Unreal. 45 minutes prior to close I’m told they cannot laminate something for me until tomorrow. Why is this task different than labeling a package and shipping it out? The woman working was not turning away customers that needed packages shipped. Just ridiculous I will never go here again, I’ll drive 10 miles out of my way to avoid this business. Plus this “worker” just stares at me blankly, not even caring to give an explanation on why they can’t flip a machine on and run a lamination sheet through it which I know it takes two minutes of time. Might as well stare at me and tell me you don’t want to do your job. I’m sorry to whoever runs this location you must be struggling to find competent employees.

I love this place! I have a lot of business to do at the UPS Store, so I frequent this location frequently. The staff are awesome!

Anthony was the absolute best! This store is the best UPS store I have ever been to. I had to ship $300 worth of boxes because I’m moving and Anthony was incredibly helpful and helped us find the cheapest option!

So just went in to ship 2 small motorcycle seats, weight is 6lbs and in two small boxes. They needed to tape them and charged me $2 to tape them and said they need to use a lot of tape in order for it to arrive safely. I have shipped an entire motorcycle torn apart between USPS (which is much cheaper but close to early) and UPS in Schaumburg on Roselle rd and this UPS FOR JUST THIS 1 TIME. NEVER had the other UPS store EVER charged me for tape. Say away from this UPS location, I’m betting lots and lots of customers have this random added charge of materials on their receipt and they just don’t know it. Support USPS or UPS locations that don’t try and rob you for every extra penny.

Great experience, was greeted as I came in and was provided great customer service. Zach was great and was extremely knowledgeable and very kind.

I have an online business and I am ALWAYS at the UPS Store in Algonquin dropping off packages. The staff is wonderful to work with and are always quick to assist. They are professional and polite and it is an absolute pleasure every time I go to the UPS Store in Algonquin. Even if there is a line when I walk in, the staff will welcome me with a friendly greeting and assure me that they will be with me as soon as they are able. The staff goes above and beyond! They take care of my packages and are always willing to provide me with extra boxes for my products. I have used their notary services twice and it was super easy. The fee for the service was nominal but the service was phenomenal! I highly recommend the UPS Store in Algonquin! Thank you Zach and all of the staff for always making me feel welcome!

I wanted to highlight the incredible service from Zach at this store. He helped me with a insurance dispute that took over 3 months to solve. At the end of the day, Zach helped push through everything and kept me looped in the progress from day one. This level of customer care is rarely heard of, which only deserves the best of my review. I recently had a statue clock shipped from the store. I have to say it was one of the best packing jobs I have seen, real time and effort was put into making sure the clock arrived intact. I highly recommend this store for auction buys as they take great care to make sure it gets to you timely and in one piece !

The employee who helped me treated me with thinly veiled contempt, especially when I asked about less expensive shipping options.All the employees laughed and made jokes about an older woman, as soon as she had left, because she had been talking at a specific employee for a seemingly long time.I know low-paid customer service jobs arent fun. I know listening to unsolicited opinions and being a captive audience isnt fun. I dont expect stellar customer service.But dont make customers feel like youre going to start gossiping about them as soon as they leave. And dont try to shame us for wanting the cheapest deal.If youre going to be salty, do it after work hours.

The UPS store in Algonquin is always very helpful and professional. I went in there today to print something and Emmanuel was very patient with me , took his time and explained the best way to print a pdf file that I had in email. And the price couldnt be beat - it was under $2.00. I highly recommend this store for all your printing needs.

Yesterday I went to return an Amazon item. The store was closed and the registers were shut off already. The front door was still open because a ups truck was loading up. I asked the store clerks if I could leave the package with them and said I trust they will scan it in the morning so I dont need to return. They agreed and in the morning they scanned it and I got the return done without coming back. I realize they probably went out of policy to do that but its great customer service like that which counts. Thanks guys!

Unfortunately I had to deal with this place twice. the first time:the gentleman and the lady that work the morning had absolutely no idea on how to help me. I stood there for an hour sourcing my own answers and when their manager showed up he got me out in 5 minutes. Thank the heavens this manager showed up. The other two showed such disrespect, lack of motivation to be there. it was ridiculous to the point where I could say Ive never seen any customer service rep act that way... The second time I had to deal with this same bunch was 4 days later when I called them only to find out that they lost my package in an internal process. The easy way to say that is the package never made it out of their office they lost it somewhere and it was going to be another 48 hours before they would have an answer for me. I called them again. as no one called me only for them to tell me they found it but it had not shipped yet. I laughed when they said I could not pick up my own package because it was now in their care and they had responsibility over it. Only 10 days later did the package finally get delivered thanks UPS. I strictly use FedEx now.

