I worked with Sirin at Solid Kitchen and Bath to replace my outdated 1980s kitchen and powder room. The experience was enjoyable from beginning to end. Sirin listened to my ideas and guided me on design choices, sent me 3D renderings to envision the end result. The work was delivered on time and on budget. Communication was clear and frequent so I was always aware of what work was happening when. When inevitable challenges were encountered, solutions were always provided. I would recommend Solid Kitchen and Bath without hesitation; I love my new kitchen and bathroom.I want to replace my master bathroom and add a small guest bathroom and Solid Kitchen and Bath will be the first company I turn to.

Choosing a brand new look for bath isn’t easy and we wanted to hire professional service who can help us choose the right marble design and bathroom accessories. So we checked online and found this company and decided to give them a try since they’re the closest shop in the neighborhood. The sales person who answered the phone was very polite but has no idea of any of the questions we asked. She said she could get the person in charge to call us back. We gave them our contact number and email address but we didn’t hear back for days so we called again but the person who answered the call came at us very defensive. I was being polite by not ending the conversation abruptly but we went with another company. I will never know the quality of work they can promise but the experience I had with them, I don’t think I can recommend them to anyone.

So pleased to have worked with Solid Kitchen and Bath on our kitchen renovation. Sirin and her team were remarkable from start to finish. (And it was finished earlier than expected!)We met with three companies and Sirin and another company came out to our house to investigate. Of those two companies, Sirin was better at relating to us from the beginning and listening to what we wanted. Then we met with her in the showroom and selected finishes that we liked.We got pricing from all vendors and Sirins was competitive. Her edge was that she was great at helping us decide things and listening. The other vendors - not so much. She came out to our house once or twice more before construction started to evaluate the soffits (we were removing them) and measure. We signed a contract at that point.Work started as planned and they helped us re-plan our laundry room so that could act as our kitchen in the interim. Throughout the process, Sirin was great at sharing various options and helping us get what we wanted. There were a few times where we didnt understand something, but she helped explain it until we did. I learned to really trust her.The demolition and construction went beautifully. I was surprised at how clean our house stayed during the process thanks to the plastic up and the crew fastidiously keeping the site clean. We were able to walk through the kitchen everyday. Aside from a few items coming in damaged (which Sirin coordinated replacement asap), it all went perfectly -- actually, beyond my expectations.At the end of the project, we had captured a few questions via photos and text to her and all items were resolved fully on the last day.I look forward to working with her again on future bathroom remodels and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend she and your team for other projects.

I got a bathroom remodel and definitely recommend this company. They are very responsive and have excellent attention to detail. I was scheduled quickly and the workmen were friendly and respectful. Im very happy with the results!

5 starsI feel very lucky I found SCW. They came to help me decide how to make my home a nicer place and then gave a very realistic quote.I live in a very small studio, very little room to maneuver. This made the work more difficult, yet they completed the project to my satisfaction. While installing the laminate floor, painting the kitchen wall, repairing the bathroom cabinet, etc., they could pay attention to details and finished the work with efficiency. I am very pleased.They have high professional standard. As one SCW manager put it We are here to make you (customer) happy, another manager said We do the job just like we work for our own home.. They put these concepts to their work. I will definitely recommend SCW to my friends.Have a nice weekend,Alex

We hired them on march 2014 for a kitchen remodel project. They were very detail Oriented and nice. Very happy with the outcome.

1960a condo in Alexandria VA (3 bed/2 bath): Kitchen gut & remodel, master bath gut & remodel, hall bath gut & remodel, wood parquet floors refinished, closet doors and shelving installed, interior painting.Completed on-time and on-budget. A few minor punch list items remained after they left, but the team came out promptly to followup and we are very satisfied with the work.The biggest thing Solid K&B have going for them is the quality of their customer service. Ayk (Ike) is prompt and thoughtful. Communication from start to finish was excellent. The workmanship was solid, we didnt have anything exotic or complicated with the project, so many companies could have performed the work just as well, but Solid K&B set themselves apart with a high level of customer attention, which we appreciated.

BIDDING / Estimate / Design process (pre-construction)We solicited bids from four different companies. Each of them came out to view our kitchen and dining room and give us a bid on making one large kitchen, tearing down a non-load bearing wall. Two of those companies did not follow up. And today we decided to go with Solid Kitchen & Bath.Ike and Sirin have been prompt, communicative, upfront, realistic, creative, timely and available.We are about to start demo and i will follow up with how things go during construction and completion of the kitchen. We are excuted and hopeful.

Unfortunately, I was very unhappy with the response from Solid Kitchen and Bath. All I could get was lip service. I was unable to get the owner to look and measure the condo and provide a hard copy of an estimate to do the job. Evidently, he never returned my calls and didnt have the courtesy to at least tell me he wasnt interested in the job. Very unprofessional!
