I really love Smiths i use them every time i even request them when im calling through my insurer. This time i was doing a friend a favor and paying out of pocket but they were my first choice.... 4 stars because the dispatch person was kind of snarky I dont think she meant to be ...but there is a way to explain yourself with coming across as abrasive.

Everything was pretty much perfect. We needed a quick tow for a broken down vehicle. We used our insurance’s roadside assistance. We were told Smith’s would be there within an hour. They were, understandably, too busy to drop everything because an insurance company called them so it took a little longer for the truck to arrive. The driver (Lil) was nice and extremely thorough. He did everything a good tow driver is supposed to do and he was only taking my SUV about two football fields away. My only advice is for Smith’s to give that guy a raise. Workers like that are rare.

Smiths Towing was called through my Country Financial roadside service. From the initial call to my location was less than 15 minutes. The driver (Lil) was very professional and knowledgeable about the job at hand. Dispatch made sure that I was safe and kept me informed about the status of the tow truck. Overall the service was amazing and will be my go to for future services if needed. Call Smiths if you ever need a tow you will be glad you did. By far the best in town!

My wife and I were returning home from Opelika on Saturday 8/1 when noticed smoke coming from our car. We pulled over on the side of Hwy 280 and checked out our car and found that transmission fluid was poring out. We contacted Smiths Towing. The driver arrived within an hour of talking to me. The gentleman that towed our car was very professional and and courteous, and above all very respectful to my wife and myself. In the future if I need towing these are the people Ill be calling. Absolutely amazing customer service! The worker Mr. Charles was very patient and kind. He helped me out and drove me to the nearest tire shop. I felt safe and I protected while traveling with him. I’m very thankful for their services and would definitely recommend this company to my family and friends because they are extremely fast, friendly, and patient with their customers.

I would recommend Smith’s Towing to anyone!!!!I live in Smiths Station, Alabama (close to Auburn) and was traveling to Huntsville, Alabama! Unfortunately, something went wrong under my truck. I called State Farm to assist me so they set me up with Smith’s Towing. As soon as State Farm let me go I immediately received a text and then a call from the dispatcher with Smith’s Towing and it was easy from that point til my truck arrived at home! She kept in touch with us and check in us til her driver arrived. My oldest son was on his way to get us and she informed me that her driver would not leave us until my son arrived! Once Marquis (her driver) arrived he was very nice and personable and had wonderful customer service skills! I was very comforted and at ease knowing myself and my truck were in good hands with Smith’s Towing!Thank you for a wonderful experience Smith’s Towing! 😍

The driver arrived within fifteen minutes of my insurance company dispatching them. The insurance company told me the eta was 45 minutes and they would be arriving around 11:02 pm. He was there and finished changing my tire and I was home by 10:50. He was quick, efficient and professional.

A vehicle broke down. To be exact, spark plug come flying out of the engine, causing it to make a loud knocking, unbearable, undrivable, hideous noise, putting us down, not necessarily in the middle of nowhere, but not within walking distance from home. Good thing for insurance and Smith Towing. My wife and I have 6 kids that live with us. Fortunately we only took 2 on for this trip when the vehicle broke down. Luckily I had service on my cell phone I called my mother. It was approximately 10 in the evening, she answered oh, not long after that she showed and picked up my wife and my two kids that were with us. Smiths Towing and their phone Representatives did an awesome job staying in touch with us until the tow truck arrived. He didnt necessarily get lost just not being from around these parts you can turn off or on to another road easily. Thats where the communication played a major Factor. Is GPS time and our GPS time or about equal all the way through the whole process. The driver was only seven to eight minutes off maybe which is uncompletable being that where he had to come from. I was amazed that he showed when he did and he even turned off on a different Road he called and he even turned off on a different Road, he called his dispatcher in he got my number and I guided him in from where he was again I say only seven to eight minutes all but no harm no foul. He did an awesome job loading the truck and he also escorted to me and my vehicle back home personally its just my opinion but I felt that that guy should have got at least a $0.20 raise he did an excellent job youre ugly night cold and muddy Smiths Towing at least I know for sure if you have one good worker and one good dispatcher sorry that I dont know the rest but Im sure that they do swell as well but I cant speak for them only the two that my wife and I dealt with thank you hey in my book and Im also a veteran that means a lot thank you very much! Godspeed!

Smiths towing did an excellent job of retrieving my vehicle and taking it to Joe Hudsons Collision. My vehicle was involved in an accident with a 🦌. Great service 😅

The tow driver (Marquis) was very friendly and professional but I was most impressed with the receptionist/dispatch, Bethany. Due to my insurance company moving slow I was stuck on the side of the road for over 2 hours before being connected with Bethany at Smith’s towing. When she found out how long I had been sitting in the nearly 100° heat, she offered to send a nearby family member of hers to bring me something cold to drink and even take me to an indoor location to wait comfortably for the tow truck to arrive. Courtesy and treatment like that is so rare these days that it’s almost unheard of, because of Bethany’s generosity I would recommend this company to anyone who is in need. My vehicle was moved safely to my destination, I’m very satisfied with the outcome and grateful to have had the privilege to cross paths with such a genuinely nice and caring person.
