Let me start by saying that Fawad is a professional, friendly & excellent salesman. He knows how to work a deal with a potential client and turn him/her into an actual client. Thanks to him I own this HOT looking SUV now! I didnt intend to buy this vehicle, but Fawad smoothly brought me in and Voila! This is what happened. I listed my 2006 Bentley Continental for sale on Facebook Market like a week ago . My intentions were just to do away with this car that I no longer use often. Fawad contacted me via Facebook and asked me to bring the car in, just to evaluate.Once I got to the dealership, he appraised my Bentley, offered me a tour to check out their inventory, asked me few questions and confidently allowed me to test drive this beauty which is mine now ! My experience at Land Rover of Alexandria, VA was phenomenal. Normally many people take time to write reviews when they have had a bad experience but for me this is totally the opposite. I have been looking to purchase a vehicle for over a month, Fawad, my sales agent told me that I would certainly be purchasing a vehicle from Land Rover of Alexandria. At the time I didn’t know that he would be right. Not only was he right but the customer service that I experienced, the care and concern for my purchase was remarkable. I never met a sales agent to take the time to look for what I wanted in a vehicle and reach out weekly as he found various things to see if he found a perfect car for me. As I looked at other dealerships, a month later I ended up back at Land Rover of Alexandria, Fawad was correct and there was a car waiting on me that was a perfect fit. Not only was their care and concern shown towards my desires for a vehicle, once purchasing the vehicle, Tyler the manager ensured that everything was perfect. He went over and beyond to ensure every detail was fixed and covered. On one occasion upon bringing the car for a minor touch up he ensured that I had transportation when there was no loaner vehicles available by covering the expenses for a driver. Normally you can’t depend on sales agents or managers in a dealership to keep their word, but everything that was promised to me was delivered in a timely fashion. I highly recommend Land Rover of Alexandria if you’re looking for a luxury vehicle with a sales team that practices care and concern for their clients. A+ from me Land Rover of Alexandria!

Im giving 4 stars because it took a week to get an oil change. Other than that my service advisor (Mike Torres) was very helpful by providing me a loaner. Next time I woukd love to have a better loaner because the rental car company gave me something that was smaller which didnt accomodate my kids with their car seats and myself also because I have knee issues.

Adding context to my 5 star. We went on a super busy Saturday. The place was packed and we were only looking. We were eventually greeted by Collin Groves. He was superb! Although he was working with a few other customers, he squeezed us in and was available for every question we had. Poor guy was really running back and forth but we never felt neglected. Wait there is more....after we sealed the deal and went to finance it was closing time. We were the last people in the dealership. We met with the Finance Manager (I am so sorry because I cant remember his name or find my card with his name on it) he was awesome too. He was very thorough and explained everything so that it was easy to understand. The whole Land Rover Alexandria team was great. I would definitely recommend this dealership and ask for Collin when you visit.

For my first visit at this location, Mike & Ms. Gail was fabulous, they are a true asset to the company. The name Rover is as high as a Benz, however I felt I was just a number. The small things do matter. When you vacuum, put the mats cover, seats and the tray section back. The plastic wasn’t even on the seat. The side of my mirror has a smudge and the back window wiper stopped working so I had someone else to look at it and it’s working full time. I’ll take my vehicle to the Bethesda location. Attention to detail.Thank but no thank you.

Purchased my Defender from LR of Alexandria and had a very pleasant experience with the sales department and was glad that this dealership also has an Encore Product Specialist to show me how to use the vehicle.Many of the other dealerships dont have this extra person which is extremely helpful to get your moneys worth knowing how to use your extremely expensive new vehicle.Also, like most Land Rovers I had a few issues in the beginning but service fixed my vehicles issues quickly and had plenty of Coke Classic in the fridge.I am very happy with the dealership and the service I have received here.

I wish I could give 5 stars and was asked several times by the salesman to give them 5 stars even though the service was clearly not 5 star service. I recently purchased a 2022 Defender. When I went to pick it up, it took over 2 1/2 hours to do the paperwork. I was left sitting at a desk alone with no updates and my salesman disappeared. I finally went outside to sit on the curb so I wouldn’t have to sit inside being ignored. No one offered me any updates, or water, or any explanation as to why they left me sitting there. When I was paying for the car at the cashier the manager came over to apologize after I commented that I didn’t appreciate how I was being treated. When the paperwork was complete, the salesman spent about 3 minutes telling me about the features of the car and asked more than once to give them a 5 star rating. I would recommend going to another dealership where your time and purchase power is valued. I hate to think that if I wasn’t a woman there on my own that I may have been treated differently.

