I had a great experience doing an FUE transplant at Maxim. I initially met with Joseph Hart and Jessie to do my consultation and Joseph was extremely informative in terms of how the procedure works, what to expect, and also the risks to consider.In terms of the procedure itself, the team that took care of me included Rhonda and Kristi (lead providers) and Alma, Aya, Maria, and Monique as techs. I was greeted warmly by Jasmine the patient coordinator and she helped me with some of the initial forms that I needed to complete.Rhonda and Kristi were great in terms of helping me design the beard outline itself. They helped me create something that worked for my face uniquely and also set realistic expectations about what to get out of an initial procedure. They both had great energy and I felt like I was among team of people who knew their craft well. They were focused on making the beard outline as natural as possible, conscious of angular placement of the hairs, etc. The techs (Alma, Aya, Maria, Monique) did the follicle placement after Rhonda and Kristi harvested and created the punctures in my facial area. They were efficient, kept me at ease, and invested in what they were doing. What I admire about this team is that they also clearly looked like they were having fun in the process, they are passionate about what they do.I walked away happy with my result and look forward to how it grows out over the next several months. Would feel 100% comfortable recommending this place to others. Feel lucky to have run into a team that worked this well together and was invested in me coming away with something I was happy with. Big win.

@Kristi had an awesome hand on PRP, she used great combination of numbing cream and was very thoughtful of using every drop of plasma so nicely covering the areas that matters, I’ve had PRP before and I can say that this was the most comfortable so far, their team is very professional and try to make it a wholesome experience, i personally also like the reminders of the appointment, thank you for your great service.

Hands down, the Alexandria, VA branch has the most outstanding staff! I got the FUE procedure done approx. 3 months ago and I am shockingly starting to see results before the time Dr. Grace suggested. Dr. Grace and her team are very knowledgeable and they went above & beyond to ensure I was taken care of during the procedure. From the consultation up until now, Grace answered any questions I had. She explained all possibilities that could occur before having the procedure so that I could have a realistic view of what to expect. Overall, I had an excellent experience and I highly recommend Maxim to anyone who is thinking about getting the procedure.

I got my FUE procedure done at Maxim and Im pleased with the results. The team was very communicative and helpful explaining the process beforehand, and the whole procedure went smoothly. Its apparent they do many of these procedures, and the amount staff on hand taking part in the process was much more than I expected (a good thing). Price was low on my list of priorities looking for a clinic, but Maxim is very competitive in that respect. Definitely recommend.

I want to begin by saying how amazing I felt after leaving Maxim Hair Restoration. I will start by mentioning that I’ve been having hair loss issues for a while now. Ive tried product after product and went to a different dermatologist, which provided no information or help. I was on the edge of just giving up until Maxim came along. I signed up for a free consultation, and it was the best decision to make an appointment. Off the bat, Id mention the problems that I am currently having. Which they informed me of the reason why I am losing hair and giving me the solution that I can take to help me in the direction of recovery. That is what I needed to hear, giving me a sort of plan, and Maxim cares about you. And I felt very taken care of even though it was a free consultation, I will recommend this to anybody who is having issues with hair loss, and I will indeed come back in the future.

The staff at Maxim hair restoration (Alexandria VA location) was very pleasant and very accommodating. As for many surgeries, there will be some sort of pain along the way. Everyone from Rita, Grace, Yen and Nora... all of them took good care of me and i felt the care and concern before and after the surgery. the team is transparent with the hair restoration process and after i did my comparison with the other places on how much it would cost for me, Maxim gave me the best deal compared to the other places that i checked out. overall, i had a wonderful experience and i highly recommend the hair restoration service at Maxim (Alexandria VA).

Don’t go here. I promise you the results will not meet your expectations. They have no clue what they’re doing. The cheap prices might be tempting, but won’t serve you well at all. Find a place with great reputation that actually cares about you.

I loved my experience with Maxim. I’ve gotten lots of complements in my hair! The process was very simply A to Z. I would recommend FUE procedure to anyone considering it. My confidence level is back, and I look 10 years younger. Great friendly staff. Procedure was worth every penny.

I went to the Alexandria , Va office and they were phenomenal. They gave me everything I needed to know after I got my FUE procedure done, and it’s been a little over 5 months. The results are amazing! I definitely recommend to others!

The procedure I had turn out great. No complaints

I am a former MAXiM patient. I have had at least a half dozen procedures at the Alexandria, VA location from late 2018 to early 2020, including two FUE procedures and several PRP treatments. I have found the services rendered and the end-results themselves woefully underwhelming. Throughout the time I consulted with MAXiM, the VA branch has cycled through at least two surgeons and office managers. During this period, the price per graft has increased by 162% (without, I dare say, a commensurate increase in quality). Leaving aside the cost element, which is not insignificant, the cycling of medical staff impacted the continuity of care I received (hard to get much follow-up care from a disbanded medical team) and consistency of advice. As an example of the latter (and indeed the former), surgeon #1, office manager #1, and nurse #1 all advised me in 2018 that I could use PRP treatments in lieu of a lifetime’s worth of finasteride and minoxidil to maintain and/or regenerate hair. Surgeon #2 equivocated on this issue in 2020. After MAXiM failed to timely deliver any of the PRP treatments I paid for following my second FUE procedure, office manager #2 (formerly nurse #1) assured me, in 2021, that I had been thoroughly misinformed – PRPs do nothing of the sort. What’s more, when I confronted the director of operations about the conflicting advice I received regarding PRPs, he disagreed with office manager #2 on the use of PRPs to boost hair regeneration (confused yet?!?) Ultimately, I requested and received a refund for these apparently inutile PRP treatments.

