We showed at 615 for a haircut we were told they were closed. Someone wanted to go home early.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!! 3 haircuts, all 3 terrible. One actually went home and shaved his head it WAS that bad! Never use this place, the boys left in tears!!! They have selected clientele, example today arrived @4:30 and Lady tell me they are done for the night. They are open till 6pm. Other person walks behind me and she tells them grab a number....really ok sweet I will take my money elsewhere

Took my son to get his haircut there. Regular haircut was listed as $20. AFTER a woman cut his hair(from shoulder length to short she told me it was going to be an additional charge) found out it was $15 MORE. No shampoo, styling, no additional products used , nothing just a regular haircut went from $20 to $35. NEVER EVER USE THEIR SERVICE. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

This place was horrible! She cut my sons hair and she gave him like a bald spot on top and when I told her to cut it shorter because of that spot... she had the nerve to say she was going to charge me more because I changed the style of his haircut! Never again will I take my boys back! Horrible service and paid almost 40.00 for 2 kid haircuts!!

Excellent service! Barbers are very fast and precise! Been to many barbershop and this one had never let me down. Clientele the is high yet you still get in at a good time frame. Definitely would recommend this place to everyone looking for a good hair cut.

I will never go back to this place!! Very unprofessional! The lady didn’t even know how to use clippers. She cut up the side of my 6 year old sons face and back of his ear. I had to tell her to stop because my son was in tears. The nerve of her to say he’s doing it himself because he’s moving. This has never happened ever at other barber shops. She then continued and tried to head lock him, I said no we are not doing this! I took my son out of the chair and left immediately. He was in tears and traumatized. I had to go home, wash his cuts from the clippers thoroughly and put a topical neosporin on the cuts so hopefully it does not get infected. If I could post pictures I would. This place is terrible!!

Kevin and Jenny are my personal favorite barbers. They both take pride in their work and it shows. Not only that but the extended hours of the mall make it a lot better than a conventional barbershop. You won’t be disappointed if you come here.

We have been to this shop a few times and the cuts were okay. Yesterday we had a great experience with Cassy, my son is autistic and she handled him like a pro. She was absolutely amazing with him and has a way with children. What should have been a daunting task to get done was just an overall great experience. I will definitely take my son to her from now on as his regular. Thank you Cassy for being so kind and so great with him!

I had the worst experience I have ever had at the Cottonwood Mall location in New Mexico. We stopped by to get my four-year-old sons and also my husbands hair cut. When we walked in the girl was in a rush. My son was excited to sit in the kids chair there but she would not allow him to. While cutting his hair she continued to check her apple watch as if we were an inconvenience... She finished my sons hair and we walked to the front of the store. I asked my husband if he was ready for his cut and she ignored me and walked straight to the cash register and told us the total. I asked again if he was going to get his cut and she rudely just gave us the total for my sons cut and continued to check her apple watch. We paid for it and we started to walk out. My six-year-old daughter turned around and said bye thank you! super loud and excited and the woman at this point was on her phone texting away. My daughter had to say bye again and wave before she would even look up and wave bye to her. Once we got home I gave my son a bath and once I dried his hair and looked at it, it was HORRIBLE!! It looked like she put a bowl on my sons head and just cut around it blindly. It literally looks like Edward scissor hands went to town on my sons head. Thank goodness he is only 4 and his hair will grow back, but that woman needs to be fired. There was no HI WELCOME! when we entered, we felt rushed and like we were ruining her day by having her cut my sons hair, and she obviously didnt want to do her job and cut another persons hair when my husband and I kept stating we needed his done as well. She was more worried about what her apple watch was saying and when she could get back to her phone to message someone. There was not even a Thank you or a bye from her. The transaction process was dead silent. It was a joke.

Definitely a great place to get a haircut; theres a reason for the long wait because its worth waiting for. Ive been in the shop with rude customers and the staff handled them appropriately. Will always be a customer.

Only one person knows how to give a good haircut there and thats the younger girl by the entrance. All the other barbers I have experienced have taken a long time and blend/fade very uneven and inconsistent. Also beware of kids day on Tues/Wed. They advertise $10, but if you ask for a zero (not a razor fade) they charge you the full $17. Go elsewhere.

Waited between 30-45 just to be seen while waiting with a toddler who was going to get his haircut after my daughter. It took about 45 minutes just to shave the back of my daughters hair. I understand its a teaching school, but come on!!! Avoid this place if you value your time and sanity!!

My husband got a haircut here and let me tell you, he hates haircuts, it never ends up being to his liking. But we tried this place and it came out really nice. The barbers arent very friendly but they do a good job and the prices are decent.

Ive been getting my haircuts here at Metro Barber for now 5 years. They are very proficient at what they do. Customer service is great. These barbers now cut my sons hair whom is now 3 yrs old. This is a great place to come, I wouldnt go anywhere else to get a haircut.

The man with glasses cut my hair and was definitely drunk. Messed up my hair and cut me several times on my neck making it bleed. Asked for a refund and the woman who answered the phone was extremely rude and wouldnt give me my money back.

Best School In Town. Finally A NEW Barber Instructor that knows how to take care of business. I took my kids there and i thought i was gonna have to wait a long time, but they got my kids out looking clean in no time at all. Thanks Metro for your GREAT service well definitely be back!!!!!

My son got his haircut there and it turned out AWFUL. The person cutting his hair was on his phone while cutting my son’s hair. After a couple attempts of telling him it was crooked and it should be fixed, we gave up. We’re never going back.Who the hell is on their phone while cutting somone’s hair? I mean, really.

Metro Barber School is the only place I go to for two huge reasons:-No other barber shop comes even close to their price ($7)-You are helping students learn how to cut hairI have always been pleased with my haircut and I love how even though I get the same haircut, each barber has his own personality and it comes out a little different each time.

Waiting 15-20 minutes for them to cross my sons name off the waiting list and let two other people go ahead of him is ridiculous. Rather go to a barber shop that knows what theyre doing .

Told barber to trim sides and leave top alone i showed him a picture of what i wanted , the whole time he cut my hair facing away from the mirror he finaly turns me around and the sides of my head are almost bald and 6 inches was taken off the top dont ever come here my haircut looked nothing like the picture and was cut way to short this is unacceptable

Terrible haircut! I watched the older barber do a great job on an older guy, so I told him I wanted the same cut. He gave me a combover cut! He lowered my part an inch then combed everything over the top and glued it down with gel. After I got home and washed it, I could see how bad it was. I am having my wife cut off the rest of my hair so I am not embarrassed to be out in public.

Took my son to get his hair faded. Was told 10-15 min. 1 guy was cutting another kids hair, got done cleaned up and then just left the shop. Ok, after 25-30 min waited some more another gentleman took his spot and the other barber was taking his time like he was sculpting a piece of stone. Lmao.After 45 min finally left, no one cared to ask or bother to keep us posted about the long wait.Like they was stuck, rather than trying to keep good business to the local community.

We waited for an hour and a half and I ended up leaving because they continued to take people that were not on the list in front of everyone else. I will never go back to this place because of the way they treated us. When I brought it up they said they were in front of us, but clearly not on the list to be seen. I would not recommend them.

I went in told the guy to cut the sides of my hair and leave the top alone and not touch it a few minutes go by and the guy does the opposite cutting the top of my hair and messes up on the back of my hair leaving it uneven and horrible never going back.