I had my 2013 LR4 75,000 mile service completed this visit. BJ Alger helped guide me through service options, took care of all my needs, kept me updated on status, and was courteous/prompt. My vehicle was returned to me with out any additional items to address, which is exactly the attention to detail I expect. The other staff in the dealership were attentive and made sure I was being taken care of. Overall, a great experience and will keep me coming back with that level of care.

I took my car in 3 times to another dealer to address a problem that my service rep insisted they could not reproduce, was probably just the water tank or that maybe youre sensitive. After a year of the problem getting progressively worse, I took my car to Land Rover Alexandria. I was taken seriously, the problem was identified promptly and repaired in a timely manner. The staff are professional, courteous, attentive and provide frequent updates. Needless to say, I know where Ill bring my vehicle for service in the future!

Land Rover Alexandria is by far the WORST dealership I have EVER been to in my life. No one is helpful! I had an incident with my car and because I live close by I have been taking it there. I have been taking it to Land Rover Alexandria ever since I bought the car! A notification popped up on my dashboard! The notification was about the Forward Alert. My sensor for “Forward alert not available over 45mph” was not active or working. The notification popped up out of nowhere while I was driving. Anyways, I took it to the Alexandria dealership and they kept my car for about 12 days. Twelve days just to find the problem?????? Keep in mind that they told me that the car will be ready in 2 days...but it took longer!!! But that wasn’t even the issue. So they took the front bumper off to see what the issue was. They called me after 12 days and said my car is ready for pickup. I went to the Alexandria LR dealership and they told me unfortunately the sensor was damaged and they couldn’t get the warranty to cover it. They said I must purchase/buy a new the part (sensor). That would cost me about 5k or maybe more they said. There was no way I could pay that amount. So I decided to get another look and opinion. I got a second look at it and then they told me the sensor was there and not damaged! It was only the placement/setting were incorrectly placed!!!! At this point I was LIVID! Why would the service people lie and say that? Why are they trying to fool me? They are crooks! The other dealership I went to had my car for 2 days and said it was so easy to do. That’s very disturbing of Land Rover Alexandria to have done that! I have definitely changed dealerships because not only are they sufficient but they are friendly and listen to your questions, comments and concerns!

We went to Land Rover Alexandria 2712 Duke St, Alexandria, VA 22314 today and there was a room full of salespeople, no hello, no someone will be with you or even we only take appointments and lets see if we can make you one. Some salespeople were busy, most were not, some looked up and others ignored us completely. We walked through and not a word was said, so we finally went out the other door to look at the vehicles that I had been wanting for 2 years. We looked for about 35-40 minutes and still not one word from a salespeople, disappointed we left because our business wasnt Range Rover worthy. The only reason one star is given is because zero stars wasnt an option.

Possibly one of the best car buying experience I have had in a while, Collin(sales man) was very knowledgeable about all the vehicles he showed us. He kept up with us and made everything very easy was not to pushy to get a deal but was still eager to help us. Will be back for our next car and only work with him. When buying a car you want to know you got a good deal and are treated like a human being and not just for your money. He tells you like it is.only down fall was when I did not want to buy an extended warranty the finance guy got kind of upset. I get it that’s how you make your money but at this time I did not want it and he was very persistent and when I told him I would rather pay out of pocket for a repair he gave me a look like I disrespected him and said fine. Like dude chill I don’t feel like paying 100 more bucks a month, if something breaks I’ll pay for it. I know it’s a range I would not be here if I could not afford it. But the sales manager was awesome to shout out to him.

By far this is my worst experience. We live in a day and time where people, places continue to treat people differently 🤔. I took my wife into this place to purchase a vehicle. I guess cause I 🤷 didnt have GREAT CREDIT my services was to get me i in and out. I called several times before I posted this because I tried to resolve the matter with the GM. Not once did they reached out to me. We bought a car that had 2 bad tires, and unfortunately my wifes brother passed away. I explained this to them and my wife still had to wait several days before she got the car back. She was late traveling to assist in the final arrangements for her brother and the dealership nor the GM reached out to apologize for her being inconvenienced. They should be ashamed 😔.

