I went to this place for thermostat replace and he doesnt do it well and he spoiled my AC system in my car and he broke my radiator fan and I went back to him and ask to check my radiator fan is not working and he is saying very rude answer. Because he know he did some thing wrong and he is asking for more money. If anyone planning to go this place your car will get new problems and all his adds are fake. Please dont go to this place and dont get more problems. I dont recommend this place i see the old reviews and went to this place 100% he dont know unprofessional work.

He will tell you one thing, and pretty much never do it.Ill call you in half hour and Ill let you knowThis went on for 3 days. Each time, I did not receive a call back. And every time I would call to find out what was going on, he would sound irritated, making me feel very unwelcomed.Needless to say, a week went by and the work that was needed was not finished.I paid a surprise visit to see what kind of condition my vehicle was in and how it was treated. It was left outside. My new battery was dead with no explanation. And my stereo was mysteriously in one of the employees cars - yes, my stereo, was removed from my vehicle and somehow ended up in one of the employees car.I paid the bill and got out as fast as I could.

Stopped in their driveway as my car over heated... So i stopped there but at the same time I didnt stop there...lol they get 5 stars for not kicking me off their property 😎😎😎

Car broke down was towed and diagnosed for free. Alternator was fixed the next day and even got discount on part. Will definitely be back in future.

I was on a roadtrip, traveling across the country, and was terrified when I noticed liquid had dropped from my cars engine overnight, leaving a large ominous puddle. They were friendly, helpful and totally respectful, even though I was a woman traveling in a silly little hatchback who asked them to make sure the car wouldnt explode. Highly recommend.

Very reliable mechanic shop i was traveling through town and my vehicle started to over heat so i called Uptown Auto Repair and they were quick to get my vehicle towed into the shop i thought i might have damaged my engine because i had driven the vehicle when it was hot. The mechanic looked at my vehicle and after a couple of hours they informed me that my thermostat was just stuck and needed to be replaced easily could have sold me more! They where very honest and prompt with the work and had me on the road in no time Very much recommended!!!!

Really some of the BEST service I have experienced from a mechanic. We brought my old truck here to have multiple repairs, and they were great throughout the entire project. I was in no hurry because this is a second vehicle for me, but they made sure to give me a deadline and were finished by it. I absolutely trust the pricing and work they do.

Good service, did a few repairs on 2006 highlander, due to some problems comes with aging, so far no issues, relatively cheap compared to other auto repair shops in town. They don’t charge you diagnosis fee if you get repair with them.

Unbelievable...spoke to them on Friday regarding my son that was traveling from Surprise AR to Marietta GA and needed an oil change for his Audi. Man said be there at 8am Saturday and we can do it. Sone got a room at the Marriott at midnight, was there at 8am. Its8:45am and no one is there and no one is answering any phones. Terrible

DO NOT GO HERE. Like the commenter Celeste, my daughter had a very similar experience. She brought her car in because of an oil leak and she paid $400 for the repair. She brought the car back because the oil leak continued and was told that she would have to pay another $800. When my daughter asked why she had to pay again for a problem that was not fixed the mechanic got into her face and screamed at her and called her a c*nt. I kid you not. It was a very scary situation for her. Not only did he try to rip her off but the mechanic verbally abused her as well. Unbelievable that theyre still in business.

I went to get an oil change and they assured me it could get done right away. When i picked my car up i noticed my oil was still black and the filter was clearly untouched. I took it back and he said they would fix it right away and apologized for the mistake. When i got the car back the SECOND time the oil was changed but the filter was still the SAME one! This business does not do good work and lied to me twice. I will never go again!

I have had 3 bad mechanics in ABQ, so I was nervous... Luckily, I was worried without reason. They had my car in and out in 1 day, and they managed to fix EVERYTHING for less than expected. They were BEYOND helpful and took pictures and explained everything they had done so I would understand what was going in with my car. I cannot express enough how WONDERFUL this shop is and how awesome the mechanics are. Hands down, best mechanic in the ABQ area. I will never take my car anywhere else!

