DisappointedWhen I decide to get tractor, I took my oldest son. He suggested “Red Dirt”. I had read the reviews on this place and did see some negative comments about service. I always look at reviews. So I wasn’t really wanting to go, because I did pass there about a month before that visit and since I wasn’t buying anything the attention I received was less than positive. He showed me a sale on the internet for the tractor I was interested in. I figured it since it was Mahindra and it was brand new I wouldn’t need service for a long time. On purchase day I was treated very well.I purchased the tractor on May 29th 2021. I didn’t use it much, it had maybe half an hour on the timer at purchase. At 10 hours I noticed there was a cylinder leaking on the loader boom. At 13.7 hours it got worse, I call, and was instructed to bring it in for warranty work. I dropped it off early morning on July 8th a Thursday and couldn’t get a straight answer on when might be complete. The sales man told me that both boom would have to be replaced. I call that following Monday to inquired about the progress of the repair, at which point, I felt the person, was not happy about the inquiry. He told me that the tractor has not been looked at, which I pointed out to him the problem and leak clear as day. No progress on the estimated time for completion. I really hated to call beyond this point, I could tell this was not going to be pleasant situation. I been in customer service for 30 years. I waited til end of the week on Friday to call which I really hated to do. I wanted an update and to inform them I was going to be off shore for a week. First I told them on Monday I would be leaving, and was rapidly cut off “it will not be ready Monday”! Before I could say I wouldn’t be back til Friday, at which point I was told “it can stay here”. I thought about it the whole time I was gone and I was stressing about having to call back when I returned. I made the call, I inquired about the tractor was told that parts haven’t arrived. It’s been over two weeks now for a simple hydraulic cylinder replacement. I ask the if I could just get my tractor and I would have it fixed else where, even at my own expense. I didn’t want to deal with them anymore. I was put on hold, the person came back said the part did indeed show up. So I told them I can’t seem to get a straight answer on when the tractor would be complete, I was rudely told “that’s what I am trying to tell you”! I was told it would be ready the next day or Monday and they would call. The next morning I was told it was ready and I picked it up. I only talk when I had too and finally retrieve my tractor and leave that place.,The bill showed one cylinder was replaced. (Not two as I was told in the beginning) I marked the bolts on the cylinder ends, and they remained untouched. I also marked the fittings on the cylinder they also were untouched. The leak is still there, and the tractor was low on hydraulic fluid, wasn’t even showing up in site glass. The tractor timer had advanced one hour. So over two weeks, low hydraulic fluid that might have destroyed something if not checked and and extra hour run time on a tractor for a leaking cylinder. This is why people don’t like dealing with small family owned businesses, there isn’t any accountability. Customer Service?!? Just a claim not fact.Alessandro HebertUpdate: as you can see from the response from the owner, just proves my point. No need to try and explain the unprofessional response from him. Just glad that in life we have the option to never involve ourselves with terrible businesses again.

Great buying experience!! Ashton, sales rep, was extremely polite and professional. Go see him. Byron, the owner, spent quite a bit of time explaining the details of the tractor and the implements especially concerning maintenance and warranty information. Chris, the technician, did an outstanding job showing the many functions of the tractor and implements. Overall a 5+ experience. I will leave another review on the tractor after I’ve used it for some time but the purchasing experience was top notch.

First time buyer! Checked website prior to calling. Prices were as advertised and additional equipment was added per my needs with no problem. Salesman was very knowledgeable and helped with all my questions. Usually wouldnt buy before I see something but was offshore and deal was done in no time. Thanks for the painless purchase. Only thing I dont like is having to wait til I get back to land in a week to see my new tractor. Thanks Ashton!

Buying the tractor from them was great, but 3 weeks and 16 hours on the tractor later i need warranty work done. Im 2 hours away and asked them to meet me half way to pick the tractor up since im already loosing money because i use the tractor for my business and i was told no, no big deal right? Im already loosing money so whats a little more gonna hurt. So now I’m out of a tractor, have to spend $1100 a week on rental fees and have to send it to a different dealer. Hopefully they’ll make things right.

