Extremely disappointed in the level of customer service at our local Office Depot. I placed a curbside order for office supplies. Upon arrival I followed all check in instructions listed in my confirmation email. After waiting a few minutes I went inside to discover all curbside orders being placed on a pick up shelf with no attendant. On my way out the door, I decided to purchase one of the discount office chairs that are located on the curb. Upon checkout I was told I had to pay a $15 assembly fee because the chair preassembled. The cashier even had the nerve to write his name on the receipt and request I take the survey. Sadly, I will have to rely on Walmart and other large retailers for future office needs.

DONT BUY A COMPUTER FROM OFFICE DEPOT!!! I got a new computer for Christmas, sounds great right. Well, Im not a computer guy so to speak, so after a month of using it whatever antivirus it came with ran out. The next day windows no longer opens. So me, not being a computer guy, took it back to see if they would fix or I would return it. They wanted $120 to wipe clean $150 to clean and 1yr warranty. Then when I just want a refund it only had a 2 week return policy. So now I have a $900 Christmas present that is going to cost me minimum $120 to use again. Lol terrible company. Manager said they are already loosing$ on the computer.

Went in for a simple 500gb ssd. Not only did they not have the one I chose, they didnt have ANY SSDs. Can hardly call it an office depot. It looks out of business and the experience shows. The cashier was friendly

Was looking for a computer chair and a few things to set up my home office, tried to get help 3 times, same very young male associate walked by me twice, then the 3rd time I walked up to the copy and print station to see if I could get someone to help me, said excuse me to the same young man, he just looked at me, turned around and ignored me again. So I decided to put the $200 plus worth of items I had in my cart back. My sale would have been well over $300, almost $400 with the chair added on but since your associates cant be bothered to help your customers, your loss. Ill spend my money elsewhere and in the future, Ill get my office supplies for my home based business elsewhere as well.

Went there to purchase some copy paper. Could not get any service to pay for the item. One young girl was standing behind the counter putting stickers on small items, and never looked up to assist. All other staff also failed to assist. Walked out, never to return.

Ive had several items printed here in the past but felt I should share my most recent experience with Office Depot in Alcoa, TN. Mattie (Fairly sure this was her name) was fantastic to work with and went above and beyond to make sure the brochures I was having printed were perfectly aligned at the folds. She spent 30+ minutes adjusting and reprinting until they looked great. Based on my experience today I will most certainly be returning to this location for my future printing needs. The entire staff seems attentive to the customers. Thank You!

Visited the store to purchase a webcam for my desktop computer. After wondering around the store looking for the item and asked an associate what isle the webcams were located. She advised they were none in stock with no explanation if they would ever have any in the near future. Shouldve just ordered it from Amazon if the first place. This is why the future of brick and mortar stores are in dire straits.

Copy Center is awesome! I had an order that had many paper-clipped documents that had to be kept in order and copied individually. They did a perfect job! It would have taken me hours to do it myself. I was very impressed with the accuracy and how quickly they got it ready. Highly recommend.

Office Depot in Maryville used to have a gentleman in the print department who could get ordered done correctly, but since he left, every single order I have placed has been incorrect. When I asked to speak to the store manager, I was greeted my a young man named Ricky, who immediately showed by his body language, rolling his eyes and monotone voice that he did not care about my issue. I simply said I wanted the print size to be correct and he said they cannot guarantee accuracy and could not do anything for us. Office Depot now provides the worst customer service I have seen, and I don’t know how they are still in business in our area.

The staff and management really cares about the concerns of their customers I was really satisfied especially with the treatment I received from Jenna in the print department and the district manager Jack who quickly resolved an issue that I had I made sure that I was fully satisfy I really appreciate the service that I received from them both. I would definitely recommend this location.

I ordered 19 copies of a 44 page booklet 8 days ago and just got it back today. A little slow in getting it printed. But I must compliment JENNA who worked with me on this project. She worked extra to help me with a color issue that I had visually (from my own saved work) on the front cover. It was a pleasure to work with her and I felt comfortable trusting a very important project with her, getting all my questions answered, and it all set up. Jenna was very competent and professional and kind and patient with my novice understanding of how to get this work put together. Thank you, JENNA. Hardly ever anyone there - customers or employees. Hard to get help. When we finally did the guy was nice as was cashier. I just always feel like shopping here os difficult because its hard to get assistance. Since Staples closed its the only close option.

