Every so often, I meet people whose lives and callings are developed profoundly. Such has been developed in the people who are behind the Lind Family Funeral Services.When people think of funerals it’s associated with death, yet the ground my family walked with them was life-giving. This family extends their calling into every detail from those that are seemingly small to those with utmost importance. As you’re grieving the loss of a loved one it’s normal to be all-consumed with grief. Within their inviting and aesthetically refined atmosphere, they allowed my family room to grieve. With skillful precision, we were fully assured they would consider every detail thoughtfully and carefully as we said goodbye to my mother. They took care of her body, she looked beautiful as we said our final goodbyes.As our hearts were aching, Curt possessed rare insight and discernment. He asked sacred and important questions. He provided counsel with tangible ways to move forward as a calm, real, stable, sensitive, and inquisitive presence. He sought to understand, drew our our hearts and represented our wishes. As we made plans, it felt more like a counseling session and less like a business meeting. Funerals are loaded with details: casket/cremation, writing the obituary, how to address the nature of the death at the service, burial site, legal documents...The planning was structured with broad space and freedom to ask questions we were afraid to ask, but it couldn’t have felt more safe to ask them.Multiple people in my family felt more connected to them in a few days than to people we’ve known for 20 years. In our modern age obsessed with immediacy, the way the Lind Family led my family through my mother’s death was a rare, formative and sacred journey. They gripped my heart. I will never forget them.

The Lind Family Funeral Home had me from the minute Curt arrived at our house. He explained everything in a kind caring manor like he was talking to friends. This continued through the planning and the service. I would recommend them 100%. Thank you for accommodating our large family through this time.

The whole Lind group were very kind and helpful through the whole process. They brought up several items I hadn’t thought of considering. There was no pressure to take on additional items. The funeral home is beautiful and welcoming; the family area is a perfect place to sit with family to chat. There is plenty of parking which is helpful for our large family. Fantastic attention to detail and all around kind people. They really helped us through a sad process with dignity.

My husband passed tragically in vehicle accident at the age of 40. The Lind family has been nothing but spectacular since that 1st phone call. They have showed such compassion to not only me, but my three young girls, our families and our friends. They are very open and honest with every little detail and support you in every decision and no decision was rushed. They made this dark time in my life run so smoothly. I appreciated the extra time they took with me and my girls and helped me with the right words to explain to them what happened. No question was a dumb question to them and they answered the multiple questions I had multiple times. To this day I can still count on them for support.I highly recommend Lind Family Funeral Home to everyone that I talk to. You will not regret that decision.

Curt Lind and family were absolutely wonderful to work with. My daughter recently passed at age 31, which was so very hard, but Curt and family were so kind and comforting. Highly recommend this Funeral home.
