing place. Both the staff and dentist are VERY friendly and they always have appointments avalible for your needs at the front desk. It is very good place for caring to your braces. Everything is good, except it kinda smelled. But, recently they are getting better about the smell which is absolutely great.

Highly recommend this place. Ask for Teresa, she will take care of you from start to finish. One family member getting Invisalign and one getting braces, both experiences have been great.

First of all the blasted my child with radiation. The did two panoramic x-rays on my 12 year old. I’ve Learned that it’s illegal to expose someone to that much radiation in one visit. I’m disgusted in this practice and will be seeking legal actions

I met with Theresa and she was so sweet! I have had a couple orthodontic exams in the past, but nothing like this. This was thorough and informative. Heba did my invisalign scan and she was also great :) They were also flexible with cost. Im will be moving forward with care and I am so excited about it!

We started our procedures in Rockford, the staff are always smiling and courteous . The environment is kid friendly, clean They were able to get my daughter braces with an affordable down payment and a monthly plan for the remainder balance. I absolutely love how they communicate every step of the procedure before,during,and after for the 2 year plan. We have now moved to the Algonquin location and im still just as pleased with this office as Rockford, plus its only a 10min drive now. The place is nice and they have a point system that lets you earn gift cards and they have complimentary snacks and drinks plus the staff and the employees are Amazing epessicaly the ones at the front.

I am a paranoid person. So when I was told that I was getting braces, I was worried. But once I got in there, my nerves calmed down. While it was a bit uncomfortable, it’s was quick putting braces on. The ladies there were quite nice and they care.

Had a great experience with Dr. Gary Sexson. He fixed my daughters teeth in a matter of months and it wasnt as expensive as I got quoted from other Orthodontists in Crystal Lake and Algonquin. Highly Recommend Dr. Sexson for anyone looking for an orthodontist in crystal lake area.

We went for a consultation after reading they offer phase one braces for children as young as 7. First they asked for all of my personal information, including my social (I declined to give it) for a consultation. Weird. They made us do x-rays, on my 11 year old, not standard. After exposing my son to the X-ray, the ortho refused to treat my son until all of his molars were out! I found the gentlemen to be ARROGANT and rude. It was not the old owner it is the current owner. Not considerate of people’s time. Very sloppy with paperwork, front staff was also rude. They offer gift cards for good reviews, that’s why there are so many.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. The doctor was fine but the staff sucks. They are always hitting your mouth when removing rubberbands and are always talking and not paying attention to the patient. The overall office is very very UNPROFESSIONAL If you have a choice between here and somewhere else please choose the other option. The office u am talking about now is the new one. This place is disgusting. It smells horrible. I went for a consultation and was put off the moment I went in the door. I didn’t feel right. Their x-ray machine was on the fritz, so they couldn’t finish my appointment. I think that was a blessing in disguise.

I was Dr. Sexsons patient 2 years ago. Him and his staff werent friendly and didnt engage with me much. I felt rushed through, and I barely ever saw Sexson unless my parents were present. Once I got my braces off, my bottom permanent retainer fell off shortly after. My mom called numerous times to ask for a return call from Sexson but she never received one. Since then, my teeth have shifted and I am at a new orthodontist getting them corrected. Highly recommend researching other orthodontists before going to this one.

My son was a patient for nearly three years for his braces. During this time - we were not very impressed with Dr. Sexson nor his staff. They consistenly gave my son poor grades on his oral hygiene - which is quite ironic as I work in a dental office (they didnt know this of course) and he was receiving cleanings and exams every three months, using an ETB and threaders... Going thru braces and retainers/head gear/etc is a LONG process and you are locked into your Dr once you begin financially - I encourage you to do some shopping around before you choose Dr. Sexson. The only times he spent quality time - if any - with my son is when I went in back with him - his assistants did more then he did! Finally the braces are off and we can cut our ties with this office! :(
