I got a mediocre gel manicure that is already chipping 12 hours after I got it. I pick at the skin around my nails which is something that embarrasses me. The nail tech pointed at the places i picked at my nails and laughed and said what happened??. I felt that was very rude and unprofessional. I will not go back.

They dont want to spend anytime on you. so rushed. They even have a timer. Not gong back anymore . the 2 star is for okay customer service

This was first time in this store. I had to travel next day so needed Meni/ Pedi urgently.. My regular Nail Spa was closed on Monday. I called this place and one lady sounded super sweet and requested me to visit this store for the best services.Entire service was ridiculously disappointing.. The old lady who worked on me was so rushed that instead of my nails she did not mind cutting/ scratching/ filing my skin rather.. whenever I tried to caution her to be careful and gentle, she would get super offended.My Meni/ Pedi was over in 45 minutes. Whereas I was there for Gel Manicure.. No massage or moisturizer .. I came back home with multiple cuts and super dehydrated hand and feet.I saw them using same metal scraper without disinfecting after use.. A male staff was rinsing foot towels in the foot Pedicure sink at the time of closing once a guest was done.. I hope they do not put these towel into dryers without washing them with bleach.Would surely report Virginia Board of Cosmetology to look into their Licensure !

My first time here was great! I was waited on immediately and Kathy was very personable🙂 This was my first time getting dip for my nails and I love it! Will be returning next time.

I got a pedicure at this salon yesterday. The service was rushed. I was in and out in like 15 minutes and that’s not how I like pedicures to be. The tech soaked my feet for three solid minutes, filed my nails, put lotion on my legs for one solid minute and painted my toes. All things I could have done myself for less then 30 dollars. Leaving the salon I was super disappointed with my service and will definitely not be frequenting this establishment. Frankly I felt bamboozled spending 33 dollars at this place. Next time I’ll just buy a 3 dollar bottle of nail polish and do my toes myself.

I love coming to American Dream Nail Spa!! They are always so nice and professional. My fave nail tech is Boi!!!! She is the best. She did my manicure for my wedding it was stunning and man did it last! I never leave disappointed. Another lady that is great is Dung Nguyen she did my latest holiday nails!!!!

I love going there because the staff is very welcoming. I feel as if I have my own nail consultant who provides tips on how to take better care of my toenails.

This was my first time here and they gave me the worst treatment. The male technician was so aggravated with me because we disagreed about the service. He raised the price without telling me and when I tried to explain my side, he wouldn’t let me talk. Two of the female technical also ganged up on me. I felt very attracted. He could have handled it professionally. There was no need for yelling at their customer. I will never come here.

Came in as a walk-in and got my gel mani done by Boi. I gave her a picture of what I wanted and she help me pick colors. Boi was super quick and did a wonderful job, I loved my untraditional holiday nails.

My friend and I came here together and they took her first saying hers would take longer, that is fine however they finally called me over to a seat and started my nails. After filing down two of my nails the technician said sorry I have an appointment here for me you have to get up and wait for someone else. I don’t see why she would call me over knowing she had an appointment coming in.

After reading reviews I was a bit iffy but decided to try it. I got Kathy and I am very glad that I did. Shes very polite and friendly, did a quick job (not as thorough as Im accustomed to, but she did a good job overall). They do use a timer and it went off at 20 minutes into my pedi!!! What!?Anyway, I also asked to use the 10% off they advertise on the website and was told that theyre not honoring it during covid, and I was OK with that but really they should take it off the website then, thats false advertising.I am giving it 4 stars bc theyre really good with Covid guidelines and I felt safe, it was clean, my appointment was on time, the massage chair was great and Kathy really deserves 4 stars! 😉

I get my SNS nails done every couple weeks by Boi and she does an awesome job! She is super kind and very easy to schedule with. Tracy also does a great paraffin wax pedicure. Great to find a nice place to get my nails done since moving to the area.

If I could rate it 0 stars I WOULD! My friend and I had scheduled an appointment to do our acrylic nails. We are kids so we looked on the kiddie corner on their website and it said acrylic nails are 8 dollars, $5 dollars for the shape and $3 for the acrylic. We made sure many times on the phone that the acrylic nails are $8 for kids. BUT WHEN WE WENT INTO THE STORE they said there was no such thing and was very rude when she was talking to us. We told the staff about the call and the website but they still said it wasn’t right. What kind excuse is that? Then they continued to talk about us to their customers and not care that we were standing there. There customer service was horrible and they lied about their prices. NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN!