Grace, Rita and the team are awesome!!! They know what they are doing, they are fun to be around, and just made the entire process seamless. I enjoyed Watching Netflix and having great conversation throughout the process. If you are looking for a reliable, professional and a fun team, don’t think twice just reach out.

I already had a intake done and have been ready for the procedure since April. I have left multiple messages and cant get anyone to call back. At this point everything up to now has been a big waste of time. (BAD) experience with this company.

I’ve only been three weeks into the process but to date I’ve had a superb experience. The entire staff is warm and welcoming, and answered all questions and concerns well in advance of the procedure. While there during the actual process, I felt relaxed and well cared for from the doctor and technicians. The atmosphere was professional, yet they felt like family. This office is beyond amazing, the staff was so helpful and friendly, kind and accommodating beyond words. I recently had the procedure, it was my second time since my first 15 years ago. Dr Pervaiz and the other staff did a tremendous job, prepping me, talking me through the pre-op and also during the procedure. And the results shine beautifully, even better than the first time that i had it done.I did the FUE non-strip procedure. Even though it did hurt a bit the following days after, the healing totally conceals the procedure. It feels like some literally pulling your hair out constantly for a few days. And I want to mention that the artful placement of Dr Pervaiz rivals any artist out there. She knew how and where to place the grafts to get the complete coverage (based on the number of grafts paid for) that I wanted and expected.They also explained the Plasma treatment as a additional procedure to help ensure further growth of current natural hair, in addition to the growth and development of the newly grafted hair. It appears to be a winning combination.During the pandemic, I was a bit nervous going anywhere near a medical center, but the office and clinic was spotless and they took all the correct procedures to ensure healthy and safe surgical environment.I hope I dont ever have to come back for a third procedure, but if I do...definitely would look for Dr. Pervaiz and Maxim to take care of it for me!Thanks Maxim!!Thai N

Absolutely the best clinic for hair restoration. Rita and Grace are the best caregivers. They genuinely care about their patients and a positive outcome. No hard sell, just letting you know the best treatment for you. They are not going try to get you to spend thousands on something you dont need. You can tell that Rita is very experienced and loves what she is doing. Grace was right there beside me, great bedside manner and very supportive and caring. It is too early in the recovery process for me to leave remarks about the result but I get I ought to leave a review on the process since I had such a great experience. Grace was my contact person throughout the whole experience and she was absolutely wonderful. Funny and approachable and seemed very motivated not for me to spend the most money but for me to get what I wanted on the budget I had. She checked up on me constantly before and after the procedure- and was available to answer my questions when I needed her. (I’m pretty sure I texted her at like 8:30 and she got back to me)Dr. Pervaiz was nice and professional- to date the work seems far superior to my first transplant done at another location.I heard great things about Rita but if you go in I’d recommend Grace- such a different experience than the normal cold and aloof treatment you tend to get in medicine these days.Definitely would recommend.

The people at MAXiM in Alexandria are phenomenal. As a 52 year old, I received a FUT procedure and couldn’t be happier with the results so far. They not only walked me through the process step by step but they genuinely cared for me and my procedure. I just finished my SMP sessions with Rita and Im so happy. She covered my transplant scars and created a natural hairline for me. I went to a tattoo place 5 years ago and they did a botched job on me. She reassured me that it would look natural and she delivered. I highly recommend her!

I have had an extremely poor experience here and would highly recommend not wasting your time. I was interested in getting my hair restored but I’m on a budget so initially I was unable to afford it and told them I was no longer interested. Then, they contacted me and I was offered a great deal to have the hair restoration procedure done last minute only a few days before the appointment. When I had questions regarding the procedure I was met with assurances by the staff (some of which seemed aggressive and defensive) but I was not allowed to speak with the actual doctor to clear my concerns before I paid the total amount for the procedure (concerns such as how I was not informed of things I could not do or consume 24hrs before the procedure among other concerns). When I decided I would take the risk without being able to consult the doctor on the assurances of the staff alone, I was told it was too late and the offer had expired even though I was assured that if I had completed the paper work before 5:30pm that day I would still have my appointment. I’m sure this is just a ploy to make their customers commit and then raise the price to squeeze whatever they can out of them. This is a ploy I will not take and hope others are not tricked into taking. These people are unprofessional, dishonest and play with your insecurities to get you to over extend what you can afford. I wouldn’t be surprised if these other reviews are fabricated. Along with this I attempted to take them up on their next offer... for $500 more. I was completely ready to pay and lock in the procedure two days before and they didn’t send me the forms. Then the next day i became sick and in an attempt to make sure i could still go through with it I ran around sick looking for a thermometer to see if i had a fever that would prevent me from having the procedure. Then the staff had the audacity to accuse me of messing with them and saying too many times i needed to think about the procedure when i did not once say that this second time around and said they couldnt put up with my “in between” mentality. These people. Wow

Dr. Pervaiz and her team of technicians put me at ease. There was no hard sell on the services, scheduling was easy and the procedure went very well. I look forward to seeing the results but have no doubt Dr. Pervaiz and her colleagues did their best job!

I felt ready to take the next steps. I got my surgery done last week st 1500 graphs. The Dr. and nurses knew exactly what they were doing and they were very patient during the procedure. I recently had my procedure with Dr. Gamez and his excellent team, I finally found a place that specializes in curly hair for FUE. From the beginning they were upfront and honest with me. I went to 3 hair restoration places and they told me I needed 2500- 3000 grafts which was false and only offered the strip method. Mind you, I wear my hair very low. I only needed 1500 grafts for my hair line. I highly recommend this place! Very Friendly and they treat you like family here!

I received a hair transplant back in November 2018, and I have received 4 PRP injections since the transplant. The procedures have been a great success. I received compliments on my hair quite frequently, and my natural curl has come back after several years. I cant say enough good things about the nurses (Grace and Rita), and doctor Gamez.
