Dr. Martinez and staff are amazing. I was there for extractions and was really nervous and scared. Dr. Martinez made me feel at ease, took her time to make sure that I felt as comfortable as possible, at the same time she worked fast. Her efficiency and awesome personality made the process smooth and I felt so much better after. Thank you so much for taking care of your patients like you do Dr. Martinez ❤️ Also special thanks to Cinthya who was her assistant is so nice and caring. Last but not least thanks to Nicki who did my cleaning, was gentle and did a great job. Front desk is awesome great staff.

The office was well organized and clean. Very efficient, friendly service. However the price for my crown was quite a bit more expensive than my previous dentist had charged for just a few years ago.

Ive been a patient with Dr. Mortley for many years. This was my first visit since his move to High Desert. It was a big change as the staff I knew are no longer with him. Big change! Frankly, I miss my old hygienist. High Desert is a pleasant place. The staff are friendly. But, I did have to wait more than a 20 minutes for my appointment.

I first went to High Desert because I had a dental emergency and they were one of the only only offices that would see me for an emergency visit. I have since established both my kids there as patients. They are just as awesome with kids as they are in an emergency. The hygienists are so kind and so amicable! And they are great at what they do. You are immediately put at ease and they are never rough and never rude about going over your dental health. I had never experienced that before. I had a terrible toothache and had a wisdom tooth pulled same day. They were very friendly and somewhat calmed my nerves, as it was my 2nd time getting a tooth pulled. The dentist and hygienist were very nice and the process took about 10 minutes from start to finish.. I am in not nearly as much pain and it seemed to go smoothly! Thank you so much!!

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Oz Rodas at High Desert Dental for over 6 months. He and his staff have always been friendly, knowledgeable and certainly capable for all the dental work we have had done these past few months. I have always felt safe during this pandemic time. As to the various procedures needed the staff was very thorough in explaining the plan for my dental needs. Wait time in the office is very short and comfortable. Their office hours are very accommodating for the needs of many patients with different time restraints. I have felt completely comfortable with this practice which we came to after over 30 years with our previous dentist who retired. We definitely would recommend High Desert Dental to others, and actually one of our adult children on our suggestion has become a patient at High Desert Dental.

Today has changed my feelings & opinion about visiting a dental office, or at least this dental office and its only taken 63 years. A very pleasant atmosphere, the staff is wonderful & Dr. Oz is amazing. Set your fears aside and give them the opportunity at serving your family.

Dr.Oz noticed I was wearing a bracelet from the hospital and asked if I had been there. I told him my young daughter was there and we’d be staying a few days. He showed a lot of compassion and concern for my daughter. Thanked me for coming in for my appointment even though we were going through a family situation. After the appointment at check out the young lady gave me a very nice big stuffed animal ( orange bear) and a get well card for my daughter signed by the entire staff!!! That was the most thoughtful situation I have ever experienced! I gave it to my daughter when I got back to the hospital and she had a smile from ear to ear and made both of our days!! Thank you to Dr.Oz and his amazing staff for all their hard work and incredibly kind gesture!!! I highly recommend High Desert Dental and will continue to get my dental needs only with Dr.Oz and their wonderful staff!!!

Dr.Mortley has been our family dentist for years. My daughter called me in the middle of the night and told me she was experiencing unbearable pain near her wisdom teeth. I called High Desert and left a message asking if she could be seen as soon as possible. I received a text back even before they opened saying they had a spot and Dr Mortley would see her. They took such good care of her and I am grateful as always for their kindness and compassion for their patients.

I had an abscessed tooth that needed to be pulled and high desert dental took my appointment that same day and were flexible with the scheduling. Dr oz, staff and hygienists were wonderful and very personable helping make an uncomfortable experience much better. everyone was efficient and the actual process didnt take long at all. i went in for a follow up and a teeth cleaning and was very happy with the work and will definitely be retuning for any future dental work. 5 out of 5 would highly recommend.

Great place to get your smile needs taken care of. Everyone in the office is super sweet and friendly. Got a cleaning and went back for a filling about a week later. Very gentle, even the shot to numb me up wasnt bad (and thats usually the worst part). Definitely recommend High Desert Dental, they are the best!

