Randy is THE best barber in town! I go to him every time I need a trim, shave or I let my hair grow out and need both! Dont go anywhere else, go to Randy and his crew. Personally I only let Randy do my hair.

I noticed how they do haircuts and shaves just like back in the day and EVERYONE is nice and professional. Everyone is soo friendly and lots of jokes! I will definitely be back! Worth every penny!!! To his credit, the bigger guy well-handled a difficult conversation, but this was an exercise in dealing with an unapologetically unprofessional staff. I made a first time appointment for my niece and I at 3:30 pm. I call at 3:19 pm to inform that we’d arrive a little late. We arrive at 3:40 pm. I am greeted at the door with smiles until I announced that I was there for the 3:30 pm appointment and apologized for being late. I note that I called to let them know, but received no answer. This was when pretense of courtesy was dropped. I was told, paraphrasing, “We didn’t receive your call. But you’re late. We have 30 min appointments and I don’t want to cut into the next person’s time.” I showed both men that I had called. We reached an understanding that tech doesn’t always work, so I asked should I stay or should I go? (twice)” I’m told to leave, so I leave.Everything would have been fine except as I’m leaving, I hear the larger man tell the older man that he’s refusing service because of my attitude. Apparently, he didn’t like they way I asked whether I should stay or go. So I re-enter and we begin to have a difficult conversation. Unfortunately, there was no satisfying conclusion. But it ended with everything being my fault because the older guy doesn’t give anyone attitude...and the larger guy reiterated multiple times that he can refuse service for whatever reasons he wants. That’s cool, but this was totally unavoidable had both men acted in a professional capacity.Please do not spend money here.

My 2 year old son was in desperate need of a hair cut. We havent really had much luck with him and haircuts and I was a bit nervous taking him in but as soon as we walked in the door my anxiety went away. Our barber was professional and did a fantastic job with our sons hair. And tho there was some tears not nearly as much as I thought there would be. I for sure will be going back.

Scheduled an appointment for Wednesday at 9:00. Arrived around 8:50 and waited for over a half hour. Don’t use this barbershop. Go somewhere that’s at least semi-professional.

Ive been going here for 13 years. Randy and Floyd are amazing barbers. The other barbers there do a pretty good job as well. The customer service is great and the vibe there is always friendly. If I didnt love this place, I wouldnt be this loyal for this long.

This is a awesome barbershop that reminds me of the traditional ones from back in the day when my father had his hair cut. The chairs are original, and they even have a huge gumball machine. I took my grandson for his first barbershop hair it. Joe was great at making him feel comfortable, and he gave him a fantastic haircut! Randy, the owner, and RJ also made our first visit a memorable one. The best beef jerky is even sold here! We are definitely returning to this barbershop!

These guys are awesome! My dad was 89, when we first went to Randys. He had to use a walker, so it was difficult for him to get around. I took him in for a haircut, about once a month, for as long as dad could be up and around. These gentlemen at Randys, including Randy himself, were always extremely respectful, courteous, and above all professionals. This place has what literally all other barbershops do not have in Alburqurque, class! Genuinely nice people, clean shop, good haircuts! And for $15.

I went with a friend so he could get his hair cut, he convinced me to cut mine too and after his assurance I asked Randy if he could do a fade hair cut. He told me yes very confidently and proceeded to cut my hair.... all while looking up the hair cut on his phone. Even after I told him I was nervous to switch from my normal barber, he lied to my face and gave me a terrible hair cut, which I’m going to have to pay someone to fix early next week. I may be in the wrong here because this is not that kind of barbershop, but man he messed up my head pretty bad and I felt like I needed to post this in case anyone was new to the area and did their hair in a similar fashion. Other than that, he is a very nice guy 👍 just wish he would have been straight up and I could have saved 20 dollars and a headache. One star, two stars because honestly he was a really nice guy.

Randy has been cutting my hair for the last 34 years. He gave me my first haircut as a little bitty baby, and gave me my last haircut 2 weeks ago. Welcoming old fashioned style barber shop. I take my nephews there every time I get a haircut, and they like going to Randys as much as I do.

Great place. $15 for a mens haircut. Walked in on a whim since it was near my work. Got seated right away with Big RJ. He obviously knows his business and didnt cut any corners. The place is dripping in old school atmosphere. You probably couldnt get any more authentic. One TV hung in a corner and a soda machine to kill time if you have to wait in the chairs lined up against the wall opposite the barber chairs, just like every place your dad ever took you as a kid. Everyone knows each other and really seems to enjoy their work, their friends, and their life. This place is as real as it gets.

I’m new to the area and didn’t know where to get a good fade, Randy’s was recommended to me and I’m glad it was. First come first cut, worth the wait. Will be back!