BJ, my service advisor, is the man. In the past 2 months I had a major service AND (on no notice) needed BJs help for a blown tire. The tire was missing a large chunk of the tread...thanks to the construction on 66...and BJ quickly got my wife in and into a loaner.ALSO - Land Rover Alexandria was the ONLY local dealership that keeps these tires in stock!! The other two local dealerships in the area, to include a dealership that was 0.5 miles from where the vehicle was stranded, dont keep this item (and many other items) in stock. BUYER BEWARE! I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership on April 12, 2021. I am a Maryland resident and the vehicle needed to pass a Maryland State Inspection . I expressed to the sales associate named Favad that my biggest fear is the vehicle subsequently not passing the inspection for whatever reason. Favad assured me that the vehicle would pass and if it did not, they would address it. Well I took the vehicle to be inspected on 4/13/21 and it failed for warped brake rotors. I could not safely drive it back to Virginia to the dealership so I had to pay out of pocket to get it fixed. I sent all proper paperwork to Mr. Kenny Roberts and did not receive a response. I spoke to the General Manager Roger Wildermuth who stated the brakes were good when the sold it to me the day prior and there was nothing they could do. Once you sign the paperwork for this dealer, they could care less about you or the vehicle you purchased. To be told the vehicle failed the inspection only because a reputable company (Goodyear) wanted to extort me out of $958 is insulting. If you are considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealer, be careful with the product you buy. See text messages and notes in the pictures below.

Im an totally dissatisfied with the service I have been receiving from this dealership and their service department. I have an older land rover that I get serviced here, I spent $2,000 on it just 2 months ago. When my wife took the car back and reported having the exact same issues just 2 months later the service advisor gave me a list of things to fix, totaling ANOTHER $2,700! That list included new issues on the problems that were just paid to be resolved. When I asked how this was possible I was told older cars can have a lot of issues, as if I didnt know that. If I pay to fix a problem, and the problem isnt resolved, how is it possible to charge me for some different services- hoping to find a resolution but not knowing anything for sure. At this point I am buying a new car, and it is definitely not going to be from Land Rover of Alexandria. Theyve done nothing to earn my business.

I just purchased a beautiful NON-LAND ROVER used vehicle and I was treated like I was buying a brand new top of the line Range Rover. Sol my salesperson was very friendly and professional and got me a great deal. The manager even came over twice to meet me and say hello. This dealership sold me my 2020 Defender. I feel tricked because it had only parts of the off-road package (the side box and roof rack.) also was the step rails. What was missing? The ladder was missing. I had no idea it wasn’t on the vehicle until I was purchasing the car. So the dealership decided to give me the ladder and I install at my dealership. $500 to install a ladder? I asked them to just drill the holes- nope. Next issue is my sticker is coming off!!!! Landrover refuses to do anything about this.Stay clear from this dealership and LandRover. They do not care about the satisfaction of their customers!!!!

I received the most inadequate and unsatisfactory service from the Alexandria Land Rover Dealership, yesterday, May 7, 2021. I am a new owner of a 2018 Land Rover, purchased just short of six months ago. After driving it for just 3 months, I experienced it shutting off on me on occasions, always at a red light or when I was at a full stop in the drive gear. There is an Eco Auto-Stop feature in this model for the purpose of reducing fuel consumption and emissions, allowing the vehicle to automatically shut down, but it restarts the moment you step on the accelerator. This shut off feature I am well aware of, and this is not what I am making reference to. In my experience, my car was running while at a stop, shut off completely and then I would have to restart it again. I took it into the Alexandria Land Rover dealership, February 2021, and they concluded right away that it needed a new alternator. I paid an enormous amount of money for labor and parts. What do you do when you dont understand mechanical logistics, other than to trust in the integrity of the decisions and services rendered by the dealership. I started experiencing this same issue again. The car shut off while I was stopped and in the drive gear, but it always restarted with no hesitation. I called to make another appointment. After a bit of deductive reasoning, and just having a gut feeling that I was deceived by the dealership, I started realizing and remembering that whenever my car would shut off on me, I was taking my jacket off or reaching in my back seat, thus, having to take off my seatbelt to do so. I pulled out my manual, researched Google to discover that there is another Auto-Stop feature in the vehicle, When the break is fully pressed, in the drive gear and the seatbelt is unbuckled, the car shuts off.All I wanted was an explanation as to why no one ever thought to go through alternative possible scenarios of why the car shuts off, and begin with the process of elimination, prior to assuming that the alternator was bad, and just charging me money. Instead of the common courtesy of a pleasant greeting, a sense of empathy for my situation, and just overall quality of customer service, I experienced just the opposite. Coincidently, I had just submitted a raving review to this dealership after my first appointment in February, as the concierge was so kind and pleasant towards me. My second appointment was extremely disappointing. After requesting to speak with the manager to discuss this matter concerning the alternator vs. auto-shut off issue, I had to wait 20 minutes before seeing Justin Smith, Service Manager. He never got out of his seat to greet me. He never introduced himself to me. He had a blank look on his face when I walked in his office. He never smiled. He showed no empathy or concern for me and my dissatisfaction as a customer after I explained my situation. He was simply unprofessional and rude. I spent all of 5 to 10 minutes, at the most, in his office. I ended the discussion of whether my vehicle needed an alternator or not, after he said to me, “I don’t care nothing about your thousand dollars”. I was insulted by the unprofessionalism, and yet still never resolved what could possibly be an oversight on the part of the dealership. It is not about a refund. I just want recourse action for the unprofessional customer service and an explanation to justify why they chose to state that my alternator was defective, opposed to the car’s auto shut-off feature being utilized.

