I dont see paying $130.00 for mostly music channels or repeated channels that are HD. Which there isnt much difference in the two channels. Suddenlink is only in busniess to rip-off their customers .They raise their rates every 3 to 6 months.

Literally the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve been out of internet for over 2 months. After 5 weeks I was finally able to schedule a technician visit to replace my snapped line from a tree falling on it. The appointment was made for 3 weeks later.I wait and call Suddenlink to make sure the technician is coming. They tell me the technician has all ready completed the repair.(he didn’t, never even showed up.) they want me to schedule another appointment. I just want to cancel my services at this point.Oh and also they keep sending bills even though I haven’t had service in over 2 months. When I say I don’t think I should have to pay it I was told that if I didn’t they would make my account inactive and never come fix the issue.Thanks Suddenlink.

My basic cable has been down since August 27th.. made an appointment for 2 weeks later that was canceled and they didnt even tell me.. cable is still down... Going to the Alexandria store and see if talking to a person I can understand face to face will work better for me.. I would never recommend this company even to my worst enemies.. they truly suck!

Technician came to my 92 yr old mothers house this morning to restore home phone and cable. Left telling her it should be good in 30 minutes. He should have made sure it came back on. Rescheduled her for o day afternoon. UUNACCRPTABLE. should come tomorrow mother’s. Caked but got Abdou who wasn’t a bit of help. Lake Charles needs another company!

Be prepared to wait a couple of hours on customer service when inquiring about internet. They will send a technician to look at your outside line for free. If they have to send a technician inside your home they state they will possibly charge you $60 dollars based on technician comments. They will not tell you under what circumstances you will incur a charge. They only that if it is their systems fault you will not be charged. They state if you caused the problem you will be charged. They dont state any conditions under which you would actually be charged. I tried to ask for a manager to get clarification and the call agent got very confrontational and would not let me talk further. The agent said that if I didnt want to pay $60 that I could pay $7 additional dollars a month for insurance. It seems like they want to charge more money to ensure my system runs correctly. She also said that I would have to wait on an outside service agent for many many days. On one call I opted for a call back, but they never called back. On a separate call the agent said they would call back the next day and never did. If you need help be prepared to spend days just to get to the point where you can talk to someone to get help.

I strongly do not recommend this company. They cancelled my installation twice with less than 24 hour notice and continue to push my installation back. My current projected installation date is 6 weeks past when I requested the initial service. Also, for whatever reason they cannot support self installation even though Sudden Link has already been installed in my apartment. If this is the only internet in your area, I would strongly consider using your phone as a hotspot instead of using Sudden Links wifi. Apparently theres no need for this company to be better because theyre the only one in the area.

Ive had nothing but trouble getting the service I paid for. They auto drafted my account without my approval. Then when I tried to oblige and keep my services, they did not give me the services I was promised, and were always trying to sell me packages I neither wanted nor asked for. A representative WOULD NOT connect me with a manager so we could try to work something out, but instead told me that no one else could help me with the issues I was having... including taking money from my account (which WASNT SUPPOSE TO BE AUTO DRAFTED IN THE FIRST PLACE) and getting my money returned to my account. Suddenlinks customer service dept is the worse.

I’ve had the worst experience with Suddenlink. I really wish there was another service here locally that can offer the internet speed for my employment. Technical support is horrible I called in to report issues and was told there was an outage in my area that’s was on a Wednesday the next day I called my neighbor who also happens to have Suddenlink to ask where they experiencing problems and I was told no. I called my Daugther who lives literally down the street ask the same question and she also stated no. I called Suddenlink back (Thursday) representative told again there was issues in my area. I explained the situation (keep in mind I work remotely) so am very dependent on internet services. He told me I could go online and view areas where there are outages I ask to be walked through and was hung up on. I called back spoke with another representative and ask that a technician be sent to my home was told that would be a $60 charge BUT I have a safeguard that suppose to take care of the $60. Anyway couldn’t get a tech u til Saturday (3) days no work no pay. Saturday morning tech came out and guess what there wasn’t an outage in my area my wire needed to be changed. I was charged $60 previously for visit that never taken place I lost out on wages ..... I HATE SUDDENLINK with a passion

Bad cable company I been having my wifi box for a week now and havent had anyone come out to see or fix the problems about my wifi box. Called over and over to get help and get someone to come out and fix it but customer service just keep pushing my scheduled date and no one still havent came out to fix the problem. Cant work with this company they want u to pay for the problems that they dont want to come fix. Awful. Consistently raising their rates. I have had two annual increases this year. Customer service is not helpful and WILL NOT call you back. If you have another option, go for it. I live in an area where it is the only option and they take advantage of that. I wish I knew who to contact about getting other providers in our area.

