As most computer problems normally happened, on a late Friday afternoon my MAC crashed. I had Bootcamp loaded on the MAC and somewhere/somehow something went real bad.I emailed Tom on Sunday morning, simply to get on his radar for Monday morning. Little did I expect he would email back within 15 min or so...again, on a Sunday morning! He suggested I call and go over with him the issues. He patiently laid out the possible issues and potential outcomes, which varied from good to dreadful. On the both the MAC and Bootcamp side was data and pictures I had not backed up. Tom said I could bring the laptop by on Sunday for him to look at. Again...on a Sunday.I will shorten the story...Tom worked on the laptop during the week, saved data on both the MAC and Bootcamp side. He was in constant contact with me during the process. His detail to customer service as outstanding! From a technical standpoint, he made everything right and was in complete communication with me the entire time.Hopefully, I will not have a reason to use Tom again:) However, if ever a need for computer help again, I would call Tom immediately.

On a Monday morning, it was just me and my 2008 MacBook Pro. We were working on a google doc and the keyboard quit. I immediately emailed Tom because I already trust Tom. I approve the order. Due to my schedule, Tom picked my new computer from the Apple Store on Friday. He swings by my home office (with mask and gloves due to COVID) to pick up my existing equipment which includes a 2008 iMac.Tom brings everything back to his office where he does the switcheroo and integrates the new and existing Macs. On Saturday, Tom delivered and installed everything with mask and gloves. The whole process was enjoyable and took less time and effort than I ever thought possible. I’m grateful, and I avoided costly mistakes. I’ll contact Tom when I’m ready to purchase a new 2021 iMac.

Im probably the Gurus biggest client, his wife. Im something of a power computer user due to my various work requirements (clients with proprietary platforms, complex protocols and esoteric software). I can USE but I dont UNDERSTAND and I dont want to. My brain is not wired for the tech age. Every day my productivity is hampered by some sort of annoying pop-up (your iCloud storage is almost full; enter a password for @#%$%@# to continue; force quit iTunes 40 times, etc.). Then there are the questions of hackers and spammers, memory management, backing up, where did my photos go, etc. I consult him on a daily basis to keep me getting things done, while wondering, WHAT DO OTHER PEOPLE DO? Trust me, got computer issues? Call Tom. There is no such thing as a stupid question.

Tom fixed the unfixable. When Apple told me to replace the iMac Pro laptop because it was getting slow, Tom knew right away what the problem was and updated the hardware without having me spending a couple of thousand dollars just for a new Laptop smell.
