Chuck showed up at my house after I had been given no timetable for arrival (the voicemail only said the day, not the time window), no phone call in advance, and no attempt to call me after realizing I was not home. He went through my gate and to my backyard and wrote some general notes about the grass which he left under my doorstep. It would have been nice to be called first so I could have been there to ask specific questions. I was able to ask these questions later over the phone, but he didn’t have any answers. Thanks for nothing.

We switched from the other guys who are a popular lawn care outfit locally. Pretty much all the same services we were getting, but at a better price. Lawn Dr always calls, usually a day ahead of their visit, and they have never not shown up within about a half hour (tops) of when they said they would be there. A great side benefit, that prevents us from having to sit around waiting for someone to show up. (Though in all fairness, mostly they have access to our yard and we really dont need to wait around.) Courteous and prompt response to the one time I had to call and ask for an additional visit. Highly recommended.

I have been using Lawn Doctor for about 15 years, since the other big-name own care company failed me. Chuck and his Lawn Doctor team are reliable and have given me the nicest yard in the neighborhood according to repeated comments I hear from neighbors. Our lawn didnt look very good before Lawn Doctor started coming out. Have been using them for a couple of years now and were very happy with the results weve seen. Still not quite where wed like it to be but I think this might be the year we get there. Definitely would recommend their service! 👍

By the end of last summer, my lawn was overtaken by spurge weeds! In November, the Lawn Doctor saved my lawn with some kind of spray and this spring the lawn has come back the best it’s ever been in the last 35 years. At the end of March, I had them aerate & fertilize my lawn which will soon get me back to just watering & mowing. I was convinced that my lawn was gone, but the doctor’s crews definitely saved me from replacing it with an expensive synthetic putting green.I deliberately waited to provide this review because in February I also had them apply a pre-emergent weed spray on my front yard which is 100% landscaped with various types of gravel. And now I can report a second miracle, because I still don’t see a single green weed! My back feels so great that this year, and from now on, there will be no more back-breaking weeding sessions.What was I thinking all these years? If you don’t call the Lawn Doctor, you only have yourself to blame for unnecessary work.What else can I say: “Now I have 2 favorite doctors (my primary care physician and the Lawn Doctor)!!”

Great lawn service. Lawn Doctor helped us revive our lawn. We were wasting water, and our efforts to fertilize, aerate, etc. on our own had not worked. We had xeriscaped one large area of grass but wanted to keep some lawn area surrounding our patio area. Not only do their treatments work well, but they have taught us how to take care of watering, spotting any concerns, etc. They always let you know when theyre coming, arrive on time, and let you know when to water afterward. I recommend all their lawn services. Our lawn looks great. Several neighbors use them, too, because they saw how much our lawn improved after using Lawn Doctor.

They always do a great job at keeping our lawn healthy and happy. We’ve been using them for going on 7 years now. They also come out every spring to spray our front and backyard with weed prevention and we never have to pull a single weed all spring/summer/fall! They’re customer service is always excellent (we had one scheduling snafu, but they responded and resolved it timely and professionally). They have a “ma & pa” feel, with a stellar depth of products and services. We will continue to use them for many many years.

I have used Lawn Doctor approximately 8 years. Always reliable and will happily explain any issues with my yard. The office staff always notifies me in advance when to expect them.I also used them for winter clean up, however they stopped providing that service last year.

Lawn has been looking great using Lawn Doctor for the past few years! My technician noted on one of the treatments that grubs may be attacking my lawn and they took care of that issue as well. Their techs arrive timely and are always friendly.

We use Lawn Doctor every year. It has never looked better. As our home is in the North Valley, cranes visit our neighborhood every year. Our neighbors have pecked yards where we do not. The birds really do tear the yards up if you dont do grub control. We have Lawn Doctor do fertilization and grub control. They are great.

Consistently good service. They go beyond just providing basic service. For example, they removed my blades on my lawn mower so I could have them sharpened. They always lock my gate when finished with their service. Will continue to use their service.

This company comes up when you utilize Home Advisor for weeding. They do not weed, they ONLY spray for weeds. They dont even tell you verbally how to receive the best results, like water the ground for saturation, you have to read the receipt to get the best results. Then you have to hire someone else to come and clean up the weeds.

My grass was dying! I tried another company in town for their treatment and it seemed my grass was getting worse after. So I called these guys. They put me on their rotation and always kept me well informed on what to do and not do for watering and cutting. My grass now looks amazing! Worth every penny!

I have been very pleased with this company. They are knowledgeable, professional and their products and services are what they purport to be. I have used other companies in the past for landscape needs/problems and none of them have given the results this company has. They are truly five star.

The technicians know the answers to my questions or know who to ask, and someone always gets back to me. If I point out a problem (eg, why is this area of my wisteria looking wilted?), they are very accommodating about taking care of it.