This is my preferred drop off point for UPS since I live in a locked building. Everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell you are coming too much when I walk in today and Zach says good morning Mr Turk and goes and gets my package before asking. Great customer service.

The most convenient way to ship by far. Easy to get to, they offer many services, the people there treat you like family. I am able to get in and out in minutes. I have had them help me package items, help me choose the best method to ship, and have tracked so many successful shipments they are my delivery method of choice. Prices are very reasonable. I buy from Amazon and use the UPS store for my returns. I also work from home and I have to deliver documents all over the US I prefer the UPS store in Algonquin.

I drop off packages for UPS shipping frequently here. Most times my packages are already labeled. They are always friendly and give me a receipt verifying I dropped it off. I also have purchased supplies here as well. The prices are bit more than typical, however, they have sizes you typically cannot find and worth it for convenience reasons.

The whole store was great. The notary Patrick was especially nice and helpful. I’d like to come back here again!😄

I dont normally write bad reviews but the notary at this store was so unbelievably rude that i felt compelled to write one. The notary was brash, with no social grace and said a document i submitted was written incorrectly but offered no details on how to use the proper channels to get it written legally. His colleague felt so bad about how he treated me that he stepped in and offered try Legal Zoom. I used to ship packages here all the time and now i will not step foot in this place again.

For service and standard UPS shipment, yes, theyre fine - very friendly, very helpful. But by no means should you ship internationally via UPS stores for what they say are US Post Office (USPS) rates. I was charged $ 80 to ship a package to the UK via what I was told was a USPS first class/airmail rate. The next day I shipped an identical package to the UK, only from a US post office. The price for first class/airmail to the UK was $ 33.95. Moral of the story: never, never, never ship USPS from a UPS store. Ever. Go to an actual post office.

If the ups driver would do their job. I wouldn’t even be at the ups store. I was home the whole time no knock or call just a note.

They cannot give a receipt or ANYTHING to acknowledge that Ive dropped off a package with a prepaid label on it that is being sent via USPS ???? Whaaaat??? That makes NO sense. That policy definitely needs to be updated🙄

Everything is great except that one woman who currently works here disrespect the customer and have a really bad attitude. Next time Ill refuse her service. Maybe theres no next time at all. I goes to this UP store several times a week sometimes a day! Well I did not know just how exceptional the service is at this UPS store until I went to the one in Crystal Lake at Terra Cotta and Walkup! See my review of it! Back to this highly professionally run business that makes dropping off a UPS package a walk in the park! Service is always FAST! If there is a line seems like there is always someone in back to come out and help give the fast service customers expect! Packing prices are more than fair and they do a great job on securing item and package!

These guys are great, they know what they are doing and they are always happy to help tape something or box something up better than how you brought it in if they see a sub par packing job. I would recommend this store to anyone who needs to ship something of value.

I walked into this UPS store near my home to ship a cell phone. I handed the person the cell phone in a box I said I wanted it shipped the cheapest way possible with a tracking number, he told me it would be $11.16 had he told me it was going to be a Nother nine dollars to put my box inside of another box and put a shipping label on it I would have walked out of the store and said no thank you. At no time did he tell me the price was any different than $11.16 to ship it he just told me my total was $19 $.17. When I asked them why it was almost double what he told me he said they had to pack it with bubble wrap and put it in another box I told them the phone was already in a tightly sealed box I don’t need bubblewrap to protect the box the phone was in. I would not recommend going to this UPS store

False hours. I drove here from Crystal Lake because I needed to mail 2 packages tonight. I came here at 6:25pm on a Saturday. Their online hours say that their open till 8pm. I wasn’t the only one walking up to the store either, I saw a few others attempt to do business here the 2 minutes I was in the parking lot.

The folks at this UPS Store and very welcoming, extremely knowledge, and know the real meaning of customer service excellence. Wholeheartedly recommend this community business.
