Every week this restaurant depot location is understaffed in the morning two lines open for over 100 shoppers at 7am is beyond ridiculous!! Most businesses have multiple carts so 100 hundred shoppers can easily equate to 100+shoppers trying to checkout between 2 open lanes😡😡😡. I’ve literally been in the checkout line for over 30 minutes!!!

Was very good. Lot of variety with good prices but u can save some if u buy in bulk. Over all I have almost everything you need in your kitchen

Horrible! Lines are crazy, there are never carts. The staff does not care. I have requested sliced beef knuckle like they have in Dallas Forth Worth Texas, it would save me so much time, but they said no.I also requested white corn, its distributed from NY and they have it in Texas, but not Virginia?They never have trays. The store is a complete mess. You can never find cups, plates....they do not have it organized like other Restaurant Depot stores.At times I have to go to Chantilly Restaurant Depot because they dont have trades in Alexandria....that is a big waste of time visiting two stores in one day. There is no consistency. I always go to this store wondering if I will find the things I need.

Although this place is always busy, you can still get in, and out. It is close to my business, and very convenient. I recommend this company to all that has a restaurant business. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

I’ve been to the Eisenhower location a few times now and every time, it’s hard to find a cart, the lines are terrible, and I have yet to find the items that they’re supposed to have IN STOCK. Regular items, not just sale items (but those as well). I can’t do business if I constantly have to run to different locations to find things! I end up just having to order from Amazon (which has competitive prices on pretty much everything we use from here anyway). I’d rather do business here, but…I’m getting tired of having to work so hard for what should be basic. Restaurant. Supplies.

Furst time here and I was pleasantly surprised at the huge amount of foods in big sizes at a fantastic cost. Found all that was needed

My first time here and was not impressed with anything about this place...First it was really hard to find a cart and they were all trashed...Then you go inside to find what youre after and there is little signage to point you in the right direction...Pallets are stored in the middle of the aisles...Shelves are empty and there is nobody to help you...You see some people around but they dont understand what youre saying...Forklifts are flying around everywhere and the mens room really needs attention...Trash piled up in the parking lot...Carts everywhere in the parking lot...Hope my boss never sends me there again...Spent 1200.00 and couldnt get any help with my second cart...Customer should come first...profits come first here...

Had delivery appt for noon. Arrived and checked in at 8am. Warehouse Supervisor argued appt wasnt til 3pm. Didnt mt til 3pm. Will never put theyre product on my truck again. Alexandria, VA location.

Easy access plenty of space for backing up they have overnight parking appointments for 8 am I was out with paperwork by 6 am we need more places like these

The staff are courteous and helpful. The food selection is good.The customers that frequent the location...NOT SO MUCH. I honestly dont know how the staff deal with such rudeness and self entitlement from so many shoppers. I have been pushed out of line I have been run into with no apology. Yesterday, one customer took the 2 carts he was using pushed them through the parking lot and just walked off...I watched as one of them traveled through the parking lot and hit a car. He didnt give one care. So be careful when you go there. Apparently its every man for himself. I do wish there was one line that took people with only a few items, that would be much more efficient.

Everyone seems like they don’t want to be here. Waited to be assisted in aisle, no one came. Went to both, no one acknowledged me. Asked a guy working for help and he said “ he wasn’t sure If he was able to help” it wasn’t until I said never mind I’ll climb the leader my self to get it that he wanted to help. The lady at customer service was in such a rush and I’m not sure the reason I have to fill out my PERSONAL info to sit on the counter and no one checks it if all she is going to do is give me a piece of paper anyways. That’s very uncomfortable. The last straw was a lady who didn’t acknowledge me the second time I approached her decided on my way out that she wanted to say hello and ask for my receipt. The entire time I watched her she didn’t ask another person for their receipt nor was the guy directly behind me asked. As a store manager in the grocery business, I’ll never shop this location again and will be sure to let others know as well.

Obviously they have almost everything you need for a restaurant. the only thing that I have an issue with is the number of cashiers. every time I go there, there are never enough cashiers. I recently waited 20 minutes in line. I am sure it is a break thing and I am sure that is a union involved, but give me a break.

It will be nice if little more cleaner and more friendly employee.

Once you get a dock fairly fast, before then its a waiting period. But at least you can buy bulk items whole u wait🥴

Ive been a member for many years. Considering the price for quality, I have had many of my friends to shop there. Once you try the meat at this place, youd become a lifetime customer. Prepare to take some medication before entering here. There are supplies in all the aisles, people there are rude and half the time they dont have in stock what you need. I would recommend going to another location if you can.

MY CAR SMASHED AND GRABBED IN RESTURANT DEPOT ALEXANDRIA....I went last Friday to get meat for a family gathering on the weekend. I parked my car in the parking lot no more than 15 minutes. When I went back to the car, I found rear door window broken (smash and grab) for my car and another customers car also! they stole my briefcase with laptop in it, which has all my work stuff in it! Its a disaster for me, and not mention the monetary value for the stolen things, at least $1000, and they did the same for the other car. When the police arrived and gave us a case number, they told us that this is the 5th steeling incident happened in the lot this month only.RESTURANT DEPOT is responsible for what happened, because they knew that this awful thing happens all the time for their customers, as I knew later from other customers, and they do nothing.They should install cameras everywhere or at least signs to warn there customers about not leaving their valuables in the cars.