Now the facts: insurance tractor 2020 model with 19 hours! Tree damaged fenders, seat, steering, dash. First they refused to release FEL, but after showing serial number and proof they release it. Right away noticed missing pins for FEL (inspection pics showing pins in place), not big deal...they sold me a used one and a new one ;)They loaded those on my trailer, what was very nice! I offered to pay for that but they refused. Also like a plus had nice conversation with a lady at front desk, she seemed genuine. Now the worse part...stolen parts: battery terminal, neutral switch, all relays, 50amp fuse, 90dgr hydraulic fitting (all fluid gone), multifunction switch, flasher relay, FEL pins, clutch pedal pin...what I found at first look. Also starter is bad, clearly swapped with an old one.Can tell they started working on it for insurance estimate...missing many bolts and so on...but didn’t stopped there.Yes there is a possibility that the owner took all that, swapped some parts (also battery is from 2017, in a 2020 tractor)...anyway I’ll talk with previous owner, insurance company, and auction inspector. From your answer I understand you blame the insurance company and/or auction...like I said I’ll get to the bottom of this...so you didn’t do the estimate for insurance, was a different shop? But if you guys stole all the parts not gonna be pretty in the end...I hate thieves!6.19.21 update: we have everything ready for court…statements from everyone involved, everything shows that stolen parts when in your possession. Btw when your mechanic comes and tells me “man, you bought my tractor”…there is no doubt. Now when another dealer confirmed the amount of “work” involved in removing harness, all sensors, modules, and sooo much more…is clearly not the original owner (who had insurance anyway), or the insurance adjuster, or the tow truck driver!Hope by the time I’m done with you business license will be revoked!

I give them one star for the reason I cant give them a minus ten stars. With that being said thats the rudest people that I have dealt with in a long time but I dont have to worry about that anymore because the owner and most of his staff got my opinions on how I felt about the way treat customers. What he dont realize is that Im going to tell everyone I know that the way I was treated and that robbed me the wrong way and it went downhill when he started on my wife but I got that straight right quick but for folks I believe you should shop locally but stay there hell away from them.

I would love to know if Mahindra is a good tractor or not, but I cant get ANY HELP from this place!!! Ive called three times and no answer or option for a voicemail. I went to the place thinking I could get a hello welcome to Red Dirt Tractor or something. Several people waiting in line with one guy on the phone ignoring everybody in the waiting room with the look on his face he cant wait for 5:00 to get here.... Oh well, I guess my money is not welcome here.

Very different buying experience. No hassle. No pushy salespeople. I went there. Looked around. Found the one I wanted without somebody telling me what I wanted. Then as i was ready to buy, I was greeted, asked what id like to see more of and then, I was able to tell him i was ready to get the 4540. That easy. I had questions and they answered every one and that is what made my buying experience so much better. No pressure.

I just took my newest Mahindra tractor (a 6075) in to Red Dirt for the 50-hour maintenance. I dropped it off late on Wednesday and they had it ready for me by noon the next day. In addition to the requested maintenance items, they gave it a super thorough eyeballing. They even found a very small crack in my cab top that I had not noticed. We discussed several options for fixing it, even helping me by suggesting a product I could use to seal it myself. There was no pressure to have them do an expensive roof replacement or anything. Thats the kind of service that I like. The people at Red Dirt are really friendly and always very helpful. And I love my Mahindra 6075!