I have been delighted with Landrover of Alexandria. I have worked with them since 2008, and I am continually happy with the quality of service provided. My review today is specific to their excellent service department, which has gone as far as giving me a concierge loaner car (for car pick up and drop off) when I could not drop my vehicle off at the dealership. They have made servicing my car, detailing, and completing needed repairs beyond convenient and care-free. Our service advisor, Ash, whom we have worked with for several years, is responsive, accommodating, experienced, and an all-around delight. This dealership is RIP off stay away from it.Our leased car broke down. Unfortunately this dealer was the closest to us it got towed to this location, they told me that the repair would take a few days so they gave me a lawner car to use and when my car was ready to be picked up I went back to the dealer to give back the lawner and pick up mine to find out what the lawner is not a lawner its rental with very high cost. I got charged $862 .ther claim was that I couldnt go home with the lawner to pa where I live I had to stay in va for 10 days.

Due to a very unpleasant experience at another Land Rover dealership in Maryland, I was quite hesitant, and to be truthful, afraid to deal with any other LR dealerships in this metro area. I dreaded having to take my car in for a diagnosis, but I had no choice. When I walked in the Alexandria dealership on Duke St., I was greeted with such friendliness and warmth by Yujin. She was pleasantly kind and had the upmost customer service skills. I had to go back-and-forth to my vehicle a couple of times to gather a few belongings before they took my car in for service, and she was so understanding. She was very accommodating and answered all of my questions thoroughly and professionally. I adjusted my schedule around the time that I was told my vehicle would be ready the following day, but when I called to check on the status, I was given a different time. I was not happy and quite frustrated, which I expressed to Yujin. She went above and beyond to be sure that LR kept their word, and had my vehicle ready, along with a car wash. She did mention that they may not have time for the car wash, but she made it happen anyway.The closest dealership to me is In Hunt Valley, MD, an easy 20 minute drive. I am willing and eager to drive an hour across the bridge to return back to the LR dealership in Alexandria for service, advice and anything else concerning my vehicle.Thank you LR of Alexandria for your exceptional customer service.Lolita

This dealership stands out the most regarding customer service, sales, and pricing with your maintenance issues. Brought my RR Sport into Alexandria as a result of a national recall from the National Highway Transportation and Safety Administration. It took them over two weeks to even service the vehicle, then left it to me to contact RR America to clear up the terms of the recall. Since I had earlier work performed for this same recall, it was unclear to them if they could be reimbursed for additional work. Needless to say, I had to run down those traps for them.That took an additional two weeks to finally clear that up. When my vehicle was returned to me (after a full month), I noticed a dent in the driver side door windows trim, it was clear someone in the service department noticed it also, since it appeared to be rubbed by someone’s finger. We determined that someone attempted to break into my vehicle while it was on their lot. After confronting them about it, they decided they would repair it. I’ve followed up with them on multiple occasions, but I’m still waiting on the call to bring it in for repair. It’s been almost 4 weeks, and still, no phone call.This is NOT the first negative experience I’ve had with this dealership. Just the first time I’ve finally decided to post about it.

Ash Guasch is a service advisor. He is very experienced in service and engineering. I believe he was at Porsche prior to LR where he was one of the top service advisors. He is fair, knowledgeable, and will always do well by the customer. In this industry there is always a knowledge gap and so having a trusting advisor makes a huge impact.