Dr mortley (my dentist of over 20 years) moved into this new building and was joined by a new doctor, Dr Oz. Unfortunately my dental hygienist of over 20 years retired (and we didnt get to say goodbye to linda. We love you linda! Happy retirement!!!) but I was greeted by a fresh, beautiful, chipper young hygenist named Taylor. Taylor has great chairside manner, beautiful cleaning cool new tools. I was immediately put at ease and disarmed by her charm. We will continue going to high desert dental as I trust Dr Mortley and his decisions... Just dont go and retire right away Dr Mortley we need you.

It was a Saturday afternoon and I needed an emergency tooth pull. I had an abscessed tooth that was incredibly infected. It was affecting my whole body. Dr Oz took my appointment without hesitation. He and his dental assistant were exemplary. They were both calm, patient and extremely professional.I’ve had cavity fillings that were more scary than this. He numbed me perfectly, the extraction was swift and painless. They both made sure I was comfortable and safe. He even did somatic work to help me with my anxiety. Dr. Oz is a pro I can’t recommend this practice enough. I’m not going anywhere else for my dental needs!

Shannon, the hygienist, explained everything she was doing and she has the most gentle hands. Dr. Oz was great - focused on what he saw and what my priorities are. It was an excellent experience!

My crown came off over the weekend and Dr. Ozzie scheduled me to see him and have the crown cemented back. Dr. Ozzie and his wife are amazing people. Down to earth doctor took his time in getting to know me as a patient and explained the treatment. His wife Taylor is very outgoing and demonstrated professionalism and they both made me feel like part of the family. I’m sad that Dr. Ross has retired; with Dr. Ozzie and his wife now running the dental practice I am happy to continue being a patient for this practice. I highly recommend this practice. 👍👍👍👍

I had a crazy accident and chipped a tooth in half and knock 3 other teeth out of place. I freaked out and left a message pretty late in for Dr. Oz as I needed immediate attention and not only did he get back to me he saw me very quickly. I found myself in somewhat a fix—my dentist of 5 years retired. Made a ‘soonest’ appt to address a new cavity. On morning of appt, the dentist office called and was cancelling. Knowing I would be leaving.I looked online snd found HIGH DESERT DENTAL.They were able to get me in at same time as my other appointment. The front desk, dental assist and Dr Is were all as good as it gets!!!! When discussing how to approach my problem, we came to a reasonable plan. Dr Oz may be young and few years if experience but once he started, he knew his profession.I now have a young dentist family that will manage my care throughout my retirement.Am super happy!!!!

I had significant pain in my tooth and called to see if I could get it checked that night because the pain was so bad. Dr. Oz and his wife dropped what they were doing and met me at the office to take a look. THEY TOOK ME IN AFTER HOURS. WHO DOES THAT? They did a root canal quick and easy that night. Right when you walk into this office, you know this is the BEST dental clinic in town! The office is clean, bright, spacious, organized, and all staff is gentle and friendly. Dr. Ozzie was one of the best! He is not only respectful and personable, but also very skilled dentist. Experience and skill sets really can make a difference in a variety of ways, from the quality of the result to the amount of time that a procedure takes. It took him only a minute to set a crown! I was very impressed with Dr Ozzie’s skill. Dental assessment and cleaning by Dan was one of the most pleasant dental cleaning ever! He was thorough and detailed to a fault. He was very soft-handed and it didn’t even feel like he was using a sharp scaler to remove tartar and calculus. My quest for the best dentist and hygienist in ABQ finally came to an end after many years!

Dr. Oz was my dentist in Farmington. I was sad that he left. He goes above and beyond his ability to what he can to help you with your dental problems. Hes a great dentist and I reccomend him to anyone that needs a dentist. Whether its after hours or a weekend, hes there to help. His pretty dental hygienist is also great!! Dr. Oz moved to Abq, I found him and booked an appt. He did a great job on my front bridge and needed work on it. I will not let any other dentist work on my teeth. When I arrived at Dr. Oz office the whole stuff was very polite and friendly.

This morning I went to High Desert Dental for the first time. It was the best dental visit Ive ever experienced. I was greeted by a pleasant staff. The dental hygienist, Daniel was informative as he took images of my teeth and later gently performed a cleaning. DDS Ozzie (OZ) Rodas then reviewed my current dental health and care options going forward.

Daniel is a super hygienist and gave me the Cadillac of Cleanings. Really happy with my first visit and plan to return.

Friendly staff, small fingers!, knowledgeable, would recommend this office to anyone looking for a good dental office.