Terrific staff, very helpful and knowledgeable. They have a shipping and receiving dept, and simply send your photos to their email and theyll print them out for you on whatever type and size paper you want in color and black&white, very cheap too! They also do computer repairs, virus protection, and ink cartridge recycling. Pretty cool place. Its cheap if you need to print or fax anything and the employees will go out of their way to help you. Highly recommended!

Calling in and delivery service has been great, but trying to find help in this store while shopping is very hard. Noticed clerks are busy on their cell phones in the corner most of the time. Love the variety of products in the store, but it is to pricey.

The personnel in this facility need serious retraining as to how to service customers when they come in the facility and how to be professional and acknowledge and take care of customers when they enter the building. The management needs to inform the employees that personal issues are not to be taken care of the customer and that the customer always comes first. I know that I wont be back and neither will anyone that I do business with or am related to or associated with in any form or fashion. I also will be relaying this forward to the District, Regional and Corporate levels so no else is relegated to this lack of professionalism.

First visit was not a positive experience. After checkout, I was not confident I was charged correctly. So, I go back to the lady to confirm it was the right amount. She was annoyed and rude, saying I should have been charged more for the excess lamination that was wasted since the girl that did it was new. After later speaking with the manager, she confirmed this is not the policy. I will not be coming back to this store.

Glad the staff is friendly and willing to help, but you never would have known it when I went in there. I went in at 830 tonight to drop off a package. One employee was helping someone, and didnt bother to acknowledge my presence or call anyone else to help. For 10 minutes I stood there while they helped the other customer, and while another employee walked by repeatedly. After 10 minutes, I took my package and left with still no recognition from the staff. I guess I probably wont be back.

I purchased item and had only receipt they gave me. The product was defective and I returned it. I paid cash, but they were only going to give me in store credit. I eventually got to speak with manager and he looked up my rewards card number and saw I had purchased item previous evening. After initial hassle I finally got my cash refund. Long story short, make sure cashier gives you a complete receipt with your merchandise listed on it. She only gave me a partial receipt with my name, rewards card number and my amount of change. Had I not insisted on speaking with manager, I couldnt have got my cash back. CHECK YOUR RECEIPT.

My fiancé and I had been trying to find the best option of a chair for about 10-15 minutes and finally found one that would properly support my back, neck, and shoulders at my office. Of course - no assistance was offered to help speed up this process. My fiancé then asked an associate to assist with the assembly of this $400 chair - his response after informing us it would be $12 for either the floor model OR to assemble - “We close soon - I can’t assemble a chair in 6 minutes.” My fiancé offered to help out to speed up this processs up.Some form of a “manager” decided then to tell us that she could only offer us the floor model - at full price + $12. Approximately a $400 purchase and no one can offer a few minutes of their time to help out a customer assemble a chair? Really?

Ordered business cards on a Tuesday around noon. Was assured Id be emailed the proofs that night, as I live a 40 minute drive away. No proofs. I called was told that Id been told 24-48 hours. This was a lie. I HAD to have the cards for a show that weekend. Was assured I would have them. On Thursday, I drove 40 mins into town, bought ink and card stock (I should have done that in the first place!) to make my own cards. I spoke to a manager that was mystfied that I was told Id have cards so quickly since they take a minimum of 10 days. I told her to forget the order and that Ill make my own. I was still in town, less than 10 minutes after I left the store, when I get a call to come in and see the proofs. The cards should be ready sometime in the afternoon. I have several hours of work to do for this trip. I cant hang around in town for up to 6 hours for a maybe. If the store has a item in stock, fine. But a custom order? Plan on being lied to and screwed over.

I looked in my local telephone book to call Office Depot for a need that I had looking for a particular item. The number in the book is a fax number. This is frustrating when needing information. I looked online and did find the phone number with the location. The online description lists the phone number to be 981-4559 which actually is a fax when dialed. To me this is not good marketing.

Im not sure whats happened in the last few months, but Ive noticed many changes to this store recently... and I like them. First, theyve remodeled and rearranged their shelves so that more items are at eye level and fewer things are out of reach. Second, the staff are incredibly friendly and eager to help. Third, they frequently go above and beyond what their coupons state and will beat competitor prices with no questions asked.The cashiers often ask you to provide feedback online which Ill gladly do to report good customer service (not to mention that you get a coupon). One day I did so and mentioned that, after I got home, I noticed that one of the items I bought differed in price from what was listed on the sticker (it was a difference of less than a dollar). I received a call back from an apologetic manager in less than 10 minutes!
