Great provider! Fast better DSL service at the same cost as direct from provider. NOTE: call, do not drop in. They are very responsive by email or phone, but several people are working from home because of pandemic restrictions.

Southwest Cyberport may be the very best run company in New Mexico! Everyone there is both remarkably helpful and knowledgeable. Having their servers on site gives them a tremendous service advantage. For big or small needs, they are able to respond so quickly. Without reservations, I give them the highest recommendation!

These guys are super on point with their information that they give, especially Jared. He was amazing and I learned a lot from him! I never felt like he was trying to get me to buy a package just for the sake of selling but I really felt like he just wanted to give me the best deal. The world needs more people like this man!

Best ISP Ive ever used! I finally got fed up with the likes of Comcast and CenturyLink with their dreadful customer service, greed, and incompetence. I switched to SWCP and used their service for several years without any problems. Yes, I paid a bit more, but it was worth every penny because I got what I paid for. There is virtually no hold time when calling customer service. The staff is well-trained, intelligent, polite, and local. They never once raised the price I was paying. I was heartbroken when I had to move out of state and had to find a different ISP.

These people are great! I have been using them for about 8 or 9 years now. Their web hosting is super reliable and they are always available to answer the phone when you call and they provide great customer service. And I want to throw a plug out for their newsletter that is delivered in physical paper - that thing is awesome. Most companies email out a monthly newsletter, but put very little thought or effort into it so I never read them. But, the monthly newsletters that SWCP sends out are really insightful, well researched and well drafted, you actually learn something with them - they have the best newsletters that I have ever seen.

I had their internet in 2015 and they were awesome and friendly. Even when I owed money they were pretty nice and understanding. I liked them so much I even paid off my debt after I moved. I just moved back and hoping to sign up with them again in the future. Im glad theyre still around I hope they havent changed.

On Friday 6/23/17 at 4:06pm we were going southbound on the highway just before the San Mateo exit. Traffic was almost at a standstill. A driver of yours in your van drove on the shoulder going about 60mph to pass all of us. The shoulder is for emergencies not for people to use when theyre late. I dont usually write these kind of reviews but he put a lot of people in danger. It also makes me wonder what kind of people you have working for you if they dont care about the lives of people how are they going to care about the work they do.

SWCP is my go-to hosting service for my clients website projects. Their staff provides fast, friendly tech support by email and by phone. Plus theyre LOCAL, so you never have to talk with someone you can barely understand who is halfway across the country--you get to talk with someone right across town! Ive been with Southwest Cyberport for about 2 years, and have had excellent service, love that its a local provider. A few weeks ago, my service stopped in midstream (literally). I did all the troubleshooting I could, then called. Nick couldnt find anything wrong remotely or with CenturyLink, which provides infrastructure. He volunteered to come by my house WHEN HE GOT OFF WORK to see if a new modem would do the trick. It finally turned out to be an outage in my neighborhood, but Nick went above and beyond. He also happens to have been the rep with whom I set up my service. Thanks, Nick & Southwest Cyberport.

Jonathan just helped me realize, again, why I am so happy to be using SWCP instead of Century Link or Comcast.My modem died and he took care of me getting a new one in less than five minutes, including verifying me on the account. This would have been five hours with Century Link, and many unpleasant emotions.

Horrible, horrible service. At our apartment building, this internet service goes out EVERY WEEK, several times a week. I have called and they keep trying to say it is my laptop. How come I can connect at work or school w/ no problem?? Even when it does work, service is painfully slow (less than 30K per minute). I cannot watch anything or do anything online. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I would not recommend, they offer cheap internet then jack up the price... Really disappointed I thought they were an alternative to big corporate companies but it bothers me that Im told one price then its changed to a higher one

I have to say that I have had nothing but an excellent experience with SWCP. I have been using their Lightspeed Home service for about a year now and I have never had a problem with outages or anything else of the sort. The one time I had an issue, it was because a Century Link technician accidentally disconnected my pair when I had neighbors move in. The few times I have had to actually talk to someone in the company, I have always been treated courteously and professionally. I also really like that it is a local business. Not only does this mean that you are supporting local business, but more importantly in my opinion, they have a local office that can actually walk in to! Also, If I can give my money to the underdog, I am happy. Century Link and Comcast are already fat pigs and I have been a customer of both, and repeatedly disappointed with both. One techincal note to keep in mind; the lines I am on are technically owned by Century Link, but SWCP handles all the interesting parts of the operation.

THIS IS IN REFERENCE TO AN EMPLOYEE WHO WAS WORKING at 11:12 a.m. on Tuesday. 4/14/2015.I called to request service, despite hearing they simply run on Centurylinks infrastructure, because I heard their customer service was great. Nope. There is literally one man running the phone lines who has the snidest, rudest attitude Ive ever gotten from any helpline.I called asking, I was wondering why the 5mb up services were unavailable in my area and he NO EXAGGERATION started repeating Because its not available in your area. Its just not available. Theres no other explanation other than its not available. Thats the only answer I can give you, cutting me off every time I tried to ask about the nature of their infrastructure. Thats actually NOT the only answer he can give me; I was looking for an explanation of their servicing capabilities and whether they relied entirely on Qwest/Centurylink expansion plans/pre-existing structures, but he immediately decided to talk to me like i was a clueless idiot.I had my credit card in my hand ready to schedule an install date, but this dude was so unpleasant I asked if I could speak to someone else.No.When is your shift over so I can speak with the next representative?Have a nice day.When is your shift over?Have a nice day.(x3-4)Could I speak with one of your supervisors?No. Theyre all busy.Its pretty cowardly and avoidant to not connect to a supervisor or manager when youre unable to provide the necessary service.IN ADDITION, SWCP ADVERTISES THEIR LIGHTSPEED AS BROADBAND, BUT THEIR BASIC SERVICE OF 1.5MB DOWN LEGALLY DOES NOT MEET THE DEFINITION OF BROADBAND WHICH BEGINS, AT MINIMUM, AT 3MB DOWN. If you order their most basic internet package, you are not actually receiving broadband.EDIT 2: I guess my mention of going with another ISP got this review flagged on Y*lp (or they paid them off). Seriously, if you luck out, small businesses are THE way to go compared to Big Bad major companies...but if you happen to catch an unhappy customer service nerd alone in the office having a sh*tty day after hes caught a string of 10 other annoying customers...hes gonna take it out on you and lose a lifelong customer.
