This place is super nice. Beautiful wood floors and rugs throughout. Classic NM look. Very tasteful and nice details. Easy walking distance to Flying Star Cafe for coffee and breakfast. Not far from groceries and local restaurants. The place was spotless when I checked in. Close (10 minute drive) to Old Town and the Interstate. The kitchen lacks nothing - all the furnishings, pots, pans, etc. are there and everything looks brand new. The property is very well equipped. If you need it, it has it. The host Michael made himself available as need and was very helpful. He lives just down the street so he is there if you need him but you still have total privacy. When friends and family come to visit I will definitely put them up here.

Great house and great host and owner!! We very much appreciated that the owner was very accommodating to our schedule since we were arriving during the start of Balloon fest and Michael, our host, met us at the house when we first arrived and gave us a tour of the house so we would be familiar with where to find everything. The house is lovely inside and out. Very comfortable and well stocked. We enjoyed the garden immensely and the location of the house was perfect since it was close to our friends house and close to the Flying Star restaurants and shops. We will definitely be back!!

This was my first stay at a VRBO rental and it could not have been better. I arrived after midnight but had been given perfect instructions on how to enter the property. The property is perfectly maintained and had every possible amenity. I immediately felt right at home. It is centrally located in a very quiet neighborhood. My only disappointment is that I couldnt stay longer. I live in Boston and this stay inspired me to spend more time in Albuquerque....at Casa La Huerta!

What a fantastic place. The fenced in yard was great for the kids to play and the historic appeal was great for the family. We will definitely be going back.

This was our second time to stay at Casa La Huerta and again it was a wonderful experience. We love coming to Albq to shop at the Swapmeet and the great Antique stores. The rental house is close to all of our favorite stores. Its so nice to have a comfortable, quiet place to relax in after a day of shopping. Michael is so nice as the property manager. We felt safe and will be back again.
