MSN started out as a rather decent company to work for. However, when it came to me having to cancel certain shifts due to ice/snow (actual weather reports of my city basically on shut down), my child being sick (with a doctors note), and a family member spontaneously passing while on my way to a shift, they were completely inconsiderate and non-emphatic. While these events were 100% out of my control, and even with appropriate notice, their main concern was how upset they were that they still had to pay their client and I was the one giving them a bad name. Less than 24hrs after my family member died, I received an email from MSN stating that it was unacceptable for me to leave the client in a bind and cancel last minute, regardless of the circumstances. I would never recommend working for an employer like this.