Our experience with Red Dirt Tractor has been terrible since we signed the paperwork. We were told after signing paperwork that you dont pick up the tractor the same day you buy. This seemed weird, but I thought maybe it was because we bought other things to go with it. They tell us when we can pick it up. This was 2-3 days later. We show up on that day and 9 hours later after sitting at the dealership, they then come out to tell us that they cant get the grapple attachment hooked up. They need to order some other part. I am livid. This is the winter & we have no way to feed/hay our cattle without a tractor. We told them this from the beginning, which is why we wanted to take the tractor home. We wait several days & after phone calls, they finally tell us what time it will be ready. Again we show up at the time only to see that they have not even started working on the tractor. 5 hours later, we leave.Days later we hook up the grapple to use for the 1st time. It doesnt work. We call several times. They said that their mechanic would come out & look at it. I doubt they tell the mechanic or turn in a work order. We have been using the tractor (no grapple). The maintenance light comes on for fluids to be changed at 50 hours. We call & make an appointment. We ask if this can be done in 1 week. (I know how much they struggle with time). We work out of town, & dropped the tractor off on Saturday. One of the salesmen fills out the work order form, & I sign, leave. We begin calling Red Dirt on Thursday to see if the work has been done, & if we are still okay to pick up the tractor that Saturday when we come back to town from work. They wont answer. We call throughout the day with no response. I then called from a different number, & they answer the phone. I dont get anywhere with them,& they tell me they will have to get someone to call me back. I even submit an inquiry online to see if I can get a response. Below is the response I get.No one here is allowed to use their personal cell phones! We do our best as a small family business, but we aren’t perfect.Nobody is ignoring the phone calls, but if we’re with in store customers we do not answer the phones. This store is running with only half of our Team members since the Governor announced and defined how we would operate as an essential business. We don’t even have to be open! You have three other tools to communicate with us, FB Messenger, Texting our main number or emailing us.I am mad at this point. I call the corporate office, and ask what we should do. They tell us to pick up our tractor immediately, and this is the 3rd complaint they have had on them this week. If we have any problems when we arrive to call them immediately. I send my parents to pick up the tractor, as I am still out of town at work. When they arrive, and tell them they are leaving with the tractor, they get very upset. At this point my mother steps away, and calls the corporate office and keeps them on the phone. They then hear the Red Dirt office bashing the corporate office stating that they were the reason they couldnt get any work done. The corporate manager hears this on the phone, and asks to speak with the owner, who is in the room. He then leaves the room, which he was asked by the corporate manager to not do, with my moms phone. When he returns after speaking with the corporate manager, he then begins screaming and cussing at my parents to get their damn tractor off his damn property, and dont ever come back! He said he does NOT WORK FOR OR REPRESENT MAHINDRA!!!!My husband and I are driving home from work, and he then receives a phone call from the owner begging us to please bring back the tractor, and they will have everything fixed by 3pm Saturday. They couldnt even tell the mechanic what to do for 7 days, and now you can fix it in less than 24 hours? I dont think so. My husband informs him due to everything we have experienced at his dealership, we made an appointment elsewhere.

Did a lot of research on different tractors in the HP I was looking at and the Mahindra fell into my interest so when RDT had the great specials going on I went about seventy miles one way to see em , everything Mr. Bryon told me was honest and truthful. I purchased a eMax 25 with loader havent had it a full month yet and pushing almost seventy hours and first service done, engine sounds great had to get used to the hst cause frankly all Ive really used were clutch but I think the right choice was made at least for my needs easiest tractor Ive ever used. Powerful tractors and good folks to do business with. 9/23/19 update little emax 25 still going strong and still pleased with Red Dirt Tractors.Dec. 2, 2019 have around 535 hours, yep this has been a very helpful t ractor and investment, didnt state before I purchased this to help with cleanup after a level 2 tornado 118 mph winds so it is more useful than I imagined. Ive had a couple of issues where I had to take it in to be checked out and on one issue it took nearly two weeks to get it back and I dont hold hard feelings towards RDT , Mahindra, or employees, they have reacted and done everything possible to address the issue, and they did but I realise they sell many tractors and sometimes we just have to show good manners when no one is to blame except in some cases our self like when a stick broke my hst plastic cooling fan had to replace it to keep my warranty good or just get it back to specs, no it aint fun putting money out but when I consider what people labor would cost compared to this little tractors abilities theres no complaints here.Just want to suggest to anyone that intends to purchase a tractor, Red Dirt Tractors they Are some of the best folks around to do business with and sell some of the best tractors. No pushy fast talking quick sell folks just have a good product lets you look and answer your questions when you are ready or not ready to buy. Id think it would be a lack in judgement for anyone considering purchasing a tractor to bypass these folks due to the love or likes of different color (Tractor) if you purchase from them or not. Still pleased with RDT And Mahindra.
