Mammogram and Pelvic Ultrasound made to feel welcomed and comfortable!

The location is hidden behind the Womens Hospital. The service they provide is range from breast imaging and also other providers in ultrasound as well. I was treated kindly and welcome by staff. When entering they had to check my temperature and they were helpful with pointing me in which direction I needed to go to get me situated in my appointment. I recommend this place to any of the services needed. They are very informative, kind and helpful

I usually like coming here for mammograms but not today. Check in was efficient. I arrived 15 minutes early as requested. But waited 30 minutes after my scheduled apt time to get the images taken! If this happen again Ill be looking for a different place to get mammograms.

There us nothing fun about a mammogram but the staff has always made me feel very comfortable. I have always left with a smile on my face even when I had questionable results and had to come back! I only hope that I too, have put a smile on their faces😃

Best experience I could have had for a first time mammogram!!

I have gone to the Breast Imaging Center for mammograms for the last 5 years. They provide a comfortable experience for what most of us dread. I am always able to get in quickly, and during Covid19 they provided me with great, safe service. There was someone waiting at the door to let me in, check my temperature and ask about my health. The front desk person was friendly and competent. I didnt wait long. The radiological tech was gentle and explained the process clearly. I will definitely go back and recommend this place to friends.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 and have been coming to The Breast Imaging Center for 16 years. I have had the absolute best care every single time I have been in for an appointment. And...I’ve been there a lot! I highly recommend their providers and staff!

Tammy was extremely friendly, polite, professional and made the appointment very comfortable. The clinic was disinfecting between each patient, doing social distancing and hand sanitizer. Definitely made me feel more comfortable being there during Covid for an exam that needed to be done.Only downside the check in time was a little longer so just make sure to show up early!

I have visited 3 times and i always receive professional and EXCELLENT service from start to finish. I will only go here as long as I live in Albuquerque, NM.

I am here with my mother for a diagnostic mammogram and ultra sound. The office is quite clean and has refreshing water; waiting areas are private (with a landline phone available for use!). The office staff are professional and friendly. My mother was called back shortly after her scheduled appointment time.

I have always received appointments within a few days of a request (compared to waits of 2-3 months or more back East) and the processing and treatment have been exceptional in politeness and professionalism. Plus, where else can you get a mammogram while listening to an exceptional flamenco guitarist perform! We get other medical care outside of Albuquerque but I insist on getting my annual mammogram here. .

My Name is Helen I have been coming here for 5 yrs the care was amazing . The past 6 months has been HORRIBLE!! You feel like a heard of cattle being pushed through mammogram. I was there today on the 3rd of December they had 70 mammograms scheduled a radiologist doesn’t have time to talk to you this was not the the process before I think I need to make a change if you recommended to come here don’t go . Look for a different place to have your mammograms this is to important to leave feeling so unsure about your care especially if your a cancer survivor

What a great experience I had. I recently had a biopsy done and due to my young age I was nervous about the whole process, however their staff makes you feel very comfortable. From the lady you check in with on the right to the lady that makes your follow up appointment. Kathryn Miller took her time to come and speak to me and answer questions. She did it such a loving patient manner. The actually doctor that did the biopsy I give 5 stars and commend( forget her name ops). Highly recommend though!

This is a dedicated activity and the only game in town so while imaging and quality are likely good, patients are staged in rooms with substantial waits as the staff catches up. Im sure this is good for XRANMs bottom line, but can be stressing for patients. In my case the experience was a little over 2 hours for a diagnostic, most of which time was waiting for staff. Its hard to believe they couldnt do better, but then again with no competition, they dont have to. As a retired nurse, its a bit disconcerting to see where Medicine is going.

My Wife uses this Facility and they are very Professional and courteous, and smile and greet you when you get there. They are very kind to the Patients and explain to you your results, and sometimes can even take care of the problem the same day. Especially if it is a Biopsy. I and My Wife especially recommend this Facility to anyone who is looking for their needs.

Set up appointment and read them the exact test off the paperwork I was given. Took the day off from work to go to the exam and got told I wasnt scheduled for the test I scheduled for. Refused to make exception since it was their screw up. Said I had to reschedule for the test I told them over the phone. If I could give a negative score they would be -5 for details and customer service and empathy.

Awful place. Liars from the front desk to the manager. I waited 2 hours and 47 minutes. The manager never even acknowledged my inconvenience. They write more legalize in their letters than anything else. I have absolutely zero confidence in their staff, their administration or their statements about your results. You are better off someplace else.

I just turned 59 the other day. The woman doing my mammogram called me young lady several times. Why? It made me feel very uncomfortable~ and it felt condescending. Why call attention to a persons age?

Getting my mammogram updated was a 2018 New Years Resolution! I have always had them done at Xray Associate of NM and thank goodness for that consistency. Dr. Anthony Miller found an extremely small change in a calcification pattern from the previous mammogram and I attribute this clinical acumen to nothing short of stellar! It easily could have been missed or overlooked but it was not. I had all work-up done very quickly, in fact he himself had called the breast surgeon himself within an hour of the biopsy results showing cancer--early but ugly. I have had the opportunity to be cared for along this journey so far by several Breast Imaging radiologists, their mammographers, ultrasound, techs, MRI techs, patient advocate, front desk staff. They have all demonstrated a very compassionate, professional level of wonderful care. Honestly, the care has been what I would term my ideal expectancy.The bar continues to be set very high at all the Xray Associates of New Mexico locations continuing the legacy of Dr. Michael Linver!

Very slow in sending mammogram results to patient. There was a long wait between scheduled tests. It took 5 weeks for me to hear everything was ok. Always crowded and a little hectic. In general, just hard on your nerves at a time that you do not want extra stress.

The treatment of me and my spouse was atrocious yesterday and today. She was asked to pay $750 on a credit card for imaging that is covered by our insurance. Now we will have to wait probably 2 months for reimbursement from X-ray Associates of NM. I called today and spoke to several people, they refuse to do anything about it. Chose another place, this is not the place to go to!