By far the rudest receivers I’ve seen! Seen one smack an employee in the head for doing what he was told by others! This same receiver, I’m thinking a shift lead, talked down to every fellow trucker! Someone needs to teach him some respect! Or better yet us truckers need to stop delivering here and let them suffer! This isn’t a new thing looking back through the comments! They don’t want to treat drivers with respect, then they don’t get products to sell!

Great place if you have a small restaurant, food truck or a catering business.

Only complaint is the waiting in line. I usually have to go to RD during service and need checkouts to be faster or more of them. Because I need to be in and out as quickly as possible. Great prices and selections.

Restaurant isnt far from the expressway with reasonable parking in the back. Check in is easy, sign in clipboard outside of the office. They call and come out to truck to give a dock assignment. Only drawback is 4 working docks and their dock space is extremely small. Otherwise no issues

Opens at 6:00AM on the weekdays and that is the best time to go. Wide selection of various goods for use in food service. I really like this place.

This place is the worst customer service I ever had so far. They put on hold for just looking for 64 ounce bowl and never get back to me until I was so tired to wait for almost an hour. Common, is that how you running the business?!

A to Z fresh, frozen, boxed, bottled everything. On the dry side the same was true.Do remember . . . this is a huge warehouse. If you get cold easily be aware the colder section is huge.

Terrible service. Called to find out if they have an item in stock and she put me on hold for 20 min. Called back and she hung up on me. Called again and was put on hold for a manager, but no one answered. Still havent found out if they have the item.

Drivers, sign in. And they will eventually call you for you to dock. Got there at 1045 and waited with another driver way too long for an open dock. Um, there are four dock doors open? Oh, and your load must be separated into same size and kinds on separate pallets.

Restaurant Depot has just about anything you could want at really great prices. I was debating ordering a few items off Amazon for the convenience, but RD had them significantly cheaper. My only complaint is that sometimes items can be a little hard to find if you dont already know where things are or what you are looking for.

Horrible experience. I purchased a brisket that had a price on a sign different than at the cashier and was charged $106 for it. I tell the cashier that I want to return it and he tells me to go to customer service. I go to customer service and the lady there was super rude and had no manners and tells me that she cant help me and tells me to go and see a manager if I wanted to. The manager helped me out but the customer service Lady was horrible. Will never go back...

All you have to do is ask! The staff at Restaurant Depot are so helpful. Cant find something? Ask and theyll tell you where it is or check to see if its in stock? Made a mistake and need to return something? As long as you stick to their timing policies, theyll make it happen. Need help rolling your cart to your vehicle? Just ask and there are hands to help. Nice people, good product.

I bought blender machine two weeks ago and I used one time but it has time to blend when the time is finish she has to wait long time to start again so my wife doesn’t like that. I went to the restaurant depot and exchange the blender machine but they didn’t do it. Also the manager was very rude and unfriendly. Be careful when you buy any kinds of equipment.

People inside de seafood dept need to learn some manners. I was opening a box of shrimp because I did not see any blocks outside and two guys came screaming at me like a was going to steal something. Ask polite instead of screaming at customers using offensive words....

Great deals and lots of options. Remember to wear a heavy coat and gloves for the refrigerated section. Check prices and write it down before you check out. Sometimes items are put in the wrong shelves or price labels are wrong.

With todays technology. They need to do something to make the lines go faster. The employees seams to be under pay, no one cares. The managers seams to have too much to do. The forklifts are all around customers. Mark my words someone will get hurt and they have to pay big

Hope this store can create a system for folks with less than 5 items to go in and out quickly. Lines are understandably long and takes time to finish checking out one customer. Thats not an excuse to ignore the guy with a couple things on his/her cart.Customer service is terrible at this location especially at the register.Takes forever for a manager or supervisor to walk up and put in a code. Theres got to be a go to person always available immediately to give the code but most times you have no choice but to wait 2 to 3 precious minutes for a code and he goes away only to be called back.

I brought the deiver, the attachment for 10:00 am stayed right up until 7:30 pm very slowly working people at the unloading! A terrible company of 10 trucks for the whole day unload, the queue of trucks is always worth it! It is better for such companies to put a mark in the black list, and never again to come here!

I am a regular costumer at Restaurants Depot and today one of the cashiers named Debbie was rushed also she had really bad costumer service, She doesnt attend a costumer like she is supposed too. Also the Manager named Alicia didnt help much, instead of having a solution to the problem she sent me to another cashier which is named Maryann which was about have her brake but I liked the way she attended me and from the people who attended me today she is the only one that did her job well. This situation was frustrating because we came to that store to spend money and I received really bad costumer service and it made me think if I want to come back next time.

Been coming here for 15 + years watched them move and grow its always a hit it miss getting help on meats or frozen stuff but Im used to that unfortunately today very mad Prices are rung up wrong 1- box if wings rung up as $85.19 and the shelf said $55.00 told the cashier said said not my issue talk to Ingrid she told another person to take care if it Anna well Anna said go take a picture WTF not my job so I did come back and another woman looked at it and said its $55.00 Ingrid now says show me I already did do I take her back and she said all of it is in the wrong place not my fault she said I have to gets different one if I want the$55.00 one do I picked s different brand and it now rings up at $39.84 these two woman are very rude ignorant and bias if any other person would have gotten for that price and there customer personality ducks they should be doing work that doesnt interfere with customers 2 thing I have gotta pack of cherry tomatoes and a bigger type and the cashier rung both up for a $1.35 this place anymore is a joke dc is getting to be a better buy