First time getting a new full set and I was not impressed at all. My nail technician should have filed my nails a little better. I will possibly return but only for a fill or nail polish change. The manager was very friendly and enforcing all COVID-19 precautionary measures. Extremely clean salon.

My nails literally broke off the same day in my sleep like it makes no sense. And the now the whole set is gone in a couple days after.

Horrible color selection.I don’t know the name of the woman who serviced me but she was mean. In addition, I showed her a picture of what I wanted, she said she could do it, and the results did not match the picture. Her reasoning? “Of course it won’t match, it’s a picture.Did you get this picture online? Of course it won’t match.” Very loudly for others to hear. The look was not difficult - a simple 2 color ombré transition. Will not go again.

Decided to try this place for the first time. Omg, i was super disappointed. She looks nice and neat so maybe she will do a good job. 10mins and manicure is done. That is including the soaking of the nails(hands), cutting the nails, nipping the sides and buffing and me going to their sink and rinse my dusty hands. Back to my chair, she did a good massage tho, some more nipping and voila, gotta pick the color. I had to tell her to clean some more coz there are still cuticles and she said she does not see anymore... omg!!! What a waste of money.Well, let the pictures decide... omg and more omg!!!

This salon is very clean and there is always ample parking in the shopping center. You can go in as a walk-in but I prefer to call ahead and make an appointment. You can use a credit card at this salon for services, but you should plan on having cash on hand to leave your tip. I went to quite a few salons before settling on this one. Anyone who lives in this area, knows there are many nail salons to choose from. I work a lot with my hands, therfore I am very hard on my nails and cuticles. My nails always looks fabulous when I leave this salon. I give the credit to Kathy, my nail technician of 5 years. She is a wonderful, very professional and understanding. She focuses on the task at hand and gives you her undivided attention. She speaks English so it is very easy to communicate with her. Keep in mind, I can tell she is very well liked by her customers, making her a very busy nail technician. Note: Kathy also does a great job on my eyebrow waxing.

She did a great job on my feet. Very fast and really couldnt enjoy it. They need to do a better job at using the sign in sheet as follows.

In my past experiences, Ive dealt with my nails chipping off in 2-3 days after getting it done. So, I decided to give up until I came across this place while in the area.RUBY restored my faith in getting gel manicure. Shes nice, gentle & wonderful in her work. My manicure its lasting me up to 2 weeks now & mind you I work in the medical field & wash/changes gloves all the time.

I am very particular about how I want my nails done. Since I moved to VA last year, I have been looking for a good nail technician. Boi is absolutely amazing! She is not only very professional, friendly and detailed but most importantly she is willing to listen. Her goal is to make her customers happy and she is truly good at it!

I went to this salon today and it was a great experience. The ladies were all so nice and did my nails exactly as I asked them to. My nails look very neat and tidy and I have very exacting standards when it comes to my nails. They also have a large color selection which is key.The store itself is well organized and very clean especially compared to other nail shops I’ve been to so I’d have no problems recommending it to my friends.Overall a great experience I’d highly recommend.

I get my nails done here and they do a great job! Kathy and Ruby are amazing and so is all the nails technicians there. No other nails place does a better job. They are welcoming, friendly, nice and have outstanding customer service.

I have been going to this Nail Salon for about two years and I am very happy with the service. I always go to Boi (pronunciation: boy)! I just adore her, she does amazing work, shes extremely fast, efficient, funny and yes she knows English! I go to her for my nails, toes and waxing. I usually call her the same day or the day before to make an appointment because I honestly dont feel like waiting.

I came in for a pedi and eye brow wax (last week and got the sugar scrub) My technician was all kinds of sick coughing in her hands and all on my legs. She puts some sort of plastic on my feet to protect it from damage of my shoe... It didnt work only messed up my pedi. So now I have smudged toes and what i believe to be the flu. Ill know more when I leave urgent care today smh .

From the moment you walk in, the staff make the whole experience just fantastic. Ive been here for a couple pedicures now and I keep leaving looking forward to my next one! Theyre very open to walkins, and Ive never had a long wait . The one time I had to wait manager made me comfortable with a bottle of water while I waited. They have a wide range of services, and the prices are incredibly reasonable for the terrific services you receive. Tammy gives terrific massages with my pedicures, I feel likela whole new woman. I always walk away perfectly revived from here after a long day at work. I cant wait until my next visit!