I got my internet installed on September 26, 2019. I later that month received a statement stating my bill would be due on October 25,2019. Well I just received another bill statement from Suddenlink accusing me of being behind on my first bill, and that I owe them $108.98 by November 10,2019. My billing period on the second bill they just send me in the mail start from 10/27/2019 - 11/26/2019. They need to fix this mess ASAP!10/28/2019I’m currently on the phone with a woman who didn’t even want to give me her name, but I asked her twice for this exact reason. She said her name was Jessie. I’m telling her the issue with my bill and she just mute her line.I’m still on the line and she just hang up in my face. Now I’m still stuck with questions concerning my bill.

If I could give NO STARS, I would. Customer service with techs and billing is abysmal. First tech didnt fix our issue, and never followed up. One week later, we had a second tech who resolved the problem within 15 mins. During this time we were without service.E X T R E M E L Y poor customer service. Local employees are helpful, but have no authority to give credits due to overbilling. Was promised a credit, which was not applied. Subsequent billing added a late fee since I paid the bill, less the amount for the credit. After 3 trips to the storefront and several phone calls, the issue remains. Its not acceptable This has stretched out over a two month period.

Horrible customer service. My internet has been messing up for three weeks now and they have sent a tech out 3 different times and all 3 techs lied to us and told us that they needed a supervisor to fix our issue and that a supervisor would be on the wag. No one shows up and all Suddenlink does is schedule another time about a week later for another tech to come out. All they do is lie and not fix the issue.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Sudden link is the worst company thus far. I paid my bill since September 5th, today is September 12th my Internet still isnt working. They keep giving me the run around. Not to mention the countless hours I been spending on the phone everyday trying to resolve this matter. I been asking to speak to a manager everyday and they will not put a manager on the phone. They show no concern and Im sick of this. They have my $215.00 but dont want to correct whatever problem with this Internet. I am looking up other Internet providers and will be switching companies by Tuesday. December 23 2019 after the Tornado my mom cable stop I call suddenlink to have a Technician to come out and repair I gave them my mom address which is completely different from my address and the lady sent the Technician to my adress and charge me $ 60.00 because I wasnt home so I call suddenlink back to let them know about the Problem and to give me a credit but suddenlink refuses to do so and said my phone numbers is connected to my account but I Explain when I first call them I was calling for my mom and not myself Customer service is vary vary vary bad and dont care about the customer who is paying their money out but that what happens when you sell a USA company to Foreigner its like President Trump said let make America great Again

Terrible customer service ...and when I called to cancel, they bullied me on the phone for at least 15minutes and rudely refused to give me cancellation confirmation until I listened to all their attempts to keep me as a customer. It was so bad I just hung up without no confirmation and prayed it was just cancelled.

The employees at this location are helpful and attentive, but are handicapped by Altice in their ability to help their customers, especially if there is any kind of a billing issue.Not only was I charged for an additional month of service at an over inflated price (which the retention line I was referred to was supposed to have resolved) but I was also disconnected from the service altogether, despite having already been billed for an additional month, and to add insult to injury, there were no notes taken that the service rep in the store could look at to even begin to try explaining to me why I was cut off.Altice knows that there are no other major ISPs to compete with, so they dont have to care at all about retaining customers, because enough people would rather be saddled with dealing with this awful corporation than having no internet provider at all.None of my issues can be resolved by the people Altice allows to communicate with me, and they ensure that the people that are customer-facing arent the ones that have the power to do anything to deal with issues that arise from anything the company is responsible for.The people on the retention line either lied to me about having resolved my issue, or are so grossly incompetent that theres functionally no difference.The FTC cant act fast enough to disrupt the oligopoly that exists in the ISP market, because even in a city with a population of 60k people, competition in that market simply does not exist.

