Where Do I start! My organization ordered 104 balloons with delivery, due to rain part of the event was cancelled leaving us to figure out how we could get the balloons. I called TONY who advised me the delivery guy had left the store & was headed to the original address when I needed to change the location at the last min.. They tracked the guy down & got the balloons to my new location with mins of the guy leaving the store… THANK YOU ALL !!

My neighbors mini American is turning 1 year old, so I called party depot at the beacon mall plaza in Alexandria, Va. to inquire about balloons. Natalyn was informative on the phone and even better when I arrived to make the purchase. I really appreciated her wisdom. Thanks So Much! :)s

This is our go-to place for party event supplies, especially since its just so close to us. Located in the Beacon Center off US 1 Richmond Hwy, you will find Party Depot sandwiched between Home Goods and Subway. There are plenty of parking spaces since I find this part of the shopping center to be less busy/crowded.Upon entering the establishment, there are many different kinds and types of balloons on display to fit any theme or event youre looking for. As you continue walking along the right side of the store, they display themed party supplies related to upcoming holidays. Since we came in early March, there were party supplies for Cinco de Mayo, Easter, and Ramadan, just to name a few.Im surprised they still display many of their costumes instead of storing them away until Halloween, which makes this a great place to find almost any prop and/or costume to fit your fancy.Weve bought balloons for our sons birthday, as well as finding some decor pieces to match the color theme for a mother-daughter tea party I was planning recently. Price is pretty comparable to other party supply chains. Also, our experience with their customer service has been pretty decent so no complaints.

The store has a big selection and good prices.. but I called in before i arrived to inquire about birthday balloons and confirmed they will fill them for me.. When i got there, the balloon rep lady says you can blow them up yourself, it has a straw in the package. The whole point was to pay for the convenience and lack of time I had to do it myself!! She seemed miserable but the manager/owner did also seem to belittle the women at the front desk as well, so I will assume her attitude has to do with him.. I just had to catch the heat from it. Smh

Outstanding customer service! Great prices and a large selection of baby shower decorations. I ordered my daughters gender revel balloon, the young ladies at the balloon counter were very professional and polite. I will be using this location for the baby shower as well.

They are open, you can go inside. Dont recommend the online pickup option as it set my pickup date sometime next month 🤷🏽‍♀️ Once inside, they handled everything smoothly and helped me pick out another option for an item that wasnt available from the order 👌🏽

It seems like a small place but they have tons of stuff. Great selection of party supplies, balloons, themed decorations, ribbons, candy, party favors and they also have a really good selection of costumes. Wigs, school/team spirit gear, everything you would look for in the big chain stores.

Frustrated that I made a special trip in the snow to get party supplies and the store wasn’t open. You have hours for a reason and it’s INCREDIBLY frustrating if they are not followed. I will not be back again.

I enjoyed my browsing experience here. Some prices are similar to Party City, however, this store was different. More selections to choose from and better prices for a lot of items. The balloon selection was not as vast as PC, but thats okay. The prices and the selections make up for that.

The staff here is extremely RUDE!Bad customer service, the lady at the balloon station is so arrogant and the tall old guy at the register SO DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE..Not coming here anymore... they act like they’re working for FREE!!! I went in today and I left very disappointed..

I called to get information about balloons I was looking to purchase, and I got nothing but attitude. They will not be getting my money.

I walked in expecting to be disappointed, because I was looking for Kentucky Derby decorations and the Derby had already happened. I approached a lady who dropped what she was doing, grabbed a ladder (to my surprise), and led me directly to what I needed. They had a great selection at cheap prices, and she was very, very helpful.

I was pleased! My order was perfect.

Had a great experience there today! Went in for 20 balloons for my daughters birthday tomorrow and discussed having them last til then which would mean adding the hi-float to them for an extra $0.29 each. However I neglected to make sure that they were rung up that way and when I returned to pick them up they were just regular air. (lasts only 10 hours - so much to learn about balloons btw.) So, the nice women working said they would deflate them and add the hi-float solution and re-inflate the balloons. SO NICE!! They should have charged me extra but they didnt. Great service, will definitely return!

We bought balloons one day early for or morning event and the next day half of the balloons we got inflated were deflated on the floor. Also, going home, with one of th balloons immediately deflated so we had to go back. This would be ok if we paid around $20 but we paid $50 for a terrible service. Another thing I didn’t like was how the supervisor or manager treated their employees. Telling them to put their phones away in front of customers..that’s belittling and I’m not okay with that.

Yup so it started when were walking around shopping and the manager pulls me to the side and says Maam what did you put in your bag and instantly I dropped my jaw and looked at him like he was crazy, showed him my purse and he said oh I apologize. So I asked what possessed you to ask such a question and he says the lady in front said she seen me out something in My bag. So I politely walked to the front and asked her did she tell him that she seen me put something in my bag and she was a young Afro American girl and instantly she said No. So at this point I put my finger on the matter and thought well I actually did walk past him 6 times in the store and thought wow he been following me and my aunt and my cousin around the store . We literally were ordering balloons , and party favors . So then he starts to apologize and say she thought she saw something on the camera so I asked her was that the case again and she said No . The fact that he lied and said she inferred that she seen something and then said it was his mistake just threw me off completely. So from now on I will remind anyone I know that the store Party Depot in Alexandria has a manger by the name of Billwhom followed me around a store to assume I stole only to blame the accusation on the cashier who denied all claims . I will never go to that store again , and remind family and friends to NEVER GO THERE.

I dont go here for the customer service. I go here for the party supplies. Sorry to the people with their 6 bratty children screaming through the aisles looking for obnoxiously specific party supplies expecting world-class customer service. If I had to deal with helicopter parents every day, Id probably be less than friendly too.This store has everything you need if youre having a party. Bought supplies here for my brothers wedding shower, dads birthday, boyfriends birthday, and a few parties at my house. I always found what I needed (and the people working there were always willing to point me in the right direction), and the prices are comparable to other party stores. For the size of the store, it has a pretty big selection.

Worst customer service EVER! I purchased a fog machine prior to Halloween. I asked if it was returnable. The salesperson answered yes. Set the machine up, filled it with liquid, and proceeded as directed. One burst of fog came out and nothing else. Left it plugged in and running for the entire night, to no avail. Had to dump liquid out and rebox for return. Went to return fog machine on 11/18/17. The salesperson states its non-returnable. I inform her that prior to purchase I inquired and was told it was returnable. I also informed her that regardless it did not work. She stated she had to get the manager. She had to call the manager twice and he took his sweet time to come to register. Bill, the manager was very rude, no customer service skills whatsoever! I go through the same spiel as I did with salesperson. Bill tells me he cannot return it. I am telling him it does not work. Idiot that Bill is, he asks where is the liquid. I put the liquid in the machine, how else would I know it did not work, duuuuuh! Then he asks, where is the cap? Idiot! It is attached to the machine. He proceeds to tell me he needs the liquid in order to test machine. I told him to get a bottle off the shelf. He says they do not have any...that is not my problem. Then this idiot goes on to say, its been used. Again, duuuh, HOW THE HELL ELSE WOULD I KNOW IT DID NOT WORK!!!! Going through this nonsense with him of course an argument ensued. Bill decides to slam/throw the cord in the box in a threatening manner. I asked for corporate number. He gave me someone named Mannys number and told me to call him in 2 weeks or so because he is out of the country. Needless to say, I left with the broken machine. I now have to involve my credit card company and try to get in touch with the owner. Save yourself some trouble and DO NOT shop here. WORST STORE AND WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! THE WHOLE LOT SHOULD BE FIRED AND START OVER AGAIN!