He verbally assaulted me when I confronted him for doing a terrible job fixing my car. He has assaulted women and I regret ever going to this abomination of place.

By far the best service I have ever gotten. I was traveling from atlanta to las vegas for a work trip and my clutch went out in albuquerque. It was saturday and my show was on my monday, I called several mechanics, uptown was booked for the day but said to stop by near the end to see what they could do for me. They ordered the part and one of the mechanics came in on sunday and took care of it for me because I was in such dire straights. Seriously the best mechanic experience Ive ever had.

Ive taken my vehicles here for years now but be wary of the mechanics ILLEGALLY PARKING YOUR CAR!! I now have to take time off work in order to go into court to dispute a ticket. Now I will be the first to admit mistakes happen however the professional thing to do would be to admit they parked illegally and got a ticket. They neither informed me of the ticket offered to pay it since it was in fact their mistake. They just hid from their mistake and figured I wouldnt notice. The worst part of the whole situation is when I called Martin to advise him of the ticket, I never even heard an apology. How can I put faith in someone who cant even be honest with me. Very disappointing!!

This shop is horrible, said my tranny was messed up. it was the front left wheel bearings which i had been told.haf it fixed called Martin to let him know and he started yelling at meDo not recommend this shop anymore!

The police got involved.More info: they ordered me a used steering knuckle that took days to arrive, and was broken. I had to find out where they could get a new one, and tell them where to get it. They charged $100 more than they quotedSo, the mechanic got violent, they are lazy, do really bad work, and charge too much.

We had a problem with our volvo and we were stuck in Albuquerque. We needed to get back to Colorado tonight; the next thing I know we found Uptown Autobody and they saved us. We were on the road again in an hour. I cant thank them enough for the quick service and friendly attitude. We needed a new coil and got one lickety split. The owner is a nice guy and did not overcharge us.

I had a family emergency and had to leave town in a rush. Unfortunately my wifes cars fuel pump went out on me as Im trying to leave town. I left the car with marty, the owner, at his shop. While out of town, I learned that nissan had a recall for faulty fuel pumps so arranged to have it fixed for free at the dealership. Even though I didnt have uptown auto do the job, marty gave me a great price on the original tow and diagnosis he had already done on my car. He even gave me advice on how to approach the situation with nissan. He is honestly the most helpful and understanding mechanic Ive ever dealt with, and Ive been all over the country. Most mechanics would not continue to help you out once they have learned that theyre not getting the repair job, at least all the ones Ive dealt with in the past. These are seriously good people over there at uptown auto. I would definately recommmend anyone to use these guys next time they find themselves in an emergency car situation!

FLAT OUT SHADY BUSINESS MARTY HAS NO RESPECT FOR CUSTOMER USES DRUGS IN HIS SHOP .TOOK MY CAR THERE TO GET FIXED NOT ONLY WAS IT NOT FIXED THEY STILL CHARGED ME FOR THE WORK I DIDNT EVEN NEED . I DONT KNOW HOW THIS GUY IS EVEN IN BUSINESS .

I had a random misfire problem and it does not start. The code of the engine light is P300. The guy fixed it in the next day but the light turns on after three weeks. I went to ask why. The guy does not have any idea. The boss Martin behalf crazy. My car starts rough and shakes for seconds. So, I try to take out the spark plugs and do the compression test. Suddenly, I found one spark plug was adjusted without gap. Every spark plug has a required gap for each car. It is unbelievable to see that. The head of the spark plug was give a force to stick together. How can it make spark in the correct time. Is this his way to fix the misfire problem? I WILL NEVER EVER GO THERE.

Brought my car in on Monday - and picked it up on Thursday- not fixed! Little had been done. On Wednesday was told that the mechanic had the part number I needed, and owner suggested I look for the part myself online. Have been going to Uptown Auto for years, but will never go back.
