I was told that PCI only has two counselors that will take Employee Assistance Program (EAP). So you are very limited in who you can see at PCI. Best to look elsewhere if you are wanting to begin on your insurance EAP.After half a dozen emails with admin to schedule an appointment, they did not actually schedule the appointment. We were informed on the day of the requested appointment (from the days and times they provided) that we were not actually scheduled. This entire process took weeks from the inquiry to the proposed scheduled time. They did offer additional times two weeks out. Best to avoid.

I have been seeing Dr. Gillum for about a year and half. I thoroughly enjoy and look forward to our monthly sessions. We are able to tailor my therapy to the frequency that I need. Dr. Gillum is invested in your treatment and well-being, and is clearly knowledgeable of various psychological modalities. I feel that I was lucky to be able to connect with Dr. Gillum at a time I need help the most!

My daughter and I visited with 2 different therapist before we met Dr. Gillum. One therapist had suggested medication and never gave me a concrete plan to resolve my childs behavior issues. Since visiting with Dr. Gillum (over the past 11 months) my childs behavior has changed drastically. Dr. Gillum has given me the tools to manage different scenarios of my 10 year olds behavior and without recommending medication. Shes caring straightforward, honest, and we could not have met anyone more suited to take on the challenges that my child and I have faced.

I had a few appointments with a therapist but the sessions didnt seem personable. It seemed that she didnt even remember anything I mentioned from the previous appointments. The business doesnt have a confirmation for appointments, or any form of contact other than scheduling and taking your money. I had to cancel an appointment last minute because of a personal conflict, and was happy to pay for the last minute cancellation, as per the agreement but I really was unhappy with my therapist not following up with me. Typically, I would get an email from the therapist who I was seeing asking if I needed to re-schedule at a different date or if they havent heard from me in a while, following up with me to see if I was okay, but its been a while now and all Ive gotten was a bill. I made a mistake of ignoring all of the negative reviews on Yelp, the real ones, not the fake ones. Dont go here unless youre into therapists who seem to read from a script and not really pay attention to the help youre seeking. Dont take on patients if you dont care. Dr. Gillum is awesome. My daughter was suffering, but it wasnt really clear to me what the problem was. Even though my daughter and I were communicating openly about her feelings, I didnt know how to help her. Dr. Gillum was able to figure out what the underlying issues were, develop a plan to help her deal with those issues, and teach my daughter how to deal with those issues. She gave my daughter the tools to manager her anxiety. My daughter no longer has to see Dr. Gillum -- not because she doesnt want to, but because Dr. Gillum enabled her to deal with her issues on her own. Dr. Gillum is extraordinarily professional, and her communication skills are unmatched. I felt very comfortable discussing my daughter with her, and she explained my daughters issues in a way that made sense to me. Even though my daughter was initially reluctant to get outside help, she liked Dr. Gillum and was able to open up to her. Dr. Gillum has my highest possible personal recommendation.

Great with teen issues

Ive left several messages and sent requests via their online portal to get an appointment as a new patient. No one has returned my requests. Very disappointing for a therapy center.