Overall ok experience. Jaimee (?) did my nails and she was very quiet + nice! My nails are very short because of my work, and she did the best she could with what nail was there lol. I got a dip nail polish and it was $45. Good color selection too. My main complaint was that the salon was pretty dusty and not very clean. I went during a quiet time (1pm) and she took her time filing and smoothing my nails. Much appreciated! I think I would go back when my nails are longer.

Nice place with some great technicians. However, ...just the same issues. Techs distracted and speaking in Vietnamese loudly to each other. Basically, this place is great for a budget spa pedi but dont expect cucumbers, champagne and gong music.

They did a good job but they were not upfront about prices. I picked the 65$ pedicure and it ended up being 85$ pedicure because I did gel polish. Never said that until the end of course. Was not worth 120$ for mani pedi. Also they clearly do not sanitize anything. She scrubbed my feet and then threw the tool back into her drawer... didn’t use new anything, would not go back!

I heard The place is great if you’re you find a good person, it was my first time here and I don’t think I will go for acrylics anymore. The lady was not enthusiastic, my nail broke after a day and I could see where my nails begins in two days. I went back to get it fixed and they charged me $3 for a broken nail, which I did not argue about but I still feel like I paid and tipped her enough for the service I received.

Paid $30 for a full set. There was next to nobody in the shop and I went at a time when everyone was at work so there was absolutely no need for her to rush. I showed her exactly what I wanted and even asked her if she could do it. She said yes. I havent had my nails on two full weeks and they are already falling off. I am so beyond pissed. I called and the woman said that I would have pay to have them fixed. So you want me to pay for your salons error? Not one of my nails are the same shape or size. Ill make sure to take my business elsewhere.

I have been going to Ruby for about 4 1/2 months. I was unhappy elsewhere with a very upscale place that was overpriced and damaged my nails greatly. Ruby restored my nails to health and is overall professional as is the staff. They are accommodating, clean, and precise. I recommend Ruby personally who is also the manager

Terrible just terrible! My friend and I called in and scheduled an appointment for a full set of acrylics. On the website it had said that for kids it would be around 8 dollars and coming from the staff there, there is no such thing! Then we were showing them what we were talking about and they said that it’s wrong, when it says it on their website!!!!! Literally, the staff on the even confirmed it. But that’s not it, after the staff “explained “ it to us she starts to talk about us to a customer right in front of our faces!!!! If I could rate this place a 0 I would!!! NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN!!!

I went in to get my nails done and I asked for a full acrylic set French when a nail tech started doing my nails the color started bleeding over into the white so I tried to explain it to her they all got frustrated started talking about me in Chinese. So finally she says Im not doing it anymore and no one else will do it so I dont know what you want thats it were done unless you want clear polish with white tips thats it were not giving you any more options and no one else will do it one Asian girl comes over she says itll be five extra for the french tips then a few minutes later she goes its usually 7, 2 minutes later she comes back on where she says french is 10 I had to tell her dont play games with me Im not a child dont treat me like an imbecile. So then they start charging me they charge me two times I want to ask for a receipt for them to show voided she says oh were not doing that were not giving you anything if you have a problem a come back later to see my boss. Black people need to stop supporting these businesses that act like were begging them for a favor when really and truly were paying them a heart on money no begging you to do any free favors. And my nails look terrible - different lengths, streaks in the polish, bleeding into each other, different size white lines......THE PHOTO IS THE NEXT DAY! LITERALLY THE NEXT DAY

I came here to get SNS ( Dip Powder ) that’s I have been getting forever. First time I got it everything was fine. The second time I got it Within the first week it started chipping and then the top of it started lifting up. Which I have never experienced in my life. So because the nail lifted up when I washed my hands or showered water would get in it and it gave me a fungus. I have never had a fungus on my nail until I came here. I didn’t even know you could get such thing. I would never go back. Not even if their service was free. Worst experience of my whole life .

Today was my first time coming and I love this place! My mother referred me to this place and told me to go to a lady named Boi. She is the best! She did my sns dip manicure and pedicure in a timely matter and did it with perfection! From now on I will always come here just because she does a great job!

Worse pedi ever! no cleaning, no buffing and no toe spacers. had to have both my big toes touched up and instead of redoing just applied more polish. nothing smooth looking about them. dont waste your money
