Sylvan learning center has been a big help for my son! He has only been going for 3 and half weeks now and I can really tell a difference in his reading and comprehension, which has helped him in his math and science too. I look forward to see where my son is at in another 3 weeks.:)

Our son fell behind academically during the COVID shutdowns (like a lot of kids did), especially in reading. He missed the normal, in-person school environment for 1st grade and most of 2nd grade. We decided to give Sylvan a shot to help him catch up. We have been at it for a little over 2 months and we can already see the difference in his reading ability. He is reading faster and struggling less with the more difficult words. He also enjoys going to his sessions, which makes it a lot less painful for everyone. The program is structured and keeps him engaged and excited. Im really glad we found this place.

My daughter Loves going to Sylvan she looks forward to class every week and she never felt that way in a typical school. She has made a lot of progress in the short time she has been at Sylvan west side. She has mastered math skills that she never learned or extremely struggled with in a regular school setting.The school told us progress would be limited and not to expect a lot of growth ( that was extremely hard to hear)! At Sylvain she’s already mastered many things that she should have learned in the typical school setting.My only regret is not bringing her to Sylvan much sooner.

My daughter has been with Sylvan for several years now and I credit her educational success and growth to Sylvan. When she started she was behind grade level in several subjects and now she is right on track and feeling confident in these areas. I love hearing her say that she knew an answer in school because of what she learned at Sylvan! Not only has she improved in skill, but her confidence has also grown. I enrolled my child in Sylvan due to her struggle with math and reading comprehension. Part of that struggle included confidence. Shes been working with the wonderful tutors at Sylvan for approximately five months now. Her confidence in these subject areas has exponentially improved and her knowledge has expanded. They helped get her to the grade level she is currently in and their level of communication and sharing is amazing, easy and professional. I truly appreciate all that Holly, Ms. Reina, and Ms Aurelia have done to help my child grow in her success and confidence.

My son is a special needs student and we have used Sylvan Learning as a supplement to his regular school. Sylvan has helped him reach grade level in reading and has done wonders for his math. The staff at Sylvan Learning are wonderful and communication has always been top notch. I highly recommend Sylvan to anyone looking to boost the education and confidence of their student.

Juan, My Grandson, was passed on to 3rd Grade last year even though his work and progress showed he was performing at the end of 1st grade level. I took him to Sylvan Albuquerque West Side for an assessment which confirmed that he was at end of 1st Grade Level. I enrolled him in Math and Spelling/Reading and in just a few short months he made remarkable progress. He attended from June to the end of September and went from end of 1st Grade Level to start of 3rd grade and was ready to take on the new school year. Totally impressed with the quality of the staff and the instructions he received and I wont hesitate to continue his Sylvan Experience. Excellent Job Sylvan, Thank You SO Much.

Second time using them for both my boys. It did oWonders for my oldest as has greatly helped my middle son as well. Both grew confidence and tools to navigate school that suited their individual needs. Everyone there are super friendly and helpful. Would recommend for anyone child needing that hand up in their schooling.

My daughter was really struggling before she got started with sylvan. Since then her grades have drastically improved and she is much more confident than ever before. She is more excited to learn.

I am incredibly impressed by Sylvans success with my daughter. Her comprehension, vocabulary, fluency and spelling have improved dramatically in a very short amount of time. My daughter loves her tutor and cant wait to go back after each session, and shes already going three times a week! Their methods are proved to be effective, and the staff is really great! Sylvan has made such a difference in my daughters reading abilities. She has been going for approximately 2 months and already the assessments have shown such a drastic improvement in her fluency, comprehension, etc.

Believe it or not my 6 year old boy “LJ” loves coming to turtoring. I have seen such an improvement since about a year ago. He is much more confident in his work and he is almost there in reading. This place is great to build your child’s self-esteem, especially if their struggling academically. We as a family would totally recommend Sylvan Learning for any child who needs that extra push!

This program has helped my son develop his reading skills and taught him to feel more comfortable and confident in the classroom. Miss Katie is wonderful too, she is great to work with and is extremely knowledgeable in helping to set and reach goals.

My nephew is in the fourth grade and he was having a very hard time reading he hasnt been at Sylvan for very long and already he is reading to me I dont think Ive ever been so happy Everywhere we go hes always reading signs to me its wonderful

My daughter was struggling with English and with the help of Sylvan she getting back on track. The staff is exceptional and my daughter enjoys going.