Just learned today that my package was going up from s148.00 to $169.00 per month. At this rate I will soon be paying $200.00 per month for basic cable and internet. My initial package of internet and cable started last year in July and now this year a second increase because originally my package started out at $134.00 which was doable and the reason I chose to go with the company. Looks like I’m going to have to make some changes in packages ASAP!!

Is this what you call internet service in this area? Totally ridiculous! I just had it installed a little over a week ago and already thinking about switching. Not to mention the customer service is terrible. Stating that the tech would be here to install at 3;15PM and never arrived until almost 5. I guess their time is more valuable than the customers. We have sudden link and the 1st installer was not very good, they could not get Tivo because it was down. The second installer named Brian was awsome, he got the Tivo installed, fixed the box cover outside where the other guy left it open, Brian explained everything and showed us how to operate the remote. Thank you Brian for being a true professional and taking the time to answer all of our questions. Brian left us with a card that had the phone number on it in case we have any problems in the future. Thank you Brian.

Horrible experience...One tech came on Wednesday June 19th to install the internet. After setting everything up he checked the pole and it was not working, he said he was going to put an order in for another tech to come out and fix it the next day....no one showed up....so I waited till Friday evening to call just incase a tech would show up, they sent someone Monday June 24th.....He did not fix anything just bad mouthed Suddenlink the whole time he was at the house.....so I called suddenlink back after he left and they said I needed to speak with the sales dept (sales dept was closed already)...so today June 25th I called to let them know what was going on and they tried to tell me I would have to pay for a tech to come out and fix the problem !!!! So even though they are the reason I still don’t have internet after 6 days with them giving me the run around, they want me to pay for the problem to be fixed!!!!

Poor service. We’re paying and we pay on time, but the wifi is really slow. Also, there are times when it’s not even working. Internet works then after a few minutes, it’s gone. Always like that.

Fell for “bait and switch”. Told in Nov we would receive free tablet if we maintained service for 90 days. So now, 125 days later, we’re told that there was no such agreement and we would not be receiving our tablet. No trouble accepting our payments last few months. Time to get service elsewhere....

They gave me a date and a time to that a tech would come in and set up and it was a no show and when I called back they said its not until the next day and when they next day came and the tech still havent arrived I called again and customer service had a very nasty attitude saying the tech was running late but I wanted to k ow how when they are given a 2 hour window to arrive. Really wish att internet was in the area thats who I was with previously and never had any problems.

Ive been a custom for a month now. The internet has gone down EVERY, SINGLE, DAY so far. When it is working, it very rarely stays on for an entire hour. On the TV side, same thing; rarely goes an hour without audio skips and digital distortion.

Scheduled services for internet. 1st tech installed wifi router and told me to reschedule a 2nd appointment to have a new drop line installed for Ethernet line for my home computer to get internet. 2nd tech called the 1st tech stupid, and that I had to purchase a 2nd router to plug into suddenlinks router to get internet on home computer!?!? Your website specifically states that you strongly advise using suddenlinks equipment. 3 weeks later I dont have a functioning computer with internet ?!

For 2 years I had to continue.nuying modems because they set the charge too high. Then they would charge me because it was their problem. They would miss appointments and charge me as if they came when calling to reschedual I would have to wait over a week. And I was taking online classes. Now they say my payments were rejected twice, with notification mind you, even though I called last month to update my billing. So now they only accept cash or a money order from a customer of 20 plus years and well over 700 credit rating (before they were even suddenlink) I have to nring it or mail it. I have tried to find other internets but apparently they have a monopoly, which is technocally illegal.If you can go ELSEWHERE!

The wifi sucks. It cuts on & off through the day. Sometimes it cuts off the whole day. The technitions sometimes dont come on on an appointment. & they took all the good channels. Im glad we switch to dish.

Had internet service through them and moved so disconnected and returned the equipment. They lost the equipment when they sent it to be processed in Pineville. Even tho they remembered me bringing the equipment back they still made me pay for the equipment that THEY lost.

Horrible customer service in horrible technicians, I recently tried to get internet and had a technician come out and take a look and said I was 2 foot out of range, I asked the technician if it was possible to run the cable directly to my pole he said no Cleco tells them to follow the route of the power lines, that is a lie as my brother in laws is run directly from Port to house, I called corporate and corporate confirmed that they had lied to me and have submitted multiple work orders to have them return and they refused to come by, would give negative Stars if possible
